Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 720: Chapter 308: ...Coming from Her Mom’s Room

And just then, a strange noise suddenly came from outside the door.

The two of them instantly froze on the spot!

He Jieyu didn’t know what the sound meant at first, but Zhang Jingdong immediately felt amused in his heart.

Mrs. Lin, you really are up to something trendy!

Half a minute later, He Jieyu seemed to realize what was happening, and her pretty face turned crimson!

She forced herself to calmly explain for her mom, ”My mom must be watching a movie... she... she’s always by herself.”

Zhang Jingdong pouted, ”Being alone... you can actually self-learn too.”

He Jieyu glared at him immediately, ”Don’t talk nonsense!”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong didn’t want to offend her, so he switched topics, ”So what should we do now?”

He Jieyu looked a bit troubled and could only say, ”How about... I review the lesson from that day?”

Seeing that she started to entertain that thought, Zhang Jingdong immediately said, ”How about this, I’ll teach you another lesson!”

”What lesson?”

Zhang Jingdong’s eyes drifted over a certain fullness, and he gave a mysterious smile, ”You’ll find out soon enough!”

Over the next two hours, Zhang Jingdong first gave He Jieyu a calligraphy lesson, teaching her how to write the most beautiful character for ”mountain.”

Then he gave her a traditional painting lesson, guiding her in creating a piece titled ”A Garden of Spring Colors Can’t Be Contained.”

What embarrassed He Jieyu most, while also giving Zhang Jingdong all sorts of secret joy, was that during this time, He Jieyu’s mother, Lin Ruotang, managed to self-learn two lessons in the room next door.

Close to 2 AM, Zhang Jingdong contentedly jumped out the window and left.

Although he still didn’t manage to give He Jieyu a proper lesson tonight, the overall feeling was quite satisfying, especially with the unexpected insight into Mrs. Lin.

And thinking about it, Mrs. Lin actually has it pretty tough too.

As a boss, she has so much work pressure during the day, and now, in her middle age, she’s developed a liking for classes, yet she can only self-study.

I truly want to help her out!

But the timing isn’t right yet.

Well, let’s slowly look for opportunities in the future.

Zhang Jingdong returned to the hotel, and discussed with Kong Xue’er and Sun Yuzhen the similarities and differences between English learning in Huaxia and Korea.

It was almost 5 AM when the three finally went to sleep.

He had barely slept for more than three hours when he received a series of urgent calls from Lin Qingci.

After ignoring two of them, Zhang Jingdong finally couldn’t resist and got out of bed to answer the call, ”Hello...”

”Boss Zhang, from the sound of your voice, you haven’t gotten up yet?”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong was a bit grumpy, ”Jealous, aren’t you? This is what having that kind of life looks like.”

”You’re such a big head, are you coming to work today or not?”

”Why? Didn’t I already give you the company’s ten-year development plan yesterday?”

”What do you mean by that?”

”You just need to strictly follow it, and whether I go to the office in the future doesn’t matter.”

”Hey... you just invested one hundred million in the company, is that how much you care?”

Zhang Jingdong nonchalantly said, ”It’s only one hundred million, just a small amount, besides, back then Kongming’s brilliant strategies stabilized the country, and today my plan on paper can also ensure our company’s leapfrog development for the next ten years!”

”Zhang Jingdong, stop talking nonsense. Are you coming to the company or not?”

”I have some questions to ask you, and... since you were so motivational for everyone yesterday, you should symbolically spend more time at the company these days. Even if it’s just for show, it can motivate everyone to work hard, right?”

Zhang Jingdong was a bit speechless, ”President Lin, always remember, the best way to motivate everyone is to give them enough money!”

”As long as you give them enough money based on their performance, even if I’m not there, they’ll still work well. You can rest assured.”

”As for you, what questions do you have? The most crucial ones I’ve already detailed in the documents. If there are others, they should be solvable over the phone!”

”There are quite a few, and it’s hard to explain over the phone. Alright, since you don’t want to come today, I’ll ask you when you come to the office another day.”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong tried, ”If you insist on me going to the office today, that’s fine. You just need to agree to a tiny condition, and I’ll head to the office immediately.”

”Hah... I know what you’re thinking. Don’t even think about it. Come if you want!”

”It’d be best if you never come back even if the company goes bankrupt, so I can take all the money and run!”

Zhang Jingdong burst out laughing, ”Haha... I’d love that. If you really run off with the money, it means you’ve accepted my love, and I can do whatever I want!”

”Zhang Jingdong, you... you’re shameless! I’m never speaking to you again!”

Just as she was about to hang up, Zhang Jingdong hurriedly said, ”Okay, no more teasing. Actually, today I have to go to various schools to interview those part-time internet celebrities.”

”Next week our company is making big moves, so of course, we have to prepare thoroughly in advance!”

”Who are you trying to fool? You only told me yesterday to find people to distribute flyers at universities, how can you be interviewing today, who are you interviewing?”

Zhang Jingdong immediately responded seriously, ”President Lin, always remember, whether in business or everyday life, you must learn to walk on four legs.”

”I asked you to distribute flyers at universities so that proactive people would come, but being proactive doesn’t always mean being distinctive or capable.”

”Because many truly talented and distinctive people might have very introverted personalities, so they can only be discovered through other channels, understand?”
