Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 834: Chapter 346: With Her in the Guest Room...

He felt that this might be the kind of romantic bliss depicted in the song he just wrote.

So this time she had no dissatisfaction at all, and even had an uncontrollable hint of excitement on her face.

Seeing this, Zhang Jingdong tightened his arm around her fragrant shoulder and continued walking with her.

Half an hour later, the two had roughly circled the campus of the normal university.

Zhang Jingdong suddenly said, ”By the way, you mentioned before that when you learn songs, you would listen to the song dozens of times first before learning it, and then record yourself singing it to compare with the original version.”

”So you have a voice recorder or other recording equipment at home?”

Le Yun was puzzled as to why Zhang Jingdong suddenly asked this. She was taken aback for a moment, then nodded: ”Yes.”

Zhang Jingdong’s heart thumped, and he nonchalantly said, ”That’s perfect. I’ll go and record those three songs for you right now. Learn them as fast as you can in the next few days, and then I’ll take you to the recording studio.”

Although Le Yun suddenly realized that Zhang Jingdong’s real intention was to visit her home, she couldn’t refuse since the matter of recording those three songs was too important.

So she almost didn’t hesitate and nodded directly: ”Okay.”

About ten minutes later, they arrived at Building No. 9 of the faculty apartments.

After entering, they climbed three flights of stairs and arrived at the door of apartment 302.

At this moment, Le Yun secretly breathed a sigh of relief. After all, it was the first time bringing a man home, and he was now her nominal boyfriend. It felt a bit too much.

Then she took out the key and opened the door.

They walked in, and Le Yun casually turned on the light.

Zhang Jingdong glanced around.

Her apartment was a standard two-bedroom unit. The overall decor was not bad, and the most conspicuous feature was that all the walls and ceilings were lined with soundproofing foam.

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but exclaim, ”Your setup is amazing. The whole place is like a karaoke room; you can sing to your heart’s content!”

Le Yun smiled and shook her head, ”I love singing at night, so I can’t disturb the neighbors.”

Zhang Jingdong quickly surveyed Le Yun again, then asked, ”Where do you usually record your songs?”

Le Yun pointed to the guest room: ”In there.”

Zhang Jingdong immediately said, ”Let’s go, while we’re still awake, let’s get down to business!”

Then he headed straight to the guest room.

Le Yun thought his words were a bit odd, but she followed him into the guest room anyway.

The guest room wasn’t big, maybe a little over a dozen square meters.

It was furnished with a large desk, a bookshelf, and a lounge chair, but there was no bed.

A smirk appeared on Zhang Jingdong’s face as he went straight to the desk.

He suddenly realized he underestimated Le Yun. She didn’t use a voice recorder, nor did she use a cassette player; surprisingly, she had a full set of recording equipment.

Although not as complete as a recording studio, it had everything from a microphone to a computer and sound card, and it was all top brands.

Once Le Yun finished setting up the equipment, Zhang Jingdong did a quick sound check and praised, ”Le Yun, just the quality of this equipment and your adept handling of it shows you truly love music. I’m glad I wasn’t wrong about you!”

If Zhang Jingdong praised something else, Le Yun might have been embarrassed, but upon hearing him compliment her equipment, she immediately beamed with a happy smile.

Zhang Jingdong affectionately ruffled her silky hair, then began recording.

The first song he recorded was ”Silence.”

He first recorded a La Ying version, then suddenly thought of something and said, ”I actually have two versions of this song in mind. I’ll record the other version for you right now, and you can choose which one to learn, okay?”

Seeing how much Zhang Jingdong valued her, Le Yun eagerly nodded: ”Okay.”

Then Zhang Jingdong recorded the Zhou Jielun version of ”Silence” again.

Le Yun couldn’t help but praise, ”This version sounds even better!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed, ”Since you like this version more, learn this one.”

”Okay.”

Next, Zhang Jingdong recorded ”Red High Heels.”

After the first take, he felt the mood was off, so he recorded it again but still felt something wasn’t right.

Seeing Zhang Jingdong furrow his brows, Le Yun asked, ”What’s wrong? I think it sounds great.”

Zhang Jingdong replied seriously, ”At first, it might sound okay, but after listening to it dozens of times, you’ll notice something’s off. The mood is the soul of the whole song; if that’s wrong, the whole song feels wrong.”

”How about this, put on the dress you wore the first time we met, and a pair of red high heels, to help me get in the right mood.”

”This... okay.”

Though a bit conflicted and doubtful, Le Yun couldn’t refuse Zhang Jingdong, as they were in the middle of recording. So she agreed.

She got up and left the guest room.

Five minutes later, the door to the guest room was pushed open again. Zhang Jingdong looked toward the door with anticipation and was instantly thrilled!

Le Yun wasn’t wearing that long dress but had changed into a short skirt!

Although the hem of the short skirt was below the knee, it still revealed a section of her beautiful calves.

Plus, the beautifully designed red high heels were simply perfect!

When she turned to close the door after coming in, the high heels accentuated the curve of her hips even more perfectly!
