S.P.E.C.T.O.R – [A Sci-fi space adventure with fantasy elements]

Adam headed towards the elevator and noticed that it required a key card to be able to use it.

He held his uniband up to the panel that staff members flash their key cards in front of before the panel beeped and showed a green light as the floor indicator above the elevator showed it was descending from the ground floor.

”Ding.”

The door to the elevator opened, however Adam did not step inside straight away. Instead, he acquired from one of the pockets on his utility belt a small metal sphere around the size of a marble.

[Superhearofangirl (Earth): A utility belt, now we’re talking.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): What’s that small marble item?]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): I’m not sure, prestigious?]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): No clue.]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Wow, it’s a stun ball.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Those things police and security forces use to knock people unconscious, impossible. It’s too small.]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Nah ah, not if it’s military grade.]

💫💫💫

On board the Imperial Down, Tessa turned to Becky and gave her a glare, to which Becky only stuck out her tongue before turning back to the stream.

Tessa sighed before focusing her attention back on the stream.

💫💫💫

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): So it’s a military grade stun ball, how on Vinox did he get military tech?]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): That’s so Sci-Fi.]

Adam placed the stun ball on the ground in the middle of the elevator and then pressed the button for the VIP floor before quickly leaving the elevator.

Adam accessed his uniband to display a holographic image of one of the micro cams that was not riding in the elevator, as the stream’s view also changed to the micro cam.

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): How the heck are we watching what’s happening in the elevator when the streamer is still down in the car park?]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): That’s so Sci-Fi.]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Must be his micro cams.]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Micro cams? Like small cameras?]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Exactly, it’s how he streams from multiple different 3rd person perspectives. They are super small cams that have stealth tech to make them invisible.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Stealth tech exists?]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Yes, though usage of it is extremely restrictive.]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): So there are stealth ships and stealth suits? That’s so SciFi.]

Adam and the viewers watched as the elevator went up to the VIP floor before stopping with a ”Ding” as the door opened.

They saw through the micro cam that two guards stood on either side of the elevator door with their backs to it, but turned around as they heard the doors open.

Both guards looked into the elevator with puzzled expressions as there was nothing there before one of them spotted a small ball on the ground.

Adam recognised the two guards that had appeared on his uniband’s holographic display as the two men who had held him down that night before throwing him off the cliff.

”Talk about a coincidence,” he mumbled as he balled his fists.

After a moment, he calmed himself down as he saw one of the guards enter the elevator and bend down to pick up the stun ball.

”Detonate.” He said before a white flash appeared on his and the chat’s displays. They heard two thud noises, and when the white light vanished from their screens, the two guards were down.

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Are they dead?]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): It’s called a stun ball, idiot, they’re just unconscious.]

Adam called the elevator back down with his uniband, and a moment later, the door opened with one of the guards lying unconscious on the floor.

Adam entered the elevator and rolled the guard over onto his front to make sure it was indeed one of the men from that night before he pulled out his blaster and rotated the cylinder to the 3rd setting, after which he aimed at the guard’s head and pulled with trigger with no remorse.

”Bzzz.”

A red light hit the guard’s head, turning it into mush and scaring the elevator floor before he pressed the button for the VIP floor.

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Cold, I like it kekeke.]

[Superhearofangirl (Earth): Why did he kill him when he was already unconscious?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Unsure. I guess only the streamer knows his reason, and if he doesn’t want to tell us, we wont know.]

[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): That’s how things are in the universe, it’s a dangerous place where if you don’t act cold, sometimes you will die.]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): That’s why all those other IRL streamers are fake, they are all paid to make the universe look pretty and appealing by their governments and sponsors when it’s actually a very dangerous place.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Agreed.]

[Justiceistruth: (Earth): Still, I wonder why he shot him, it’s not very just.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): There are many different forms of justice.]

As the chat talked and the elevator rose, Adam rotated the cylinder to the first section before waiting for the elevator door to open.

”Ding.” As the door opened, he saw nothing but a hallway and the guard unconscious on the floor, so he stuck his head out of the door and looked around before checking the minimap on his HUD, which showed his target, Donald Simmons, was heading in his direction across the VIP room.

Adam quickly pulled the unconscious guard’s body into the elevator and knelt down while keeping his blaster trained on the elevator door before he reached around the back of his utility belt to retrieve his beam saber.

Withdrawing it, he held it over the unconscious guard’s head and turned it on for a second before switching it off again.

The red beam shot out of the end and pierced the guard’s skull, killing him instantly.

Adam stood back up and put his beam saber back on his belt as the chat went crazy.

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Is it just me, or was that what I think it was?????]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): It’s got to be, wow, I never thought I would see one in real life.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): I’m a gun lover, but even I think they’re cool.]

[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): I’ve only seen them as film props or toys.]

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Someone’s about to go crazy kekeke.]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): ….]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Hey SciFi, you ok?]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Yeah, man, isn’t this like a huge deal for you?]

The chat started to wonder why SciFi was not replying until.

[SciFifanboy (Earth): AHHHHHHHHH THAT’S A LIGHTSABER BITCH, HELL YEAH YOU DON’T GET ANY MORE SCIFI THAN THAT COME ON!]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): There we go, had us worried for a moment there, I guess the shock just took a moment to sink in.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Lightsaber? Don’t you mean beam saber?]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Yeah, what’s the big deal?]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): It’s an Earth thing. There is this huge, scenic fiction film franchise where the main characters wield these weapons and are known as the guardians of justice. Every kid who watches those films dreams of being able to wield the weapon, so knowing that they actually exist is super cool.]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Err, right. I mean, cool.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Hahaha. Beam sabers are super common in the universe, and you can buy them from any weapons shop, so when your planet begins exploring space, you will also be able to acquire them.]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): @Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2) @Handsome3horns (Vinox 2) @Superior4horns (Vinox 3) @Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7) @Tessisdabest (Imperial Down) @Beczontop (Imperial Down) get me one and send it to me please, I will give you the money for it.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): …]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): ...]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): …]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): …]

[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): …]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): …]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): You won’t? Sad face emoji]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): It’s not that we won’t, we just don’t know where to send it.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Yeah, we don’t know where Earth is.]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): Oh, crying face emoji.]

As the chat was talking, Adam had moved into a position where he could see the doorway at the other end of the corridor that Donald Simmons was about to walk through.
