Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 356: Chapter 185: An Alternative Punishment for the Two of Them (Large Chapter, Requesting Subscriptions)

Yan Ning and Qin Yu clearly didn’t catch anything wrong with Zhang Jingdong’s ”Join me for a poker game”.

Moreover, as people from Jiangdu, both were quite skilled at playing poker and naturally took their seats beside Zhang Jingdong.

At this point, Zhang Jingdong casually produced a deck of cards, glanced at the two, and said: ”Let’s play ’landlord’, and if you lose, the punishment will be ’truth or dare’. Is that okay?”

Yan Ning and Qin Yu exchanged a look and then nodded their heads.

Although Qin Yu knew Zhang Jingdong could perform magic, she thought that he couldn’t cheat at such a complex game like ’landlord’.

In the first round, Yan Ning became the landlord, with Zhang Jingdong and Qin Yu teaming up.

In the end, Qin Yu was left with a single card, and Zhang Jingdong assisted with a 3, allowing them to win the round.

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong jokingly said: ”Mr. Yan, choose, truth or dare?”

Yan Ning glared at Zhang Jingdong and then said: ”I choose truth.”

Zhang Jingdong then turned to Qin Yu: ”Lawyer Qin, mainly you won, so you ask!”

He played this game just to make them compete against each other so he could find opportunities to benefit from the situation.

Qin Yu was clearly not expecting Zhang Jingdong to pull this move, hesitated for a moment, then said: ”You ask, I’m not really good at this game.”

Zhang Jingdong, holding back a laugh, said: ”This truth game is more fun the closer the relationship, after all, it can prevent lies to the greatest extent.”

Hearing this, Qin Yu couldn’t help but give him a side-eye, then sighed, ”Alright.”

”Mr. Yan, how much do you weigh today?”

Yan Ning immediately smiled and shook her finger at Qin Yu: ”Playing rough, huh? Alright... 50 kg!”

At this time, Zhang Jingdong played the nice guy: ”Mr. Yan, at your height, 50 kg really isn’t heavy. I think you could even gain a bit, and it might make you look even more beautiful!”

Yan Ning rolled her eyes at him: ”Don’t start with me, if I exceed 55 kg, I’d rather die!”

The three exchanged a few jokes, and Zhang Jingdong efficiently shuffled the cards.

In the second round, Qin Yu was the landlord, with Zhang Jingdong and Yan Ning teaming up.

In the end, Yan Ning played two bombs consecutively, which Qin Yu couldn’t beat, followed by a pair of 6s, winning them the round.

Zhang Jingdong then said: ”Qin Yu, your turn to choose.”

Qin Yu hesitated for a moment, then said: ”Alright, I choose truth, too.”

Yan Ning didn’t wait for Zhang Jingdong’s provocation, directly asking: ”When was the first time you got involved with a man? You should understand what I mean by involved!”

Qin Yu shuddered, glanced subconsciously at Zhang Jingdong.

After hesitating for quite a while, she finally responded: ”...yesterday... but he got hurt trying to save me, and then I took him to the emergency room.”

Zhang Jingdong raised his hand: ”I can vouch for her! She absolutely didn’t take advantage of me at that moment!”

Upon hearing this, Yan Ning, Qin Yu, and even He Jieyu, who was nearby, burst into laughter and simultaneously rolled their eyes at him.

The next round began, this time with Zhang Jingdong as the landlord.

After picking up the cards, Yan Ning said to Qin Yu: ”Hang in there, let us win this round and then properly punish this guy!”

Qin Yu, unusually direct, nodded: ”Okay!”

However, Zhang Jingdong first played four Ks, then a pair of jokers, and finally a straight from 8 to Q, winning the round.

Yan Ning and Qin Yu were dumbfounded!

Had it not been for the fact that Zhang Jingdong’s cards were terrible in the previous two rounds and that his cards included a few singles this time, they would have suspected him of cheating!

Zhang Jingdong tapped the table smugly: ”As the landlord winning against two, you two must participate in a dare together!”

Yan Ning and Qin Yu chorused: ”Why?”

Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”Because those are the hidden rules! Also, the landlord, being one against two, is hard enough, okay? Both of you as landlords earlier lost, so naturally, the landlord winning should have some privileges!”

Both somewhat agreed with his reasoning and didn’t want to conflict too much with him at this moment.

So, Yan Ning rolled her eyes: ”Fine, but don’t go too far!”

Zhang Jingdong then spread his hands: ”Don’t you know me? I’m always considerate and respectful towards women.”

”So... how about you two cooperate and dance together, isn’t it noble?”

Yan Ning then exchanged a look with Qin Yu.

Although it felt weird to both, as Zhang Jingdong said, the punishment wasn’t too extreme.

So they both stood up and moved to the open space in front of the table.

Just then, Yan Ning seemed to remember something, turning her head and saying: ”We can dance, but you have to provide us with music!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled freely: ”Sure, no problem... ’Wind Continues to Blow,’ okay?”

”Sure.”

Zhang Jingdong slightly prepared, then started to sing:

I advise you to return early

You say you don’t want to return

Only asking me to hold you

The gentle evening breeze lightly blows

Cooling down the wildfire pile

...

Although Yan Ning knew Zhang Jingdong sang well, this was her first time hearing him sing a Leslie Cheung song, and she was once again stunned by his performance!

While Qin Yu and He Jieyu thought Yan Ning was making it difficult for him to embarrass himself by asking for a song accompaniment,

they didn’t expect him to sing so beautifully and were deeply impressed!

”Congratulations to the host for impressing both targets, reward of 200,000 yuan!”

Especially Qin Yu, who after these two days of interacting with Zhang Jingdong, found that although he liked to take advantages, he genuinely surprised her several times.
