Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1764: Chapter 654: The Cold Strong Woman in Others’ Eyes, Yet He Can...

At three in the morning, Zhang Jingdong carried Chu Yi out of the bathroom.

Back on the bed in the bedroom, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Are you sure you can handle it?”

Chu Yi didn’t hesitate at all, she just nodded directly. ”Yeah.”

Just then something occurred to Zhang Jingdong. ”Have you done it like that before?”

Chu Yi pressed her lips together. ”He wanted to... but I didn’t agree.”

Zhang Jingdong grinned wickedly. ”Then why are you agreeing now?”

Chu Yi shot him a soft sideways glance. ”Because... you’re even worse than him, and I’ve fallen helplessly in love with you.”

”Then forget it, I’m afraid you won’t like it.”

Chu Yi paused, then said, shy and delighted, ”...Come on. You’re way more skilled than he ever was in every way, so actually... I kind of want to try it too.”

”Really?”

”...Mm.”

Zhang Jingdong nodded ”reluctantly.” ”All right then.”

”Congratulations, Host, for successfully completing an unconventional lesson. Reward: 80 million!”

After class, Zhang Jingdong slipped an arm around Chu Yi’s fragrant shoulders. ”How does it feel?”

A hint of sultry charm flashed in Chu Yi’s eyes. ”I told you... you’re not allowed to laugh at me.”

”Of course I won’t. Just tell me honestly.”

”I feel like... doing it that way just now seems even more fun than the way we did it before.”

For a moment, Zhang Jingdong found it hard to believe. ”Really?”

Chu Yi bit lightly at the corner of her mouth. ”...Mm.”

That made Zhang Jingdong instantly happy. ”All right then. From now on, when I give you lessons, I’ll do two regular ones like that, and then one like this.”

”...Okay.”

...

At 6 a.m., Zhang Jingdong left the bedroom and went into the living room.

He picked up his cellphone and started checking last night’s texts.

After replying to a few, he noticed that He Jieyu had just sent him one two minutes ago: Boss Zhang, are you awake yet?

So Zhang Jingdong replied: I’m awake. What, you still haven’t gone to sleep?

It was 11 p.m. in Switzerland. He Jieyu had been feeling a little sleepy and was planning to tease Zhang Jingdong a bit and then go to bed.

As soon as she saw his reply, she perked right up and texted back: Whose little vixen’s bed are you in right now?

Zhang Jingdong: Student Yan Ning’s.

He Jieyu: Seriously? You’re back in Jiangdu?

Zhang Jingdong: Yeah, I came back yesterday.

He Jieyu: Then you must’ve been really busy last night, huh? How many lessons did you end up teaching?

Zhang Jingdong: Eight regular lessons, four unconventional lessons.

He Jieyu: Unconventional lessons? What’s that supposed to mean?

Zhang Jingdong: Regular lessons are the way we did it before. Unconventional lessons are where I switch to a different way of solving the problem. Use your imagination a little?

He Jieyu: You mean that freshly—crossed-paths one.

Zhang Jingdong: Knew you were smart. So do you want to take this unconventional course?

He Jieyu: Of course I do!

Zhang Jingdong: Didn’t expect you to agree so readily. When I was giving this kind of lesson to Student Yan Ning and the others, it took a ton of effort to convince them.

He Jieyu: Maybe it’s because I’m abroad now. This kind of course is really common overseas. Some of the girls around me even prefer it to the regular courses.

Zhang Jingdong: Okay, in that case, once I get to Europe I’ll make sure to give you a few good unconventional lessons.

He Jieyu: So, Boss Zhang, when are you actually coming to Europe? The Olympics start in just a few days. Are you even going to watch any events or not?

Zhang Jingdong: I have to watch! Here’s the deal: I’ll definitely be there by the 20th. That work for you?

He Jieyu: By then the Olympics will almost be over.

Zhang Jingdong: It’s not like we have to watch everything. We’ll just focus on a few events to soak up the Olympic atmosphere, then go to Santorini Island for vacation.

He Jieyu: Fine, then tell me what events you want to watch. I’ll buy the tickets in advance.

Zhang Jingdong thought quickly for a moment, then replied: Women’s diving, women’s table tennis, women’s beach volleyball, women’s boxing, and the men’s 110-meter hurdles final.

He Jieyu: That’s so you—an entire string of women’s events, and then what’s up with that last one, the men’s 110-meter hurdles?

Zhang Jingdong: I got some inside info. This time our country’s men’s track and field might have a major breakthrough in that event. Plus our company already signed that athlete ahead of time, so I want to see his strength for myself.

He Jieyu: All right, got it. I’ll get all the tickets bought in the next couple of days.

Zhang Jingdong: Good girl.

He Jieyu: Hurry up and come to Europe. Your good baby’s in the mood to graze.

Zhang Jingdong: Haha, don’t worry, I’ll definitely let you graze to your heart’s content when I get there.

After chatting with He Jieyu, Zhang Jingdong kept scrolling through his texts and saw that half an hour ago Yuan Mei had sent: Thinking of you while working on new dishes, sleepless all night.

He blinked rapidly a couple of times, then sent her: Still not asleep?

In less than ten seconds, Yuan Mei replied: That’s right.

Zhang Jingdong: What new dish are you working on?

Yuan Mei: Parting Soup.

Zhang Jingdong: Why are you working on such a bittersweet dish?

Yuan Mei: What do you think?

Zhang Jingdong: Where are you right now?

Yuan Mei: Third floor of Lake Heart Pavilion.

Zhang Jingdong: Wait for me, I’m coming over to you right now.

Yuan Mei: Will she let you come?

Zhang Jingdong: Don’t tell me you still don’t know how much control your man has?

Yuan Mei: Come at noon. I’m going to get some sleep now—I don’t want you to see me looking haggard.

Zhang Jingdong: You sure?

Yuan Mei: I’m sure. I was actually just waiting for your reply. As long as you still have me in your heart, my heart’s at peace. I’m going to sleep now, my Trojan horse.

Smiling, Zhang Jingdong shook his head, then replied: All right, see you at noon then. I haven’t had your cooking in a long time either, my Trojan horse.
