Endless Winter: My Camp Upgrades Infinitely

Chapter 1153: Chapter 393: Jiao Long Nest’s Bountiful Harvest, The Rise of the New Generation (Part 3)

However, seeing the Rock Armor Bear charging towards them, Luo An, Luo Cheng, and Zou Ping had expressions of anticipation rather than fear.

”This Rock Armor Bear’s skin is too thick; arrows won’t penetrate it. Better to go head-on; leave it to me!”

Luo An couldn’t hold back anymore. With a hint of excitement in his eyes, he shouted loudly, dropped the rope, pulled out the knife he had just stuck in the ground, and faced the charging Rock Armor Bear, leaning slightly forward.

The blood around him was boiling; he tightly gripped the knife with both hands. Just a meter or two away from the Bear, he pushed off the ground with his legs, leaping high with his Iron Armor, raising his knife over his head and slashing down fiercely.

Whoosh...

The blade of the knife was narrow, creating a piercing sound when swung.

Of course, the sharpness of this sound depended on the force.

Luo An’s power was obviously astonishing.

As he slashed down, the sound was almost like a sharp whistle.

His knife was of Thousand Forged Level, so the silver blade illuminated the night as it slashed down on the Rock Armor Bear’s forehead.

Crack...

With his knife hitting its mark, the sound of the Bear’s forehead bone shattering was heard, and Luo An’s eyes flashed with a hint of joy.

However, this joy didn’t last long!

The Bear’s frontal bone was indeed split open, but its charging continued unabated, becoming more aggressive due to the pain. It pushed the knife aside and crashed directly into Luo An’s leg.

Bang...

The Bear’s charging force was terrifying; Luo An’s leg got hit, sending him spinning, and he fell forward onto the Bear’s forehead.

The Bear was extremely cunning. Seeing Luo An lose his balance, it immediately swung its body, throwing him to the ground. Then it got up swiftly, bringing its massive paws down towards Luo An’s head.

Bang......

Even wearing a helmet, if hit by this paw, one might not die but be severely injured. There was no way Luo An would let it hit him!

As the paws descended, Luo An rolled to the side to evade, eyes glinting with fierce light. While the Bear landed on all fours again, he quickly flipped upright, and his right leg kicked fiercely towards the Bear’s waist and abdomen.

Bang...

The huge body of the Bear was actually flipped over by his kick.

”Good opportunity!”

Luo An seized the moment, dashing to the Bear’s neck before it could get back up. He reverse-gripped his knife and stabbed straight down into its left eye.

The 1.2-meter blade almost fully plunged into the Bear’s left eye pupil.

Squelch...

Having already heavily injured the Bear’s frontal bone, now with the blade completely embedded in its left eye, and Luo An pressing down hard, blood gushed from its skull. After struggling on the ground for five or six times, it was finished.

Bang...

”Killed it single-handedly?”

”This Rock Armor Bear has the strength of nearly a mane and a half, right?”

”Animal traps injured it, and several Iron Arrows pierced its neck and underarm earlier, so it couldn’t exert full power. But at least it had the strength of a mane. For Luo An to kill it alone is remarkable!”

”No wonder he wouldn’t join the Hunting Team. He’s almost able to single-handedly take down an Intermediate Cold Beast. Luo An must be deliberately not breaking through the Cold Resistance Level to continue pushing for a higher War Body.”

”Nonsense, everyone here tonight, all sixteen, are the same.”

......

With Luo An killing the Rock Armor Bear, all thirteen people around came out.

”Luo An, are you okay?”

Luo Cheng and Zou Ping, who were closest to Luo An, came directly to his side. Zou Ping asked about his condition, and even the normally cold Luo Cheng showed a hint of concern.

Luo An jumped down from the Bear’s neck, and as he pressed his left leg to the ground, he grimaced with pain but still managed to grin at them, saying with a laugh, ”I’m fine, just need a few days to rest.”

Growing up together, Zou Ping knew his friend’s character very well and rolled his eyes at him but quickly stepped forward to support him, asking with a chuckle, ”What’s your basic strength now?”

”Sixty-one thousand!”

”That’s too fast, already Lower War Body?”

Seeing both his friend Zou Ping and Luo Cheng showing surprised expressions, Luo An displayed a hint of pride.

Last October, when he went to East Ridge for the competition, his basic strength was already over thirty-six thousand pounds. In one year, he increased by twenty-five thousand pounds, and at this rate, within the whole Camp’s Earth-digging Realm Limit, he could rank in the top five.

”Luo An, if you keep disobeying orders, when we return to He Yin Village, I’ll report to Lord Guardian!”

Luo An’s smile froze on his face. He turned to see Xiao Hen walking slowly from behind, his gaze slightly sinking as he said, ”Xiao Hen, I’m only temporarily assigned to the He Yin Village exploration team, not your subordinate, so why should I follow your orders?

Besides, your so-called energy-saving hunting is ineffective. With that Rock Armor Bear just now, it couldn’t be taken down by pure bow and arrow. Instead of wasting time here, why not quickly kill it for more exploration time!”

”I think Luo An is right. Just an Intermediate Cold Beast; what’s the point of wasting time here? The sooner we kill it, the sooner we finish!”

”We’ve only explored twenty-one kilometers; Zhao Yuandao and Zhao Yuankong’s team explored twenty-seven kilometers yesterday. To catch up, we need to speed up.”

”Xiao Hen, your main task as the leader should be to lead us in advancing the exploration speed. If we lose the competition, nothing else matters.”

”Indeed, I also agree with Luo An.”

......

Seeing all the team members except for Xiao Yuan, Xiao Lin, and Xiao Cen of the home family opposing him, Xiao Hen’s expression instantly turned sullen.
