Forced to Sell Myself to the Female Lead After Killing the Male Lead

“You... are...?”

Who are you?!

However, before Miss White Yama could finish speaking, the black-haired girl’s knife-hand strike came crashing down on White Yama’s forehead without warning.

“Clang～～”

Following a crisp sound, the tremendous impact instantly shattered the protective sacred battle aura surrounding White Yama. Under that impact, White Yama’s head immediately became dazed...

Although she desperately tried to preserve her consciousness, it was ultimately useless...

In the end,

Miss White Yama rolled her eyes and once again fainted dead away...

Hm? Wait... why say “again”...

......

As Miss White Yama lost consciousness, the powerful sacred battle aura field nearby abruptly collapsed, and everything returned to calm...

The sudden loud noise should have attracted the attention of Xiumu, Yuan’er, and the others in the distance.

Yet both the tremendous noise and the eruption of sacred battle aura seemed to have been blocked by some invisible barrier, preventing them from spreading into the distance at all. Yuan’er continued quietly enjoying the time spent embracing her grandfather and grandmother, completely unaware of the enormous energy disturbance nearby...

——

In the distance, a beautiful black-haired girl stood with her arms crossed over her chest, quietly leaning against the wall of a ruined building. After confirming that the members of Xiumu’s family had not noticed what was happening here, she could not help revealing a satisfied smile.

“Good, good. Spend some time with your family.”

Watching the pink-haired little girl cry tears of joy from the corner of her eye, the black-haired girl—our Miss Yumo—once again revealed a gratified expression.

Originally,

she had thought about helping that child. After all, Yuan’er had only just become a Demon King-Class existence. Since she was still not very skilled at using her power, perhaps the prison guards might bully her.

And the facts proved that Miss Yumo had apparently worried for nothing.

Although Yuan’er’s control over the Shadow of Silence Power could not exactly be called proficient, dealing with these Fifth- and Sixth-Tier prison guards was more than easy enough for her.

While effortlessly defeating the defending troops, she had not taken their lives. She had simply beaten them until blood flowed from their seven orifices, then tossed them onto the ground.

Normally, beings that became Abyss Demons would instinctively be filled with disgust and hostility toward other living creatures.

Yet Yuan’er seemed different?

Once that child calmed down, she still looked just as innocent and lively as before......

This made Miss Yumo extremely satisfied, her ruby-red gemstone eyes filled with delight.

‘Wum~ As expected of one of my children. She’s just as kind and obedient as Shuoyue, Liyu, Karina, and the others~’

Not bad,

not bad~

......

Since Yuan’er could handle those human guards herself, Miss Yumo had no need to intervene. She merely silently ordered the nearby Abyss Demons not to approach this place and not to disturb Yuan’er’s reunion with her grandparents.

Such a wonderful moment should simply be left for that child to enjoy peacefully.

That was Miss Yumo’s plan.

And precisely because of that,

Yumo, who had originally come to find Yuan’er, quietly hid atop the distant ruins and silently watched Yuan’er embracing Xiumu and Avnora.

However, as she watched, Miss Yumo could not help recalling the way Yuan’er had fought earlier.

That familiar method of controlling the Shadow of Silence Power, as well as her movements in battle,

kept reminding Yumo of a familiar figure.

A certain guess could not help emerging in Yumo’s mind:

“For Yuan’er to become familiar with the Shadow of Silence Power this quickly... could it be that she... met... that child?”

After arriving at this conjecture, Miss Yumo narrowed her eyes slightly, revealing a solemn gaze.

However,

for the moment, she did not have much spare energy to concern herself with that issue.

Because an even more troublesome problem was already lying right in front of Miss Yumo.

Namely, what exactly should she do with this Heavenly Apostle young lady......

Returning to her senses,

Miss Yumo looked at the white-haired female knight who had fallen in front of her, face-first into the dirt, completely motionless.

She tilted her head, raised one hand to her chin, and revealed a conflicted expression.

‘This...... enmmm, what should I do with her?’

Yumo’s objective

was to let Yuan’er reunite peacefully with her family and enjoy this warm moment.

After White Yama appeared, Yumo understood very clearly that this Heavenly Apostle young lady would definitely disturb her little daughter’s precious family time.

So, with no better option, she had simply knocked her unconscious with a knife-hand strike......

Considering that trafficker whose head she had previously smashed apart with a single knife-hand strike,

this time, Yumo had exerted her utmost effort to control the amount of strength she used, making sure the strike possessed enough force to knock out a Heavenly Apostle without directly killing her.

The facts proved that Miss Yumo had succeeded.

White Yama had merely fainted and was not in mortal danger.

Enmmm, at least for now......

Additionally,

because Yumo had struck the other party’s Hunyuan acupoint, White Yama should forget the memories from the several minutes before she lost consciousness.

In other words, she would forget seeing Yumo, as well as seeing Yuan’er.

Uh......

assuming Yumo had hit the right spot accurately enough.

Since that was the case, the biggest problem now was what to do with this Heavenly Apostle young lady.

An Eighth-Tier Heavenly Apostle had barely fought at all before mysteriously fainting like this?

That would probably make other people suspicious, wouldn’t it?

And besides,

the sacred battle aura surrounding a Heavenly Apostle was simply far too intense.

It could very easily provoke the vicious instincts of Abyss Demons.

If Yumo simply left this unconscious Heavenly Apostle lying here and walked away, then after she departed, the Abyss Demons passing by later might do all sorts of things to her.

Of course, Skyvault was currently so chaotic that she might also simply get blown to death by some unidentified AoE attack......

Either way, this Miss White Yama seemed to have a fairly good relationship with Mengxi.

Once Mengxi became the Saintess of the Asumos Church, White Yama should become a powerful combat force under the female lead.

Yumo really could not bear to let her inexplicably die here.

Thus, Miss Yumo decided to find somewhere to hide White Yama.

In any case, things between Yuan’er, Marquis Xiumu, and Avnora should be fine even without Yumo watching over them.

And so,

Miss Yumo slowly walked over to White Yama, grabbed this Heavenly Apostle by the ankle, and began dragging her toward the large shelter in the distance like a mop.

However, before she had even taken two steps, Miss Yumo’s brows suddenly furrowed.

Although she was wearing the Veil of Deception and suppressing most of the Shadow of Silence Power within her body, Yumo’s keen senses were still more than enough to detect changes in her surroundings.

At that moment,

a familiar aura suddenly entered Miss Yumo’s perception range and rapidly approached her location.

‘Hm? Her? Why is that girl coming over here?’

That girl

was naturally little Mengxi, the Child of Destiny.

In Yumo’s judgment, when faced with an Abyss Demon invasion on such a massive scale, Mengxi should have been working together with the members of the Asumos Church, doing everything she could to resist the Abyss Demons’ attacks.

But why?

Why was Mengxi, who should have been near the Imperial Palace, suddenly running all the way to the southern part of the city?!

What the hell is going on?!

And this is an Abyss Demon invasion, you stupid girl?!

You actually dare run around alone?!

And you’re even running straight toward a place where a Demon King-Class existence is located?!

Are you seriously not afraid of dying?!

You’re being way too careless about your own safety!

After realizing that Mengxi was once again “messing around,” Miss Yumo could not help puffing out her cheeks.

Her ruby-red eyes practically had the words “I’m unhappy” written all over them.

However, now that she was acting as the young lady of the Black Rose Family, it would not exactly be appropriate for her to scold that girl.

Instead, she needed to think about how she was going to explain why she had appeared here alone, completely safe and sound.

And also the person in her hand......

Glancing at White Yama, whose head had been scraping across the ground for quite some time, Miss Yumo abruptly took a deep breath.

There was no time to hesitate.

Miss Yumo immediately hurled White Yama away with tremendous force.

“Boom~”

She crashed directly into the ruins not far away.

Immediately afterward, countless blood-red butterflies fluttered through the air.

In an instant,

surrounded by the Blood Butterflies, countless broken stones and chunks of rubble swarmed upward and, without another word, buried White Yama beneath the ruins.

A red flash passed.

A barrier that concealed aura was placed over the rubble......

At the same moment all of this was completed, Miss Yumo hurriedly suppressed the Shadow of Silence Power within her body.

The crimson color in her eyes also changed into the azure blue used for her disguise.

Then Miss Yumo hurriedly glared toward several adorable six-headed Abyss Demons not far away.

‘Hey! You guys! Get over here and cooperate with me!’

After receiving Miss Yumo’s order, three Abyss Demons carrying a dense bloody scent poked their “little” heads out from behind the ruins in the distance and stared blankly toward their big sister.

‘Aba aba??’

......

......

A short while later,

accompanied by roaring gusts of wind and intense fluctuations of silver-white sacred battle aura, a dazzling silver light suddenly entered the area where the Skyvault High Court had once stood.

As the white light dispersed, a valiant silver-haired paladin girl appeared standing atop the ruins.

The commotion not far away naturally attracted Mengxi’s attention.

However, after seeing the black-haired figure below currently “locked in battle” with several Abyss Demons,

the silver-haired girl froze.

Her gaze toward the black-haired girl in the distance gradually became complicated.

And after silently staring for quite some time, Mengxi could no longer stop herself from raising a hand to her forehead.

“Sigh......”

That sigh

was filled entirely with speechlessness......
