All Worlds Beg the Villainess to Act Like a Human

Chapter 812: Chapter 812: Unlucky Twin Sister (41)

Qiann Yan had no interest in the boys at school, nor did she have any plans to date; she felt this meetup was unnecessary.

These two roommates, who weren’t very familiar with her, agreed to a dormitory meetup with the boys without asking her consent, which left a bad impression on her.

So, she directly refused.

Faced with Qiann Yan’s refusal, Kong Qingqing and Zhang Xiaofang’s faces turned sour, an outcome they hadn’t anticipated.

In their view, it was just a small meetup between dorms, and Qiann Yan should at least give them some face.

But she refused.

”I’m actually not interested either,” at this moment, Ma Yuman, sitting at her desk, turned and said, ”I don’t plan on dating right now. I just want to spend more time studying as I plan to go to graduate school. I don’t want to waste time on such matters.”

Qiann Yan noticed some displeasure in Ma Yuman’s expression, guessing that she probably didn’t know about this matter and was just informed that she had to attend the dorm meetup, making her unhappy.

Even if she didn’t oppose it, Ma Yuman probably wouldn’t go. Qiann Yan could tell that Ma Yuman’s family background seemed quite good, with an inherent pride, and wasn’t the type to be easily manipulated.

Now, the expressions on Kong Qingqing and Zhang Xiaofang’s faces couldn’t hold up any longer. They had previously guaranteed that they would get Pei Qianyan to agree to the meetup.

The most important person at this meetup is Pei Qianyan; even if Ma Yuman was absent, it wouldn’t be an issue.

Kong Qingqing quickly adjusted her expression, forcing a smile, and walked up to Qiann Yan, ”It’s just to go for a meal, there’s nothing else. Knowing one more friend means one more road. Everything’s already been arranged; you can’t just ignore it, right? We’re in the same school, we’ll see each other often, turning things sour isn’t great.”

Qiann Yan said, ”What you guys arranged is your business. Since it wasn’t done with my consent, it means I didn’t agree to it. If I don’t want to go, I don’t have to. It’s not like I promised to. I don’t know those people well, it won’t sour any relationship.”

Qiann Yan’s attitude was very firm, leaving Kong Qingqing momentarily speechless.

Zhang Xiaofang approached, ”Pei Qianyan, the main organizer of this meetup is actually Young Master Zhu. Young Master Zhu wants to take this opportunity to get to know you. Do you know who Young Master Zhu is? He’s the heir to the Zhu Family. To be noticed by Young Master Zhu is a good thing for you; it’s something others would love to have.”

”I heard you come from the countryside and see college as a way out, but are you really okay with just getting an ordinary job after graduation? Haven’t you thought about using university connections to climb the social ladder and change your destiny?” Zhang Xiaofang explained earnestly, ”This is a rare opportunity. The boys in Young Master Zhu’s dorm all have exceptional backgrounds and are close to him. Forming connections with them is much more beneficial than studying hard for four years.”

Ma Yuman frowned, ”Did you two receive benefits from them? Pei Qianyan didn’t know about this. Did you even find out what she thinks? Making decisions on her behalf is a bit much.”

”Ma Yuman, this doesn’t seem to concern you, does it? If you don’t want to go, that’s fine, but don’t block Pei Qianyan’s path. Young Master Zhu has always wanted to meet Pei Qianyan. There wasn’t an opportunity before, was there? Taking advantage of this meetup for a meal, isn’t it nice for everyone to get to know each other? Nobody’s forcing Pei Qianyan to agree to anything.”

Qiann Yan said directly, ”You’re currently trying to force me to agree to attend the meetup.”
