Forced to Sell Myself to the Female Lead After Killing the Male Lead

Early in the morning,

our Miss Yumo’s mood was somewhat complicated...

Back in the Great Winter Forest, little Mengxi would often act cute and coquettish, insisting on sleeping together with ”Sister Yumo.”

At first, Yumo had agreed.

After all, who could bear to refuse such an adorable child?

Besides, Yumo herself had always been weak against children.

However,

after sleeping together once, Miss Yumo refused to continue serving as the little girl’s body pillow. Instead, after coaxing her to sleep, she would carefully sit on a nearby chair and enter ”statue mode.”

The reason she refused to cuddle with such a cute little girl,

was mainly because...

Little Mengxi’s sleeping posture was simply terrible.

Terrible to an outrageous degree...

After exiting ”statue mode,” Miss Yumo was utterly stunned by the sight before her.

Originally, Miss Mengxi had been hugging her properly on the bed.

Yet somehow, she had rolled together with the blanket and sheets all the way onto the floor...

Previously, Mengxi had been hugging her neck.

But now?

Mengxi had somehow completely changed directions and ended up hugging her thigh instead.

Like a sloth, she wrapped herself around Yumo’s body. One warm, fair, slender and beautiful leg tightly clamped around her waist, while those delicate white feet had somehow ended up right in front of her face...

Should she say she really was the Child of Destiny?

Even her little feet carried a unique fragr—

Eh?

Ah, ptooey! What am I thinking?!

Shaking away the strange thoughts in her mind, Miss Yumo helplessly looked at the incomparably beautiful silver-haired girl clinging to her like an octopus.

However,

the moment she lowered her head, Yumo’s azure eyes contracted slightly.

Because,

due to their position, as soon as she looked down, Miss Mengxi’s white cotton panties entered her field of vision.

Although she had already seen Mengxi’s underwear many times before, and had even personally changed her underwear over the past few days,

seeing such a fragrant scene first thing in the morning still made Yumo’s little face blush slightly.

Her brows furrowed.

’Seriously...’

She’s the Child of Destiny.

Such a beautiful and adorable existence.

How could her sleeping posture be this awful?!

And also,

what exactly happened last night?!

How did things end up like this?!

Miss Yumo couldn’t help but scream internally.

However,

she could only force herself to adapt to the current situation.

After all, this wasn’t the Great Winter Forest.

Her current identity was that of a ”weak” slave girl.

If she wanted to remain beside the heroine, she had to act the part properly.

Resistance could only be for show.

Therefore,

considering that Mengxi would probably continue treating her like a body pillow in the future, she had better get used to this kind of life quickly...

Still,

if she remained completely motionless while being wrapped up like this, wouldn’t it seem too fake?

Thinking this, Yumo began her ”struggle.”

Naturally, in order not to arouse Mengxi’s suspicion and expose her identity, she carefully controlled her strength to remain within the range of a little girl.

However,

that amount of force was enough to ”wake up” the heroine.

Sensing the little girl’s struggle in her arms, the silver-haired girl’s body trembled slightly as she slowly opened her sleepy eyes.

After releasing Yumo’s thigh, Mengxi crawled over to her, her smooth silver hair brushing across Yumo’s face.

”Good morning, little one~”

As she spoke, Mengxi rose to her feet and stretched lazily in delight.

Afterward, her pale violet eyes settled meaningfully upon Yumo.

”Come to think of it, little ’sister,’ what’s your name?”

”Hm?”

Having just climbed up from the floor and currently putting on her outer clothing, Yumo froze.

Under normal circumstances,

shouldn’t the first question be where this place was?

Uh...

No, wait.

She probably asked that last night already.

...

Though inwardly puzzled, Yumo chose to answer Mengxi first.

Naturally, she couldn’t tell the truth.

Instead, she used the excuse she had prepared long ago.

”Um, Sister, I... I don’t remember. After those people captured me, I couldn’t remember anything from before...”

”Oh, I see. I understand.”

??

Eh?

Hearing Mengxi’s completely unquestioning response, Yumo couldn’t help but freeze.

She...

She believed it just like that?

Then weren’t all my other excuses prepared for nothing?

Before Yumo could react, Mengxi’s beautiful face suddenly moved right in front of her, causing the latter to retreat several steps.

”Sister?”

”Since you don’t remember, how about I give you a name? What do you think?”

”Mm, I’d love that!”

Yumo said excitedly.

After all, having Mengxi name this disguised identity had always been part of Miss Yumo’s plan.

She couldn’t help feeling happy at how smoothly everything was progressing.

Yet in the next instant, her body suddenly trembled.

”Then, I’ll call you Xiaomo. How about it? Do you like it?”

?!!

T-That name?!

The moment she heard it, Yumo froze.

After all, ”Xiaomo” sounded rather close to her own name.

Could she have been discovered?

Filled with doubt, Yumo slowly raised her head and met Mengxi’s beautiful violet eyes.

Those eyes were filled with sacred purity beyond desecration.

Filled with gentleness and expectation.

There wasn’t the slightest trace of hostility or suspicion.

’Hm? That’s just my imagination, right?’

Yumo comforted herself inwardly.

Then, putting on an act, she revealed a bright and delighted smile.

”Mm!! I like any name Sister gives me!”

Hearing this,

Mengxi smiled.

Then Miss Mengxi looked around the room and outside the window in confusion before deliberately asking the question Yumo had been waiting for all this time.

”Come to think of it, Xiaomo, where are we?”

Upon hearing this question,

Yumo secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

That’s right.

This was the important question.

After taking a deep breath, Miss Yumo began her carefully prepared explanation.

”That day, after Sister collapsed, the soldiers of Wind Facing City...”

...

...

Yumo enthusiastically narrated ”history.”

Meanwhile, Miss Mengxi quietly leaned against the windowsill, silently watching the pink-haired girl before her.

From time to time, she cooperatively asked a few questions.

Within those pale violet eyes, an imperceptible trace of amusement gradually emerged.

And so,

time passed bit by bit.

Eventually, Yumo finished her explanation.

After listening to the pink-haired girl, Mengxi suddenly clasped her hands together and wore an ”I see!” expression.

”So that’s what happened. It really was a close call~”

As she spoke,

Mengxi, now dressed in her tattered knight attire, looked gratefully toward Yumo.

”Then, thank you for taking care of me all this time.”

This time, her words contained genuine sincerity.

”It’s nothing. I should have.”

Yumo revealed a sweet smile.

At that moment,

Miss Yumo frowned slightly.

Although all her power remained under suppression, she could still perceive the surrounding situation.

Several overbearing Holy Aura presences had entered her sensory range.

A few seconds later,

Mengxi also knitted her brows and looked displeasedly toward the bedroom door.

The next moment—

”BOOM!!”

”Miss Mengxi! Are you alright?!”

Accompanied by a deep roar filled with anxiety, the bedroom door burst open.

A man nearly two meters tall, built like a bull and possessing dazzling red hair like that of a Saiyan, barged directly into Mengxi’s room.

Behind him were several knights of the Asumos Church, along with a panting priestess.

Judging from the emblem on the red-haired man’s chest and the dense Holy Aura surrounding him,

it wasn’t difficult to determine that he was one of the Ten Earth Apostles of the Asumos Church.

Upon entering the room, the fiery man looked at the incomparably beautiful silver-haired woman standing by the window with eyes overflowing with excitement and ecstasy.

At the same time, he noticed the pink-haired girl beside her.

And when his gaze fell upon the slave mark on the girl’s ankle,

his expression instantly became one of disgust and disdain.

”What kind of trash is this?! How dare a filthy thing appear inside the Child of Destiny’s room?! Get lost!”

As he spoke,

a terrifying Holy Aura erupted from within his body, crashing toward the ”frail” pink-haired girl like an overwhelming tidal wave.

Clearly,

the red-haired man hated slaves and didn’t even want to touch one.

Therefore, he intended to use the pressure wave to blow the pink-haired girl away.

Realizing this, Miss Yumo pursed her lips.

Wait...

Come to think of it,

’Should I pretend to be blown away?’
