Forced to Sell Myself to the Female Lead After Killing the Male Lead

Saiboke-Baniya!

Don’t think that just because you’re old I won’t spank your butt!

And you were even speaking so confidently!

Can you be reliable for once?!

Miss Yumo furiously cursed Saiboke-Baniya in her heart.

After venting for a bit, she focused her attention on Mengxi again.

After all, the biggest problem now was how to deal with this girl...

Looking at the silver-haired girl on the bed who had opened her eyes once more, Yumo immediately assumed a defensive posture, raising her guard to the maximum and staring vigilantly at Mengxi, afraid that the Child of Destiny would suddenly pounce on her again like last time.

I’ve already been pinned down twice!

Twice!

If it happens again,

I’ll completely lose face as the final boss!

This time I absolutely have to protect my dignity! If this brat dares to come at me again, I’ll pin her down and spank her until her butt splits open! I’ll let her know who’s the boss around here!

Thinking this, waves of crimson Shadow of Silence Power slowly rippled around Yumo.

Naturally, this power wasn’t for defense.

Instead, it was used to limit her own physical strength and suppress her body’s instinctive counterattack.

After all, she couldn’t accidentally hurt the heroine while disciplining her, right?!

After restricting her strength, Yumo struck a pose like Ip Man and raised her hands in preparation.

”Hey, I’m warning you! Don’t mess around! I-I’m not easy to deal with, you know! ...Hm?”

However,

After maintaining her defensive stance for quite a while, the attack she expected from Mengxi never came.

Hm?

Did I scare her last time?

Wait, that doesn’t make sense. Didn’t Saiboke-Baniya say she wouldn’t retain her memories? Then why isn’t she charging at me like before?

Could it be...

Could it be that old man messed up again?

Miss Yumo felt somewhat bewildered.

Thus,

She cautiously and suspiciously watched the silver-haired girl before her.

The next moment,

Under Yumo’s astonished gaze, the incomparably beautiful silver-haired girl in her white lace nightdress slowly sat up and quietly supported herself with both hands on the bed, silently looking at Yumo.

During the process,

Because of her bold posture, Yumo could vaguely make out the pair of snowy peaks beneath the lace nightdress.

Her face unconsciously reddened.

Although she’d already seen those buns several times, the way the secret areas were partially obscured by lace and occasionally revealed somehow made them even more alluring, causing a wave of warmth to flood Yumo’s heart.

However, that wasn’t the important part.

The important thing was—

Mengxi’s eyes.

They were completely different from before.

Gone was the killing intent and coldness.

Gone was the sacred dignity of the Child of Destiny.

The current Mengxi...

Those pale purple eyes were utterly spotless.

Filled with innocence?

Like...

Like an innocent child?!

Looking at those beautiful watery eyes, Yumo gradually relaxed and lowered her guard before cautiously approaching.

”Um, Mengxi? Miss Mengxi?”

Her voice was no longer filled with warnings but instead had become gentle and friendly.

However, after hearing Yumo’s voice,

Cute little Mengxi didn’t respond at all.

She merely widened those beautiful, pure pale-purple eyes and blinked as she stared at Yumo.

After several seconds of silent eye contact,

Mengxi seemed to have confirmed something.

Suddenly, stars burst forth from her eyes!

She appeared extremely happy and excited.

A heart-melting smile blossomed upon her beautiful face, bright and moving, like a lotus emerging from water or peach blossoms kissed by rain.

It directly tugged at Yumo’s heartstrings, giving the black-haired girl the irresistible urge to pull Mengxi into her arms and squeeze her tightly.

Her heart was practically melting.

The reason was simple.

Because—

The current Mengxi was just too damn cute!!

Wait?!

Could it be that this heroine was trying to lower my guard through sheer cuteness?!

And just then,

Under Yumo’s unprepared gaze, Mengxi suddenly leapt off the bed and threw herself at her without hesitation!

Thus,

The plum blossoms bloomed for the third time.

Yumo was pinned to the floor by Mengxi once again!

?!!

You!

You shameless heroine!!

Using... using cuteness?!

Huh?!

At that moment, Miss Yumo frowned and looked at the silver-haired girl lying on top of her in confusion.

Although she’d been tackled again, this time Mengxi showed no hostility whatsoever.

Instead, she affectionately hugged Yumo’s waist and buried her cute little head into Yumo’s chest.

Well...

Because of a certain someone’s bun size, she couldn’t bury herself completely...

After rubbing against Yumo’s chest and turning someone’s face bright red,

Mengxi slowly raised her head and revealed a brilliant, utterly defenseless smile, excitedly looking into Yumo’s eyes.

Then,

Under Yumo’s utterly dumbfounded gaze, Mengxi slowly opened her alluring cherry lips and spoke a single word that caught Yumo completely off guard.

”Mommy!!”

”...”

The room instantly fell silent enough to hear a pin drop.

Meanwhile, Yumo herself felt as though she had been struck by lightning.

Her brain crashed completely.

Only after several moments did the girl recover, revealing an expression akin to ”I’ve seen a ghost.”

”Huh?!! W-W-What?! W-What is this now?!!!”

For a time,

The girl’s ”tragic scream” echoed throughout the Great Winter Forest.

Meanwhile,

Inside a cave not far from the wooden house, several powerful seventh-tier Abyss Demons were quietly lying on the ground.

Among them,

One particularly eye-catching figure was a delicate gray-haired little girl.

Naturally, this girl was none other than Miss Liyu, who had just finished bathing.

Beside her was the silly-mode little white wolf, Limo.

After her bath, Liyu had changed into a new outfit specially selected for her by Yumo.

At the moment, she wore a jade-green embroidered top adorned with pale pink lotus flowers, with a long floral skirt trailing behind her. A mist-green veil draped from her arms, while her hair was styled beautifully and decorated with an exquisite ribbon.

She resembled an adorable little fairy.

Upon hearing Yumo’s miserable scream coming from the wooden house, Liyu frowned.

Somewhat puzzled, she looked in the direction of the house.

Hm??

’Did something happen to Mother again?!’

Just as Liyu was wondering,

The little white wolf beside her suddenly bared her fangs and claws under the guidance of instinct and lunged forward without hesitation!

The instant she sensed her sister’s movement, Liyu’s emerald eyes narrowed.

Transforming into a streak of jade-colored light, she appeared behind Limo and tightly hugged the little white wolf in her arms.

”Big Sister!! Stop it!”

”Awoooooo!! ┗|｀O′|┛ Awoo~~!”

”No means no!”

”Awooo!”

”No eating! If you keep making a fuss, I won’t talk to you anymore!”

”Wuuuu~~”

Hearing Liyu’s warning, the little white wolf lowered her head dejectedly and let out pitiful whimpers.

Seeing that her sister had calmed down, Liyu finally sighed in relief.

Then,

The gray-haired girl thoughtfully turned toward the white-haired woman imprisoned within the cave.

The woman whom they had captured earlier—

White Yama.
