An Lu saw the other person walking away, and immediately said with a shamed face: ”Hmph, it’s all your fault, she must have seen us just now!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and shook his head: ”Don’t worry, she definitely won’t dare to talk nonsense.”

An Lu wasn’t really angry, and she thought Zhang Jingdong’s words made sense, so she said: ”Alright, let’s go upstairs!”

After speaking, obviously afraid that Zhang Jingdong would mess around here again, she quickly ran ahead.

Zhang Jingdong watched her graceful and agile figure, swallowed, and then quickly followed her upstairs.

When they arrived at An Lu’s office, the two did not immediately get down to business.

After all, they had been partners for a long time, so they both knew the importance of setting the scene.

An Lu sat solemnly behind her office desk, while Zhang Jingdong sat neatly in the seat opposite her.

”Mr. Zhang, what brings you here today, any directives?”

”Directives? I wouldn’t dare. You’re now Director An, I’ll definitely be more careful when I speak with you in the future!”

”Mr. Zhang, you’re too polite, and I owe my current position all to your initial financial support.”

”Well, since you remember that, I’ll get straight to the point. I’m here today because there’s a very important project I want to discuss with you.”

”Really...” An Lu barely suppressed her embarrassment: ”What aspect is it concerning?”

Zhang Jingdong explained seriously: ”Our company’s project is about the transfer and storage of energy. As everyone knows, every man possesses a very special super energy, which not only can create new human beings but also can endow a person with a unique charm to gain favor from the opposite sex.”

”Our company has hired many experts to research the transfer and storage methods for this energy, which are very creative and easy to operate, so we hope to get a loan from your bank to promote our findings on a large scale.”

”But if you want to secure a large-scale loan, your project must pass our review first. Can you elaborate more on your research findings now?”

Zhang Jingdong sighed at this point: ”Just talking about it might be hard for you to understand. How about I give you a practical demonstration?”

An Lu glanced at the door and then bit her lip slightly: ”...Alright.”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong stood up, about to call Su Man on his phone, but then a sudden inspiration struck, and he thought of something more fun.

He then approached An Lu, grinning and said: ”Call Su Man now.”

An Lu was a bit confused instinctively: ”Why?”

”To set the mood.”

An Lu quickly realized what he was up to and pursed her lips: ”You’re really full of creative ideas... Okay, but if she finds out later, you’ll have to help me explain.”

”Don’t worry, with your acting skills now, she definitely won’t notice!”

An Lu took his ”compliment,” gave Zhang Jingdong a look, then took her phone and dialed Su Man.

The phone rang only twice before Su Man answered: ”An An, are you off work so early today?”

”Not yet, I still have to hang in there for half an hour.”

”Where are you now? Your office?”

”Yeah, you? um...”

”I’m in the bathroom. What happened just now?”

”Nothing... Nothing?”

”That’s not right, why does your voice sound so familiar to me, oh right, you used to sound like this during class!”

”An An, you’re not secretly studying because Mr. Zhang hasn’t been teaching you recently, are you?”

”What... what are you talking about? I’m still at work, how could I?”

”What does work have to do with it? Studying in your office is even more so!”

”And you’re one to talk, you haven’t been attending classes lately either, have you been studying secretly?”

”I definitely haven’t been studying. If I really can’t stand it anymore, I’ll just go find Mr. Zhang directly, because only he can make me enjoy learning.”

”Ah, now that you mention it, I really miss the days when we had classes with Mr. Zhang, that was really... An An, do you remember?”

”...I... I remember...”

”That sounded even more so; what are you actually doing now?”

”I... I was just reminiscing because of you.”

”Okay, I thought Mr. Zhang had gone to see you, and you two were having a class.”

”How could that be possible? We... how could we possibly have a class in the office...”

”How about we both study on our own tonight if Mr. Zhang doesn’t come home?”

”...Let’s just wait for Mr. Zhang... after all, with his profound knowledge, following him... we can learn true knowledge!”

”An An, what are you really doing now? You... something’s not right!”

At this moment, An Lu knew she could hardly keep it a secret any longer, so she quickly hung up the phone.

Zhang Jingdong felt that An Lu’s acting just now was really good, so he gave her a little reward.

”Congratulations, Host, you’ve completed a creative interaction with the target person under special circumstances, and are rewarded with 2 million yuan!”

Afraid that his explanation of the company’s project to An Lu was not clear enough, after the demonstration, Zhang Jingdong went to the window and detailed the entire project’s concept for her again.

Only after An Lu personally experienced what he described as that super energy, did she satisfactorily pass their company’s project review.

”Congratulations, Host, you’ve completed a creative interaction with the target person under special circumstances, and are rewarded with 2 million yuan!”
