Invincible Blood Sorceror

Chapter 66: Bloodhound - GORVA

Chaos erupted like a dam breaking.

The guards attacked as one, a coordinated assault from all directions.

Energy blasts, enchanted arrows, conjured flames, and crystallized mana projectiles filled the air. Swords wreathed in elemental power swung toward Jorghan’s position.

The magical wards protecting the platform flickered and died under the onslaught, unable to contain the sheer destructive force being unleashed.

But Jorghan was already beyond them.

His body shifted, his posture changing as something primal took over. The tattoos, which were all over his body, exploded with light so intense it was painful to look at directly. His eyes blazed crimson, all traces of humanity burned away by the inferno of rage consuming him from within.

[BLOODHOUND CREED: 01/12]

The blood-red dot in his consciousness split, fragmenting into multiple points of light that swirled in patterns.

The air around Jorghan rippled. Like it was contracting and expanding with the change in the aura of Jorghan. People were moving away from the area where it was present.

With his crimson, glaring eyes, he called upon the creature of the infernal abyss.

”By the scent of sin, by the blood unspent—arise, my hounds.”

As soon as he said it, the ground started trembling, startling everyone around him. The soldiers halted their attacks.

And Hawkin squinted his eyes, watching Jorghan. He knew right upon seeing the tattoo on his neck, and now it was clear to him. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing; he had changed so much that it was hard to recognize his face, but right now, he could see all of it. The familiar traces of his half-brother and the burning power of their bloodline.

He clenched his fist so tight his knuckles turned pale, the bones grinding audibly beneath his skin. A low growl rumbled from his throat, more beast than man.

I should’ve ended him myself back then.

The thought burned through his mind like molten iron.

He could feel it—the Sol’vur clan’s power pulsing across the battlefield like a second heartbeat in the air. The bloodline he had coveted his entire life, the ancient inheritance of wrath and domination, was no longer sealed.

The air warped and shuddered as if the very space around Jorghan itself refused to host what was coming.

A scarlet ripple spread from Jorghan’s feet, the soil blackening, cracking like dry bone. His veins glowed faintly beneath his skin, a burning crimson that pulsed in rhythm with his heart.

Then came the sound—a low, guttural growl that didn’t come from any direction but seemed to reverberate inside his skull.

[WARNING: HOST MANA RESERVES DROPPING]

The system’s voice faded beneath the sound of claws raking through something unseen—like a beast clawing its way out of the void.

A dark fissure opened before him, spreading outward like the mouth of an ancient wound. From within it, smoke bled out—not rising, but crawling, creeping across the ground like a living red-colored shadow.

And then it stepped through.

The nightmarish creature of the Creed.

It stood taller than six men combined, a nightmare in flesh and shadow. Its fur was slick black, streaked with glowing veins of molten red that pulsed like living embers. Its eyes—two pits of hellfire—locked onto Jorghan, and for a moment, it was unclear who was master and who was beast.

When it exhaled, the air itself seemed to rot, carrying the metallic stench of blood and sulfur.

Jorghan met the intensifying gaze of the creature head-on, not even showing a hint of fear, while the soldiers were trembling, feeling the dread from the creature.

Even Hawkin was sweating. His son and another young man visibly paled.

[GORVA]

He raised his hand, and the hound bowed its monstrous head, lowering itself until its burning muzzle touched the ground before him.

A tattoo, similar to the one on Jorghan’s neck, appeared on the beast’s forehead—his mark of command.

Jorghan whispered under his breath, ”So, this is the Bloodhound Creed... one of twelve.”

The creature’s growl deepened, vibrating through the ground like the drumbeat of war. Its claws dug into the soil, and its form rippled—almost impatiently.

[HOST-LINK: STABLE—SYNCHRONIZATION COMPLETE]

He could feel its hunger, its raw malice tethered to his own fury.

The Bloodhound turned its gaze toward the horizon where his enemies lay, and its growl became a howl—deep, thunderous, echoing like a war cry that split the heavens.

The sound sent flocks of birds scattering from the forest canopy.

Even the wind seemed to retreat.

Jorghan clenched his fist, and the hound rose fully, its spine arching, ready to unleash havoc.

He whispered one command.

”Hunt.”

And with that, the beast leapt forward—leaving behind nothing but claw marks scorched into the ground and the lingering smell of blood and fire. It charged towards the flock of soldiers, instantly killing a dozen of them.

And this was only one of twelve.

Hawking and others stood in complete stunned fear; nobody moved a muscle. The entire surroundings became a freezing land, enveloped in terror.

[ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE TO HOST’S WILL]

The creature’s presence was suffocating.

The killing intent that had been emanating from Jorghan doubled, tripled, and became an ocean of malevolence that crashed over everyone present. More people in the crowd collapsed.

Even trained soldiers stumbled, their weapons falling from nerveless fingers.

The Bloodhound threw back its head and howled.

The sound was not of this world. Windows shattered across the entire city. The very stones of the castle groaned under the acoustic assault.

But Hawkin was already moving. He came out of his daze by the guttural scream of the beast.

Years of battle experience and decades of survival in a world that had tried to kill him countless times had honed his instincts to a razor’s edge. While others were still processing what they were seeing, still trying to understand the impossibility of the creature that had appeared, Hawkin acted.
