Forced to Sell Myself to the Female Lead After Killing the Male Lead

Looking at the girl whose power had been exhausted and who had fallen into a deep coma, Liyu slightly narrowed her eyes.

She understood why her sister wanted to tear this woman apart.

After all, outside Garos Fortress, it was precisely this woman who had caused her sister no small amount of trouble. Her sister wanting revenge was only natural.

Actually,

Liyu also hated this kind of top combat force of the Asumos Church, this existence that might threaten Mother in the future. If given the opportunity, Liyu would kill this Heavenly Apostle without hesitation!

Just not now...

White Yama was someone Mother had decided to bring back, so she couldn’t act on her own.

Therefore,

she could only leave her alive for now.

Thinking that, Liyu slowly turned her head toward several terrifying seventh-tier Abyss Demons beside her, creatures with the appearance of flying dragons and overwhelming auras.

“Watch her.”

“Hiss~”

Upon receiving Liyu’s order, the five seventh-tier Abyss Demons responded in unison.

“Mm.”

Seeing this, Liyu carried her sister, who was still baring her teeth and grimacing, and left the cave.

The moment she stepped outside, she rapidly unfolded the gray wings hidden beneath her clothes and transformed into an emerald streak of light that shot toward home.

Right now,

compared to guarding White Yama, she was far more concerned about what had happened to Mother...

You were fucking with me after all!!!

Eastern Great Winter Forest, inside the wooden house~

At this moment,

Liyu had already rushed into Mother’s room together with her husky-fied sister. Yumo’s scream just now had made both of them extremely uneasy...

And then,

when the two saw the scene inside,

they froze on the spot as expected.

Turned to stone.

Ah...

Just what the hell was going on?!

Liyu couldn’t help roaring in her heart.

At this moment, Yumo was kneeling on the fur carpet, while a certain silver-haired girl with a radiant smile was happily lying on Mother’s lap, affectionately rubbing against Yumo’s soft, fair thighs...

So jealous. I want that too...

Eh?!

No, this isn’t the time to be jealous!

W-What’s with this woman?!

Seeing this scene, Liyu was utterly dumbfounded.

As for Limo beside her, she was the same...

Well, no, this one was dumb to begin with...

(Limo: Believe it or not, I’ll bite you to death?!!)

Liyu’s eyebrows twitched wildly.

What the hell is the heroine doing?!

A few hours ago, she was fighting Mother with swords drawn!

Why was she hugging Mother so intimately now?!

And what happened to being unconscious?!

Stop fucking sitting up from the dead all the time, alright?!

Saiboke-Baniya, damn you!

The gray-haired girl let out a hysterical roar in her heart. She even resorted to vulgar words she hated using most. Her hand, which was pressing on the little white wolf’s back to stop Limo from acting impulsively, unconsciously tightened.

Immediately causing the little white wolf to let out a pitiful cry and innocently look at her younger sister.

“Awooo! Aw aw aw!” (Why are you pinching me?! It hurts, hurts, hurts!)

Unfortunately,

Liyu had no time to care about her silly sister’s protests.

Her emerald eyes had already locked firmly onto the silver-haired girl.

Watching the intimate movements between her and Mother, a flame of jealousy suddenly ignited in Liyu’s heart.

As the saying goes,

anger rises from the heart, evil grows from the gall!

Driven by her displeasure, the Shadow of Silence Power inside Liyu gradually became restless.

Fortunately,

among the Demon Kings, Liyu possessed rather strong self-control. After a fierce internal struggle, she managed to stabilize her emotions.

After all, Mother was watching.

It really wasn’t the time to act rashly...

Must endure...

Suppressing the urge to scream internally, Liyu’s expression returned to its usual calm. A well-behaved smile appeared on her lovely face.

“Mother, um... what’s going on? Why is she suddenly sticking so close to you?”

“Awoo woo woo!”

The little white wolf beside her echoed in agreement.

Although she had entered idiot mode, seeing someone else being affectionate with her mother still made Limo instinctively bare her teeth and release threatening growls.

Seeing Liyu’s puzzled expression and the little white wolf’s snarling appearance, Yumo could only let out a helpless sigh.

Honestly,

she wasn’t too sure herself.

Although she had asked Saiboke-Baniya again, it still felt unreliable...

“Sigh, I don’t really know either. According to Saiboke-Baniya, this is some kind of Heraz trance phenomenon.”

“Huh? W-What the heck?”

“Apparently it’s some term from soul studies. Umm... basically, people whose soul power is exhausted might wake up during recovery, and during that period, they can inexplicably enter a childlike state. Anyway, it’s an extremely low-probability event...”

“Childification? In other words, this girl now has the mind of a child?”

Liyu looked at Mengxi with a strange expression.

In response,

Yumo sighed again.

“Yeah, she’s basically no different from a child.”

As she spoke, Yumo gently brushed aside Mengxi’s silver hair and softly caressed her tender, fair face.

Feeling Yumo’s touch,

Mengxi, who was lying on Yumo’s lap enjoying her pillow, slowly opened her eyes and blinked curiously at Yumo.

Her eyes were filled with innocence and kindness, as clear as mirrors, naturally evoking affection.

“What’s wrong, Sister Yumo?”

Mengxi raised her head and asked in an adorable voice like a flowing stream.

The moment she heard that, Yumo felt her heart melting.

“N-Nothing. It’s just... my lap might not be comfortable. Why don’t you sleep on the bed? It’ll be more comfortable there.”

Hearing that,

Mengxi immediately puffed out her cheeks, visibly putting on an unhappy expression as she vigorously shook her head.

“No! No! Sister Yumo’s lap is more comfortable!”

As she spoke,

she stubbornly lay back on Yumo’s lap like a spoiled child.

“See? Just like a kid...”

Yumo helplessly spread her hands and looked at Liyu.

As for Liyu,

she was already gritting her teeth, veins bulging on her forehead!

Ever since entering Mother’s room,

she felt her blood pressure constantly rising.

And now, it had nearly reached ✧ NоvеIight ✧ (Original source) the point of explosion!

Her eyebrows twitched wildly.

For hundreds of years, she didn’t think she’d ever been this furious!

You woman!

What the hell is wrong with you?!

You’re even calling Mother ’Sister’?!

Who the hell is your sister?!

Don’t randomly claim relatives!

And if you call Mother ’Sister’...

Doesn’t that fucking make you a whole generation above us for no reason?!

How could that be allowed?!

No!

I refuse to acknowledge it!

Filled with anger, Liyu unconsciously tightened her grip again, causing Limo to cry out for the second time. The little white wolf immediately looked at her younger sister in terror and instinctively retreated into the corner, trembling.

Seeing this, several question marks instantly appeared above Yumo’s head.

“Limo, what’s wrong?”

“No! Mother, forget that for now!”

Liyu immediately stood in front of Yumo and solemnly asked:

“Mother, even if this woman has become childlike, you absolutely can’t let her call you Sister!”

“Huh? Then what should she call me?”

“Of course, Lady Yumo! And this child possesses dangerous power! Mother, don’t let her get so close to you!”

“Uh...”

This child...

She’s serious...

Meeting her daughter’s serious emerald eyes and hearing her slightly emotional words, Yumo became speechless.

After struggling for a while, she slowly raised her hand, patted Liyu’s little head, and comforted her softly:

“It’s alright. This child doesn’t have even the slightest trace of Holy Magic left. She can’t hurt me.”

Um,

even if she did...

with my current strength, she couldn’t hurt me anyway...

Yumo inwardly complained.

“And forget about ’Lady Yumo.’ Sister is fine. I think it’s nice.”

“B-But!”

“Alright, Liyu, be good~”

“Uuuu~”

“Sigh.”

After Yumo’s head-patting comfort session, Liyu finally calmed down and lowered her head in silence, no longer making a fuss.

Seeing this,

Yumo finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Honestly,

although being called Sister by the heroine was somewhat embarrassing, it was still better than another title.

Recalling how Mengxi had clung to her in the beginning, constantly calling her Mommy and asking for milk, Yumo shivered all over, her feelings indescribably complicated.

Now that she had finally managed to soothe Mengxi, Sister was fine. It was just a form of address. Whatever...

The important question was,

what exactly should she do now?

How was she supposed to handle this childlike heroine?

Looking at the night that was gradually enveloping the forest outside the window, Yumo’s heart was filled with worry.

Across from her, Liyu was much the same.

The gray-haired girl quietly stared at the floor, deep in thought.

For a brief moment, the room fell completely silent.

Even the usually lively little white wolf had curled up in the corner, quietly watching her mother and younger sister without understanding anything.

’Mew~’

...

...

And while Yumo and the others were all immersed in their thoughts,

none of them noticed

that the corners of the silver-haired girl’s lips, as she lay on Yumo’s lap,

had already curled upward ever so slightly.
