Chapter 179: Chapter 129: Holy Power! Dharma Aspect!

”Absurd.”

Tang Ruobing simply commented.

Ye Mingqiu originally had only a 30% amplification of spiritual energy, so the final strength of his spiritual energy was just 1.3.

Now, he used holy power with a strength of 3 for his spells. Without considering the inherent augmentation effect of holy power on magic, just the basic energy strength itself was a transformation from 1.3 to 3, more than doubling the power.

”Whew~”

Tang Ruobing took a deep breath, carefully watching the target shattered by the Meteor Fire Arrow, analyzing, ”Compared to the Meteor Fire Arrow you used before, the power increased by about 2.7 times, the amplification efficiency is quite terrifying.”

”If I remember correctly, your spiritual energy amplification is 30%, this data has already surpassed the amplification of the basic strength, which means... when using fire element magic, holy power also has an additional enhancement effect.”

She then walked to the target, carefully observing the shattered parts, and while using a special observation spell to analyze the details, she continued, ”There’s a presence of platinum-colored energy residue on the edges of the target, and it seems to have a special effect on the target... it should be the Light Erosion effect.”

”Light Erosion effect?”

”Exactly, although you’re using holy power to form the Meteor Fire Arrow and unleashing a fire attribute attack, the essence of holy power isn’t an attribute-less energy, but rather a special energy with certain light and holy attributes, so some degree of light erosion damage is added during the attack.”

”Mm.”

Ye Mingqiu once again gathered holy power, forming it in his hand, using a simple basic technique to transform the holy power into a fire element, resulting in a burning platinum flame.

The nature of the platinum flame is more stable than the crimson flame made of spiritual energy, and it shines brightly in the process of burning, possessing both holy and light properties, like a flame of blazing light.

He looked up and asked, ”If holy power itself possesses the light attribute, shouldn’t I now be more suited to learn light attribute magic?”

”Correct, but not entirely so.”

”Why?”

”While holy power possesses the light attribute, it also has a more important property, that is, this energy has a much higher stability than spiritual energy, allowing the use of many techniques that cannot be performed with spiritual energy.”

Tang Ruobing said, raising her hand to build a new technique with spiritual energy, constructing pieces of ice and reshaping them into the form of weapons.

She continued, ”See, these are weapons I constructed through spiritual energy, but they aren’t directly formed from spiritual energy; I need to transform the spiritual energy into a more stable ice attribute and then form the weapon shape.”

”Although it’s just an extra step, the difficulty and precision required in using the technique increase several times, which is the limitation of spiritual energy. Even with sufficiently strong spiritual energy, one can directly form weapons to use, but the strength of these weapons is still not comparable to those formed after attribute transformation.”

”But with your holy power, the basic strength and stability are high enough that you can attempt to directly use shaping techniques without attribute transformation.”

”Hmm...”

Ye Mingqiu pondered briefly, then curiously asked, ”By transforming spiritual energy into ice, you can increase the strength of spiritual energy to form weapons. Can my holy power also transform attributes to increase the strength limit?”

”It should be challenging. Spiritual energy can easily be transformed into other attribute energies through techniques due to its lack of stability, allowing its attributes to change, while holy power is different. Its stability is much higher than spiritual energy, making it difficult to transform into other attributes.”

”You might be able to transform holy power to fire attribute using the Meteor Fire Arrow technique because light and fire attributes do not conflict, and even have some correlation, making it easy to succeed, but if it’s another attribute... it may be quite challenging.”

”Mm.”

Ye Mingqiu nodded, then sat on the ground cross-legged to attempt shaping a pure [Shaping] Technique, forming a large amount of holy power into desired shapes.

Light Saber, Light Spear, Light Saber...

Various weapons appeared one by one, and he attempted to wield a Light Saber, slicing through the air with a clear ringing of the sword, cutting out arcs of platinum light.

Not bad! The strength is quite impressive!

Ye Mingqiu smiled, as the weapons formed of holy power had strength comparable to gold-level equipment, meaning as long as he possessed enough holy power, it was equivalent to having unlimited golden-level weapons.

Unlimited weapons!

If I shape thousands of light sabers, could I become a Sword Immortal?

This seems feasible, but doing so would require a considerable amount of holy power, this special energy possesses extremely high potential.

No wonder it’s an S+ talent special energy!

This level of cap is so high!

”I’ll try out holy power myself first, you continue reading,” Ye Mingqiu said.

”Alright.”

Tang Ruobing said no more, quietly returning to the resting area, opening the [Book of Great Magic] to continue her practice.

Developing holy power isn’t difficult because it doesn’t require extra attribute transformation, so when used, one only needs to consider shaping the construct, making it much more convenient to use than spiritual energy, and the strength is higher, which is the advantage of holy power.

However, in terms of maximum potential, holy power not necessarily surpasses spiritual energy, as spiritual energy can be easily amplified through various equipment and talents, while the means and methods to enhance holy power are much more limited.
