Endless Winter: My Camp Upgrades Infinitely

Chapter 664: Chapter 277: The Terrifying Hundred-Eyed Demon Sheep (Part 2)

Luo Yuan and the seven others might have escaped, Chen Yingyuan wasn’t sure, but at this moment, he definitely couldn’t escape.

After the Demon Sheep knocked his spear flying, it relentlessly leaped from the ground and intercepted him in mid-air, then delivered a ferocious collision, sending him flying towards Peng Bo.

Peng Bo’s waist had already been gouged with a big hole by the Demon Sheep, seriously injured, staggering forward desperately to escape, barely having time to glance back.

Bang!

Chen Yingyuan’s body slammed directly into Peng Bo. Even though he had already reduced his strength by quite a bit at the moment of impact, he still sent Peng Bo flying solidly.

Luckily, he managed to grab onto Peng Bo, dispersing most of the force, or else Peng Bo’s injuries would only worsen, and Chen himself wouldn’t fare well.

This Demon Sheep, it’s relentless in targeting multiple people at once, it refuses to let any go.

Huff......

”Run!”

Still having some remaining strength, Chen Yingyuan sensed the Demon Sheep charging towards them again, swiftly pushing Peng Bo to the right while dodging to the left himself.

For what it’s worth, Chen Yingyuan’s reaction wasn’t slow at all, but it couldn’t withstand the terrifying speed of the Demon Sheep.

The waists of both men were impaled by the Demon Sheep’s sharp horns, hanging onto them.

”It’s over, I shouldn’t have overestimated myself.”

A trace of gloom flashed in Chen Yingyuan’s eyes, fear jolting through his mind;

Peng Bo, wielding the Ghost Head Great Saber, frantically chopped at the Demon Sheep’s sharp horns, trying to stop it, but realized it was utterly futile, his expression darkening considerably.

Swoosh swoosh swoosh......

A barrage of Iron Arrows sped from behind, realizing that Luo Yuan and the others hadn’t abandoned them but came to help, a glimmer of hope rose on the faces of Chen and Peng.

But this glimmer of hope was quickly extinguished.

The Demon Sheep didn’t bother to dodge, charging forward with both men stubbornly in tow, its eyes on its forehead suddenly opened wide.

Swoosh......

From its two pure gold vertical pupiled eyes, beams of golden light exploded out.

The golden light carried a sharp aura, cutting through the snowy night, nearly illuminating the surrounding few meters, shooting directly towards Chen and Peng’s foreheads.

”Block!”

Neither Chen nor Peng resigned themselves to fate, wildly twisting their heads to dodge.

However, their waists were impaled, greatly restricting the movement of their heads. Though narrowly avoiding their foreheads, the side was still pierced through by the golden light, a large patch of skin and flesh torn off, blood smeared all over their faces instantly.

Thud!

”Roar......”

The intense pain pierced their minds, Chen and Peng barely had a chance to devise a plan for escape when they heard the Demon Sheep’s anguished roar, looking down, their faces instantly brightened with joy.

”Run quickly!”

It was Xu Ning.

Xu Ning had managed to reach this spot faster than others, taking advantage of the Demon Sheep just moments after opening its eyes, pierced its left eye with an arrow.

With such an excellent opportunity to free themselves, Chen and Peng didn’t hesitate, they both delivered a fierce kick to the Demon Sheep’s head, tearing themselves away painfully, escaping rapidly.

However, the wounds to their waists were too severe, rendering them unable to move swiftly.

”Roar!”

The Demon Sheep, hit by Xu Ning’s arrow, clearly didn’t intend to let them escape.

Whoosh!

The Demon Sheep unleashed an even more terrifying speed and impact than before, closing in on the two almost instantly, the terrifying impact knocked them to the ground, followed by a frenzy of stomping.

Bang bang bang bang......

”Roar!”

Throughout the mad stomping, the Demon Sheep’s roar never ceased, its originally two-meter-long body quickly expanded in size with each roar, turning into a colossal monster over twenty meters long in just over ten breaths.

”This is the Demon Sheep’s battle form, just like Snow Mane from Jing Valley!”

Yue Feng, from the rear, had this thought flash through his mind, quickly notching an arrow aimed at the Demon Sheep’s right eye for a rapid shot; not only him, but Luo Yuan, Chen Yingba, Wu Tianxing, and the other six did the same, all trying to use their bows to relieve Chen Yingyuan and Peng Bo.

However, after the size increased, the difficulty of breaking free increased dramatically.

They couldn’t even see Chen and Peng beneath the Demon Sheep, nor did they manage to pierce through its skin membrane, much less free the two?

Even more critically, the Demon Sheep, having just been shot through its left eye, was more vigilant and defensive against them, always keeping its head lowered, and even when lifting its head, closing its right eye, leaving no opportunity.

”How can it still fight unaffected with its eyes closed?”

Xu Ning had this thought cross his mind, recalling the Demon Sheep’s traits, suddenly flashed with inspiration, turned and saw a tall tree nearby, quickly climbed up it.

Bang bang bang......

The demon sheep’s trampling continued, and everyone saw Chen Peng and the other person frantically struggling to dodge under its feet, their faces full of anxiety.

”We can’t just watch our big brother die, I’m going to save them!”

Chen Yingba was the first to break the silence. Chen Yingyuan was his blood brother, and he couldn’t just sit back and do nothing. Without a second thought, he drew his saber and rushed over, jumping onto the demon sheep’s back and fiercely hacking at its neck.

Unfortunately, as Peng Bo had mentioned earlier, none of them could break through the demon sheep’s skin membrane.

Just as Peng Bo had said, Chen Yingba’s actions were completely ineffective.

The demon sheep merely flicked its head casually and sent him flying.

Being flung away wasn’t the end; a golden light suddenly shot from the demon sheep’s back, racing towards Chen Yingba.

Whoosh!

In the nick of time, Chen Yingba raised his saber to block and spun around to evade.

Though his clothes were torn, he managed to dodge it in the end.

What was that sound just now?

Chen Yingba turned to look at the demon sheep’s back, his eyes suddenly lit up.

An iron arrow with silver feathers was lodged in the demon sheep’s back.

It was Xu Ning again!

When the demon sheep attempted to kill him earlier, Xu Ning, from the tree, intervened once more.

An arrow pierced through the demon sheep’s open eye.

”Get to the trees. No wonder closing its eyes didn’t impact its fighting; it has many eyes on its back that open occasionally for surveillance. From the trees, there’s a chance. Wu Tianxing, keep it entangled and give Chen Yingyuan and Peng Bo a break!”

On the tree, Xu Ning shouted angrily. Luo Yuan and the others immediately reacted, all climbing the surrounding large trees.

Even though Wu Tianxing’s face flashed with a hint of fear, he gritted his teeth, lifted his saber, and charged over.

The demon sheep, with a body nearly thirty meters long, trampled the ground so fiercely that the accumulated snow was swept away, exposing the earth beneath and creating several pits. Chen Yingyuan and Peng Bo dodged frantically inside, clearly exhausted.

Their dodging was more about avoiding fatal spots; completely evading the demon sheep’s trampling with zero harm was virtually impossible.

”No, the demon sheep has realized our intent and isn’t giving us a chance.”

”This beast, it’s too clever.”

”Wu Tianxing’s strength can’t threaten it; it’s focused on killing us.”

”Big brother, dodge quickly.”

.........

However, with more people in the trees, the demon sheep didn’t unleash any slaughter moves.

Its body suddenly stiffened, its head lowered to look at Chen Peng and his companion below. Everyone immediately realized its plan, shouting in alarm to warn Chen Peng to find an opportunity to escape.

Nine at Cold Resistance Level, four in Late-stage Cold Resistance, two with near Snow Mane strength; facing a high-level demon sheep, feeling so powerless was one thing, but even having a possibility of being killed was something else.

In an instant, whether it was Xu Ning and Luo Yuan in the trees or Chen Yingyuan and Peng Bo, whose lives were hanging by a thread, they all faltered for a moment.

Boom!

The demon sheep lifted its hooves high and suddenly stomped down.

A loud crash ensued, with the demon sheep’s feet as the core, a horizontal shockwave of air suddenly flew out.

Crrronch......

The shockwave flew out, causing the nearby trees, within five or six hundred meters, to suddenly halt.

Then, an incredibly terrifying scene unfolded.

Trees over a mile around were all broken at the base.

The shockwave had forcibly snapped these trees, each with a diameter of around twenty meters.

”Gulp......”

Xu Ning swallowed his spit, sensing the tree beneath him cracking. He quickly collected his wits and leaped towards the snow on the side.

Like him, Luo Yuan and the five others on the nearby trees also jumped down to evade.

Even Wu Tianxing, who had been continuously entwined with the demon sheep, was left speechless by the scene before him, retreating backward continuously.

But at that moment when everyone was evading.

The demon sheep moved!

Its back, abdomen, forehead, and even its tail — every muscle in its body began to move.

......
