One Piece: Collective Viewing of the Future, Starting from God Valley

Chapter 215: Chapter 215: Big Mom Looks So Pathetic

...

Kaido was shocked.

As fellow Emperors of the Sea who had dominated the seas together for decades, he had never before witnessed with his own eyes his ally—Charlotte Linlin, also one of the Yonko...

Actually being knocked out of the sky by a group of ”juniors” in a manner that was almost playful...

This was the first time!

The massive boulder, carrying the severed giant horn of Onigashima, smashed toward Big Mom, who was temporarily restrained by magnetism.

In that instant, time seemed to stretch.

Kaido could see the shock and fury in Big Mom’s eyes. He could see her desperately trying to summon her Homies. He could see her lips moving as she shouted something...

But at this moment, he was far too distant from Big Mom.

Having lost Zeus and lost Prometheus’s ability to carry her through the air, this queen who once rode through the skies was now no different from any ordinary person falling.

”Mama!”

Zeus’s wail came from within the iron box. It frantically slammed against the metal cage. Lightning repeatedly exploded inside the narrow space, yet it could never break free from the ”seal” Kid had meticulously designed.

Prometheus could no longer respond to its master’s call. Zoro’s ”Flame Slash” had severed the integrity of its flame form.

At this moment, it could only scatter through the air as countless tiny sparks. It would take at least several minutes to reform.

As for Napoleon—the Emperor Sword that carried Big Mom’s soul—it was spinning aimlessly in mid-air after being interfered with by Killer.

Thus, under the gaze of everyone... including countless spectators both inside and outside the light screen, Big Mom’s enormous body plummeted like a meteor and finally slammed heavily into the raging waves below Onigashima.

BOOM!!!

Massive waves shot into the sky, reaching dozens of meters high.

The seawater crashed with deafening roars.

Atop Onigashima, Kid stood at the edge of the cliff, looking down at the churning sea below, and let out a harsh, arrogant laugh.

”Hahahahahaha!! So this is a Yonko?! Can’t even stay in the air, and you still call yourself an Emperor of the Sea?!”

Kid’s laughter echoed in the wind. Every syllable was filled with undisguised contempt and provocation.

This laughter was even more arrogant, more unrestrained, and even more... youthful than Big Mom’s signature laugh.

It was the new era mocking the old era.

”Kid boss, don’t get too cocky.”

Law spoke calmly, lightly tapping Kikoku against the ground. ”She won’t be taken out that easily.”

”I know...”

Kid stopped laughing, but the corner of his mouth was still stretched wide. ”That’s exactly why we have to take this chance to completely destroy this old hag’s ’toys.’”

He turned to look at Zeus, who was still struggling inside the iron box. A cold metallic glint flashed through his eyes.

Inside the iron box, Zeus had fallen into a half-crazed state.

It kept releasing lightning, trying to destroy the cage from within. However, Kid’s magnetic field not only physically restrained it, but also interfered with its very nature as a ”thundercloud Homie” on some level.

The lightning’s power was greatly weakened within the magnetically distorted space.

”Let me out! Mama needs me! Let me... ugh!”

Another magnetized metal fragment flew into the box and smashed heavily into Zeus’s ”face.”

Although Homies had no physical body, this pure energy impact still caused it to roll over in pain.

”Shut up.”

Kid spat and then looked down at the raging waves below, where Big Mom’s whereabouts were unknown, and said, ”Your ’Mama’ is currently taking a bath at the bottom of the sea.”

Outside the light screen, in God Valley.

Big Mom’s face had already turned as black as the bottom of a pot.

She stared fixedly at the ”herself” falling into the sea on the light screen. Her massive fists clenched so tightly they creaked.

The surrounding pirates tactfully backed away. Everyone could see that this future Yonko was on the verge of exploding.

What irritated her the most was the undisguised mocking laughter coming from Kaido beside her.

”Wororororo!”

The young Kaido still couldn’t hold it in and burst out laughing. ”Linlin, did you see that?! The future you was actually being played around with by a bunch of brats...

”And you actually lost those things and can’t even fly anymore?!”

”Shut up, Kaido!”

Big Mom’s voice was squeezed out from between her teeth. The displeasure in her eyes had almost materialized.

”Mam-ma-ma-ma-ma~”

She tried to use her signature laugh to cover her embarrassment, but the laughter clearly sounded stiff. ”That must have been... must have been some kind of accident! Yes, an accident!”

At this moment, a timid voice came from the side.

”Mama... that, that wasn’t on purpose...”

Everyone turned their heads and saw the young Zeus. Its cloud-like body was twisting uneasily at this moment.

Although that was its future self, seeing the scene of ”Mama” falling into the sea made a strange sense of guilt well up inside Zeus.

Big Mom lowered her head to look at Zeus. Her expression softened slightly. ”Mam-ma-ma-ma~ Zeus, of course this wasn’t your fault.”

But immediately after, her gaze turned dangerous again. ”However, I am still very curious. Why did the future you end up in that ’Little Thief Cat’ Nami’s hands?”

This question truly startled Zeus.

”I, I...”

Zeus’s cloud body began to tremble irregularly. ”I must have... must have been bewitched! Yes! Bewitched by that cunning human woman!

Or... or maybe Mama, you gave, gave me to her? Hehe...”

Zeus tried to muddle through with a dry laugh, but even it couldn’t convince itself with this explanation.

”Zeus, you idiot!”

Prometheus shouted from the side in frustration. ”Didn’t you see on the light screen that the Straw Hat brat caused a huge ruckus at our place before?! How could Mama possibly give a Homie to an enemy?!”

”That’s right, that’s right!”

Napoleon also joined in the scolding. ”You brain of yours—only brightens up when eating snacks. The rest of the time it’s just a complete mess!”

Being scolded in turn by its two ”partners,” Zeus completely wilted.

It shrank into a tiny ball of cloud and hid behind Big Mom, not daring to say another word.

In truth, Zeus knew very well that Big Mom would never willingly give it to someone else.

As one of the earliest Homies she had created, it was an extension of Big Mom’s ability and the embodiment of her will.

Losing Zeus meant Big Mom lost her most convenient means of aerial movement and her most flexible long-range attack method.

But the ”future” version of itself had indeed ended up in the hands of an enemy.

What did that mean?

Zeus didn’t dare to think deeper...

The scene on the light screen continued.

After Big Mom fell into the sea, the surface of the water showed a brief moment of calm.

But everyone knew this calm wouldn’t last long. If a Yonko could be dealt with so easily, that would be too ridiculous.

Sure enough, roughly half a minute later, the sea surface suddenly churned violently.

A massive figure broke through the waves and reappeared in the air!

It was Prometheus...

Big Mom was a Devil Fruit user. If she wasn’t rescued in time, she would definitely die!

Fortunately, at the last moment, Kaido rescued her in time. Prometheus and Napoleon regained their ability to move and carried Big Mom on their backs!

”You... these damned brats...”

Big Mom’s entire body trembled. Every word sounded as if it had been squeezed out from the depths of hell.

Her three major Homies were currently in different situations. Zeus was still trapped inside the iron box.

Prometheus had barely regained part of its form, but its flames were clearly much dimmer.

Although Napoleon had returned to her hand, the luster on the blade also appeared dull.

Kid’s laughter had already stopped.

He narrowed his eyes and looked at Big Mom, who had returned. The magnetic field on his mechanical arm began operating at an even higher frequency.

”Prepare to welcome the second round, old hag.”

He licked his lips. ”This time, I won’t give you another chance to get back up.”

On the other side, Zoro was kneeling on one knee, panting heavily.

That ”Flame Slash” just now had almost exhausted all of his stamina. The feeling of being completely drained made his vision go dark in waves.

But he couldn’t fall.

Luffy was still fighting Kaido. Law had just been sent flying by Kaido again. If he collapsed here, the balance of the entire battle could tilt in an instant.

Outside the light screen, everyone fell into deep thought.

The short few minutes of battle just now had exposed many problems.

Not only Big Mom’s weakness, but also the predicament that all powerhouses who relied on ”external forces” might face.

”Although Homies are powerful, they are ultimately external objects.”

Silver Axe spoke in a deep voice. ”When these ’external forces’ are stripped away, how much strength the main body has left—that is the key.”

He looked at his own axe. It was incredibly sharp, but it had always been just a ”tool.”

His true strength came from the physical techniques and power he had tempered for decades, not from this axe.

Kaido also nodded at this moment and put away his mockery. ”Linlin relied too much on her Homies.

”Zeus, Prometheus, Napoleon—they are indeed important components of her strength. But when she loses them, her combat system will have fatal flaws.”

”However...”

Shiki added temporarily. ”Those brats’ tactics were truly brilliant. They didn’t win through brute force, but through wisdom, coordination, and precise grasp of the enemy’s weaknesses.”

This was what truly shocked the powerhouses present the most.

Kid, Law, Zoro, and Killer—any one of them facing Big Mom alone would have had no chance of winning.

But when they united and each played to their strengths, they actually managed to temporarily suppress a Yonko.

This was not merely the stacking of power, but the stacking of ”possibilities.”

”New era...” Garp muttered to himself, his expression complicated.

He saw Luffy. He saw the light that these young people burst forth with in desperate situations. They might not be mature enough yet. They might still be too inexperienced. But they possessed something that the powerhouses of the old era were gradually losing...

The courage to break conventions, and the determination to create the ”impossible.”

On the light screen, the battle had entered a new phase.

At this moment, Zoro still wanted to ask Law what the plan was, but Law said he had already given up on any plan. What would follow would be a fight to the death!

If there was still a plan, someone would definitely have to be sacrificed. In that case, it would be better to just announce failure from the start...

Kaido looked at everyone, then the corner of his mouth twitched. He turned his head and focused his attention on Luffy. These people were nothing but a disorganized mob.

Zoro was heavily injured and posed no threat. As for Law, Kid, and Killer—Kaido had never taken them seriously from beginning to end.

But just as everyone turned their heads, they witnessed a scene that sent chills down their spines. Luffy’s eyes had rolled back at some point, and he had fainted!

This scene shocked everyone. They had no idea when Luffy had been injured. They hadn’t noticed anything on this side at all!

However, their battle had not been without effect. Kaido had also sustained a lot of damage. He was starting to pant...

Seeing that Kaido didn’t take him seriously at all, Kid truly got angry. Although he acknowledged Luffy’s strength, Kaido’s attitude also ignited his fighting spirit!
