All Worlds Beg the Villainess to Act Like a Human

Chapter 332: Chapter 332: The Abused Female Lead Awakens (Part 8)

The original owner’s wish was to live freely, carefree and want to see what it’s like to be a person.

Coincidentally, she also liked such a life.

In the midst of her thoughts, Qiann Yan had already arrived at the kitchen.

Her unfamiliar face in the kitchen indeed startled the cooks for a moment, and seeing the bright red clothes she wore, they immediately guessed who she was.

They had long been instructed not to prepare food for this Princess Consort.

This was the Prince’s command, showing clearly that the Princess Consort was not favored.

”Princess Consort, what brings you here?”

”Make me some food.” Qiann Yan stepped into the kitchen, her gaze sweeping around, ”Hurry up.”

The head chef plastered a smile on his face, ”Princess Consort, I’m afraid we’ll have to get the Prince’s permission first. Only with the Prince’s order can we prepare meals for the Princess Consort.”

Qiann Yan pushed the head chef aside and reached out to serve herself from the pot.

As the saying goes, do it yourself, and you’ll be well-fed and clothed.

”Princess Consort, you can’t, that’s prepared for the Prince. If the Prince holds you accountable, you won’t be able to bear the consequences.” The head chef said with a panicked look, but pretended to be calm. He didn’t rush over because, after all, she was the Princess Consort.

He thought these words would surely intimidate Qiann Yan, yet Qiann Yan had already served herself the porridge and started eating.

”Princess Consort!” The head chef shouted.

Qiann Yan looked up, ”You can go complain to him now, say I took his food.”

”A grand Prince Ling Mansion can’t even provide food, is in such poverty, yet pretends to marry a wife. It’s truly the joke of the century.”

The head chef was furious but dared not say anything. He couldn’t have imagined the Princess Consort’s fearless and defiant personality.

The head chef dared not act, and even less so the others.

They could only watch helplessly as Qiann Yan ate. After finishing a bowl of porridge, she felt it wasn’t enough and began eating other things.

”Princess Consort, the Prince will be angry.” The head chef had already ordered someone to inform about this matter. Seeing Qiann Yan reaching for the freshly stewed bird’s nest, he quickly shouted, ”Princess Consort, you can’t eat that, it’s for Miss Fuh Xi.”

Qiann Yan paused for a moment, but still poured the bird’s nest into a bowl, casually asking, ”Who is Miss Fuh Xi?”

Of course, she knew, but it was a diversion, waiting until she ate it, it was too late for them to stop her.

”Miss Fuh Xi is a favorite around the Prince. Princess Consort, you...” The head chef saw Qiann Yan actually took a bite, his face turned red with anger, ”If you do this, Miss Fuh Xi will be angry. The Prince regards Miss Fuh Xi very highly.”

Qiann Yan gently blew on the bird’s nest, tasted it, and commented, ”Not bad cooking skills.”

After eating her fill in the kitchen, Qiann Yan finally left contentedly, ”Remember to send meals over next time. It should meet my standards, otherwise, I’ll have to come and take it myself.”

With that, Qiann Yan lifted her steps and left.

The people in the kitchen were stunned; they had never seen someone so arrogant and unreasonable.

Qiao Xin was also extremely shocked. This time, she just quietly followed behind Qiann Yan, not saying much.

This was the Princess Consort digging her own grave, and when she loses favor, she can’t be blamed.

On the way back, Qiann Yan encountered a person she remembered well.

Bi Ye, the maid beside Miss Fuh Xi.

The other person should be going to the kitchen to fetch that bowl of bird’s nest.

And who is Miss Fuh Xi?

Jing Lingyu’s surrogate raised in the mansion, Wenn Qiuyu’s substitute. She once wandered in the dust and was brought back by Jing Lingyu just because she bore some resemblance to Wenn Qiuyu.

Because of Wenn Qiuyu, Miss Fuh Xi’s days in the mansion were indeed not poor.

At that time, Jing Lingyu often took Miss Fuh Xi to perform various unsightly acts in front of the original owner, which were quite spectacular.
