All Worlds Beg the Villainess to Act Like a Human

Chapter 833: Chapter 833: Unlucky Twin Sister (62)

She had to think of a way to save the situation in case Chaosi’s mobile phone sales didn’t go well.

No matter how the Zhu Family reacted, Qiann Yan was steadily preparing for the phone launch.

Before the thirtieth, many phone stores across the country had received their stock.

The orders from Ma Yuman alone were quite a few, indicating that the advertisement was very successful.

On the thirtieth, many people had arrived early outside phone stores, all eager to purchase Yanfei’s phones.

As soon as the store doors opened, people rushed in.

As Qiann Yan had anticipated, there were many poor people in this era, but plenty of rich folks as well. Now that communication had become part of life, having a mobile phone made things much more convenient.

According to the statistics, the phones in stores were sold out that very day.

Those who wanted to buy later had to wait for restocking.

The next day marked a new month, and it was the release time for Chaosi phones.

Despite not being able to buy Yanfei Technology Company’s phones, quite a few people still came to check them out. However, once they handled the phones, many hesitated, thinking it wasn’t worth spending roughly the same amount on this phone.

In terms of user experience, plus the built-in small functions and battery life, Chaosi was significantly inferior to Yanfei.

Some people bought them, but those with some knowledge would not choose Chaosi over Yanfei.

In the morning, there were still inquiries about Chaosi phones, but by afternoon, most were asking if major phone stores had Yanfei stock, willing to pay more to reserve one.

Facing cold reception on the first day, Chaosi phones were basically done for; with their current price and value for money, it was hard to sell them.

Within a few days, those who bought Chaosi phones regretted it, with some demanding refunds, causing a lot of commotion.

Later, Chaosi chose to lower prices a bit, but still couldn’t find buyers until they drastically cut prices.

After learning about the first day’s sales, Qiann Yan didn’t pay any more attention and headed back to the lab to keep herself busy.

Linn Huai was now a college student, his first-year classes quite full, so he didn’t have much time to spend at the store.

However, on weekends, he was always there.

Qiann Yan was busy researching new things lately, and he felt it wasn’t right to disturb her, so he could only hold his sketch pad, writing and drawing. But when someone came over, he’d quickly shut his pad, making sure no one could see it, like everyone else.

Lately, he’s seen less of Qiann Yan, which made Linn Huai a little troubled.

Actually, if possible, he really wanted to visit her laboratory.

But he understood that the things she was researching weren’t ordinary, not something one could casually visit. Didn’t he notice that there were more and more people protecting her when she ventured out?

He suspected even his ancestors from eighteen generations ago had been thoroughly checked out.

Because he clearly felt the bodyguards around Qiann Yan looked at him with extra appreciation, definitely not merely because his clothing designs looked good.

Thinking back carefully, it must be that incident years ago when he almost lost his life reached these people.

Unable to meet Qiann Yan, Linn Huai could only recall, in detail, her appearance from past meetings and swiftly swung his pen.

He wanted to give Qiann Yan a gift.

No matter if she spent her whole life busy inside the lab, he would deliver this gift to her.

Before finishing the gift, of course, he couldn’t let anyone see it, or it wouldn’t be a surprise.

”Is it true that buying a set of clothes comes with a free sweater chain?”
