I am using hacks in cultivation world

”Is the news true?” Mo Yuan asked.

”It’s true!” Zang Wei confirmed. ”We saw it from a distance earlier. The students from the First Academy joined forces to fight a three meter Iron Bull, but they failed. By now, even more students should be surrounding and attacking that Iron Bull!”

”Which direction?” Mo Yuan asked.

”Southeast!” Zang Wei pointed.

Whoosh!

Mo Yuan quickly ran off and soon disappeared from sight.

Zang Wei looked at his disappearing back and let out a deep sigh.

”I really thought Mo Yuan was about as strong as me. I never expected him to hide his strength so well. With his talent, becoming an Origin Vessel cultivator in the future is guaranteed. He might even have a chance of reaching the Origin Core realm.”

It would be a lie to say he wasn’t jealous, but jealousy was useless. This was an era that valued talent above everything else. He had trash talent and the highest he could hope to reach in his lifetime was the Early Origin Vessel realm.

”Let’s go. We’re heading back!”

Zang Wei spoke helplessly.

”We’re going back? We’re not hunting feral Beasts anymore?” one student asked unwillingly.

”No. Even if all of us work together, we have no chance of getting Beast Blood. I should have realized it sooner. This so-called trial was never meant for everyone. It’s just an opportunity created by the Six Major Academies for the top students. They only want to produce more Origin Vessel cultivators as quickly as possible. As for weak Origin Seed cultivators like us, do you think those big shots care? No matter how many of us die, they won’t don’t care and won’t lose any sleep over it.”

The other students fell silent, clearly agreeing with him.

This world was cruel. To cultivators, the lives of ordinary people and Origin Seed realm cultivators were worth very little.

This trial was said to be open to everyone, but in reality, it was only a trial, or rather a training ground, for the strongest Origin Seed cultivators.

The seven or eight students walked toward the exit of the small wilderness area with lonely expressions, never looking back.

...

After running for some distance, Mo Yuan stopped.

He was carrying quite a few materials on his back. Although they weren’t very heavy, they would affect him in a real fight. He couldn’t keep carrying them while fighting.

Normally, he had two choices. One was to return to the valley entrance and exchange the materials for points, but going back and forth would waste too much time.

The second option was to hide the materials and collect them when he returned.

”I’ll bury them first.”

Mo Yuan quickly dug a hole, buried all the materials, and carefully covered the spot.

The small wilderness area was huge, so the chances of someone finding them were very low. Besides, ordinary feral Beasts had no interest in these materials.

Once everything was ready, Mo Yuan rushed toward the southeast.

Boom!

The sounds of battle echoed from the distance. Just from the noise alone, it was clear that the fight was extremely intense.

”Could the Pseudo Beast Iron Bull be surrounded again?”

Mo Yuan guessed.

Although a Pseudo Beast was powerful, many of the students this time were at the peak of the Origin Seed realm. If they truly joined forces, even a Pseudo Beast wouldn’t survive.

”I hope I can get there in time.”

Mo Yuan silently hoped.

Thirty seconds later, he arrived, but what he saw was completely different from what he had expected.

”This...”

Mo Yuan’s pupils shrank.

Around a dozen Origin Seed cultivators were surrounding an injured Iron Bull. This wasn’t the three meter Iron Bull Zang Wei had mentioned. It had already grown to five meter long.

”A Beast. This Iron Bull has reached the Beast level, although it’s one of the weakest Beasts.”

Mo Yuan quickly judged the situation.

The strength of a Beast wasn’t measured by its size. This Iron Bull was considered large among Beasts, but its fighting methods were simple, and its strength wasn’t especially high. It was even weaker than an average Beast.

But how had this Iron Bull become a Beast?

Not only was Mo Yuan confused, but the other students were equally surprised.

However, no one had time to think about it. Right now, all they wanted was to kill this Beast Iron Bull.

A Pseudo Beast Iron Bull was worth only 500 points, but a real Beast Iron Bull was worth at least 1,000 points.

More importantly, it was a true Beast. Once it was killed, the Beast Blood inside it would be enough for many students to absorb and refine.

It could be said that every part of this Beast was valuable.

Fortunately, it had only just advanced into a Beast, and its strength wasn’t much greater. Otherwise, these Origin Seed realm students wouldn’t have dared to surround it.

Even so, students kept getting injured and were forced to withdraw from the battle one after another.

Mo Yuan didn’t make a move. He stayed hidden and quietly observed.

About ten minutes later, only five students were still fighting. They were the five geniuses from the First Academy who possessed Superior Grade cultivation talents. Even they were badly injured.

The Iron Bull was in even worse condition. Its body was covered with arrows, and there were many saber and sword wounds across its body. There was even a deep sword wound on its forehead. It looked extremely miserable.

Suddenly...

The Iron Bull activated its Bloodline Power and violently swung its massive body, sending all five students flying.

The next moment, it turned and fled into the distance.

After activating its bloodline, its speed reached that of a normal Low level Beast. Unless someone was an Origin Vessel cultivator, there was no way to catch it.

The students chased after it for a while but quickly realized they couldn’t catch up.

”Damn it! It escaped again. Everyone, keep chasing it! It’s badly injured, so it can’t run very far!”

Hong Yuan shouted unwillingly.

What no one noticed was that another figure had quietly followed behind it.

”Haha, luck is really on my side. After activating my Speed Talent, I’m fast enough to keep up with the Iron Bull.”

Mo Yuan smiled excitedly.

He followed the Iron bull through several twists and turns. Eventually, it dragged its heavily injured body into a cave.

Mo Yuan hesitated for a moment before following it inside.

With his speed, even if something unexpected happened, he was confident he could escape. The cave was very deep and stretched farther and farther underground.

After walking for some time, Mo Yuan finally reached a large cavern.

The Iron bull was there. By now, it was already on its last breath, but it was still slowly crawling toward one corner of the cavern.

Without saying a word, Mo Yuan activated his Speed Talent and repeatedly slashed the Iron bull with his Fine Iron Saber.

Although his attacks weren’t very powerful, the heavily injured snake couldn’t resist any longer.

Before long, it died.

”Time to collect the Beast Blood.”

Mo Yuan didn’t forget the most important thing.

He quickly took out the water bottle hanging from his waist and pierced the Iron bull’s heart. Fresh heart blood slowly flowed into the bottle.

This Iron bull had only recently advanced. Most of the blood in its body was still ordinary fierce beast blood. Only the blood around its heart had fully transformed into pure Beast Blood.

Because of that, Mo Yuan only collected the heart blood and ignored the rest.

Soon, the bottle was completely full, and the heart had no blood left.

”This is enough for five full portions of low-grade Beast Blood.”

”I really hit the jackpot this time!”

Mo Yuan couldn’t hide his excitement.
