I am using hacks in cultivation world

Half a month later.

The team had already cleared most of the assigned area.

Over the past fifteen days, they had hunted almost every low-level beast in the region. Whenever they discovered traces of beasts, they would carefully investigate the surroundings and then deal with them one by one.

There were also several occasions when they encountered Intermediate Beasts.

However, none of them were foolish enough to fight those beasts.

Whenever an Intermediate Beast appeared, Mo Shan would immediately order everyone to retreat. They would record the location and send the information back to the Yan Family. The Yan Family would then send a stronger team to deal with the Intermediate Beast.

After the stronger team arrived, the Intermediate Beast would usually be eliminated quickly.

This was also the reason the Black Fang Team had managed to complete their mission without suffering any serious injuries.

During the day, they would go out to hunt and clear the area. At night, they would return to their camp, eat some Beast meat, discuss the events of the day, and then rest.

After spending so many days together, the five of them had gradually become much closer.

At first, Mo Yuan had only regarded them as temporary teammates but after fifteen days of fighting and traveling together, he had started to see them as friends.

Right now, it was the final day of their mission.

The area assigned to them had been almost completely cleared. There were no more low-level beasts worth hunting, and the remaining Intermediate Beasts had already been reported to the Yan Family.

Their mission was officially complete.

Now, they had two choices.

They could return to the Yan Family’s gathering point, report the completion of their mission, and accept another area to clear or they could simply return to Dong Hai Base.

After fifteen days of hunting, they had already accumulated quite a lot of resources. They were also tired and wanted to return home.

Inside the camp, everyone was packing their things.

Mo Yuan sat nearby, silently watching them.

’These guys aren’t bad.’

After transmigrating into this world, Mo Yuan had spent most of his time cultivating and hunting alone. He had never really made any genuine friends.

Even in his previous life on Earth, he had been an introverted person who wasn’t good at socializing but working with the Black Fang Team for these fifteen days had changed that slightly.

They had fought together, eaten together, traveled together, and even joked around during their breaks.

For Mo Yuan, this was actually a pretty good experience.

He had realized that constantly cultivating alone wasn’t necessarily a good thing. Having a few people to talk to was also important.

Mo Shan finished packing his things and looked around.

”Everyone, I think this should be enough. We’ve already cleared this area, and we’ve accumulated quite a lot of resources. There’s no need to stay here any longer.”

Ha Fei immediately nodded.

”I agree. I’m exhausted. I want to sleep for at least two days when I get back.”

Yin Yue laughed.

”You’re always tired.”

”What? We’ve been hunting for fifteen days straight. Of course I’m tired!”

Ha Fei complained.

Everyone laughed.

Mo Yuan also smiled.

Mo Shan then turned toward him.

”Brother Mo Yuan, what about you? Will you come back with us, or are you planning to continue hunting?”

The others also looked toward Mo Yuan.

After fifteen days of fighting together, they had already gained a good understanding of his strength. Mo Yuan had never shown his full power, but during every battle, he handled the beasts with surprising ease.

Even when they encountered Peak Low-level Beasts, Mo Yuan never seemed nervous. In their eyes, Mo Yuan was most likely a Peak Origin Vessel Realm cultivator.

However, they still felt that his strength might be even higher. At the very least, they had never seen him struggle.

Mo Yuan thought for a moment before answering.

”Yes, I still have something I need to do.”

He looked toward the direction of the wilderness.

”You guys can leave first. I’ll stay here for a while before heading to my destination.”

Mo Shan was slightly surprised.

”You’re going alone?”

”Yes.”

Mo Yuan nodded.

”I have something important to take care of.”

Mo Shan didn’t ask any further.

Everyone had their own secrets, and after working together for fifteen days, they understood this very well.

”Alright then.”

Mo Shan smiled.

”When you come back to Dong Hai Base, don’t forget to contact us”

Ha Fei immediately laughed.

”That’s right. If we meet again, we’ll have another drink together.”

Yin Yue nodded.

”Take care of yourself.”

Mo Chen also smiled.

”Brother Mo Yuan, we’ll see you again.”

Mo Yuan looked at the four of them and smiled.

”Take care of yourselves too.”

The Black Fang Team packed their belongings and prepared to leave.

Mo Yuan watched them walk away.

For some reason, he felt a strange sense of reluctance.

Perhaps this was the first time since arriving in this world that he had truly experienced what it was like to have friends but he quickly put that feeling aside.

Mo Yuan looked toward the distant wilderness.

”Alright, it’s time for me to go too.”

Looking at the map, Mo Yuan carefully checked the distance to his destination.

”Only 30 kilometers left. If I use my full speed, I should be able to reach the area within a day.”

He folded the map and put it away before looking toward the distant wilderness. He had already spent fifteen days working with the Black Fang Team, and now that the mission was over, he no longer needed to hide his true strength from them because they were no longer traveling together.

Without wasting any more time, Mo Yuan immediately activated his speed and rushed toward the direction of the Moonscale Salamander’s habitat.

Whoosh!

His figure shot forward like an arrow.

His speed was far beyond what an ordinary Origin Vessel Realm cultivator could imagine. Trees and rocks quickly passed behind him as he moved through the wilderness at an astonishing speed.

If the members of the Black Fang Team were here and saw Mo Yuan’s current speed, they would probably be completely stunned.

”Let’s hope I can find a Moonscale Salamander quickly.”

Mo Yuan’s eyes flashed with anticipation.

The Moonscale Salamander was the reason he had joined this expedition in the first place. He had spent a great deal of effort just to get information about its location, and he absolutely couldn’t return empty-handed.

As he continued forward, several beasts suddenly appeared in his path.

They were intermediate-level beasts.

If an ordinary Origin Core Realm cultivators encountered them, they would have no choice but to retreat immediately. Even if several Peak Origin Core Realm cultivators worked together, they would still have to be extremely careful but to Mo Yuan, they were nothing.

”Get out of my way.”

Boom!

Mo Yuan punched forward.

The terrifying force instantly smashed the intermediate beast’s head, killing it on the spot.

He didn’t even stop. His figure flashed past the corpse and continued moving toward his destination.

A few hours later, another intermediate-level beast appeared. This time, Mo Yuan didn’t even slow down. He simply swung his saber. A sharp saber light flashed through the wilderness, and the beast fell heavily to the ground.

”Too weak.”

Mo Yuan shook his head and continued forward.

At his current strength, ordinary intermediate-level beasts were no longer much of a threat. Even if several of them attacked him at once, he could easily deal with them.

Only an advanced-level beast could make him somewhat cautious.

Fortunately, he hadn’t encountered one yet.

”If the Black Fang Team saw me hunting intermediate-level beasts like this, they would probably think they were dreaming.”

Mo Yuan couldn’t help but smile.

He had deliberately hidden his strength while working with them. After all, there was no reason to expose his true strength without necessity.

The wilderness was dangerous, and keeping some cards hidden was always a good thing.

He continued traveling at full speed by the time night fell, Mo Yuan had already covered a huge distance. He stopped on top of a large tree and looked toward the distant darkness.

”According to the map, I should be able to reach the area tomorrow.”

Mo Yuan rested for a while before continuing his journey.
