Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 1028: Chapter 1026: Kicked Open with One Blow

That’s right, vacation time is over, Lu Xiaobu is out.

And he came out with the latest version of QQ.

This time, he has one goal in mind: to annihilate them completely!

Came to the Group.

”Sister Lan, send out the data and collaborate with Alipay for promotion. Remember, first release only the basic functions, and then gradually release the rest as per my orders.” Lu Xiaobu squinted as he directed.

He’s really annoyed with this old guy Wen Cun; this isn’t just petty squabbling anymore.

The old guy actually targeted his employees?!

This time, it’s not as simple as beating him to surrender!

”Yes!” Liang Lan accepted the order.

She understood what Young Master meant.

If all these functions were released at once, not only would it not have a positive effect, but it might even overwhelm everyone, making them find it troublesome.

So, releasing them gradually is the best approach!

Thus, the Otherworld version of the QQ chat software was launched!

Although Weibo’s dominant influence in the social circle caused KK’s rapid development!

However, in the payment domain, Alipay holds the same dominance.

Hence, the enthusiastic promotion began.

However.

The results were minimal.

”What? QQ? Another chat app? Released by the Lu Group?”

”I took a look, it seems similar to KK!”

”Forget it, I’ll stick to KK, all my friends use KK; switching suddenly doesn’t make sense!”

”Indeed, I switched from UnionPay to Alipay solely because of the financial security issues, but it’s just a chat app, so I would go with whatever is convenient!”

”Young Master Bu, it’s not that we don’t support you, it’s just too troublesome! Switching back and forth might even lose contact with friends!”

”Support is given, but can’t say how much it’ll be used.”

”...”

This is the effect of Wen Cun leveraging Weibo’s existing advantages.

What’s the point of a chat app?

It’s for chatting!

With whom to chat?!

Of course, with family and friends.

If everyone’s friends are on KK, but one person switches, isn’t it useless?!

Wen Cun grinned smugly seeing this scene: ”Lu Xiaobu, see this?! This is what you call power! This is what you call dominance! My fortified wall, do you have a way to breach it?! Ridiculous!”

Quite honestly, he prefers defeating Lu Xiaobu head-on rather than using tricks.

After all, defeating a miracle icon like Lu Xiaobu face-to-face gives him a greater sense of accomplishment and satisfaction!

Previously using small tricks was merely a sign of insecurity.

But now, he isn’t insecure anymore!

Lu Group.

”I bet Wen Cun is feeling quite smug right now.” Lu Xiaobu sneered: ”Step one, connect QQ with the shopping website, force usage. But pay attention to user experience, employ strict reviews, and establish dedicated groups to prohibit annoying behaviors like unsolicited advertisements from merchants.”

”Yes!” Liang Lan nodded immediately.

It’s known that the Lu Group also holds dominance in the shopping domain.

How can shopping not involve chatting?! No communication?!

Thus, during the first update, the shopping site’s buyers and sellers were the first to be mandatorily connected to QQ.

This way, after about a week, Lu Xiaobu kicked down Wen Cun’s fortified wall hard!

The reason was simple.

Everyone knows, who shops the most?!

Women!

They shop frequently every day, so they must frequently use QQ!

Now, here’s the problem.

Initially, chat with friends using KK, and chat with sellers using QQ!

But what if you want to shop with friends together?! Do you have to switch back and forth?!

Of course, switching is possible.

But, it’s annoying!

At this point, people aren’t stupid, they will obviously add their friends on QQ too!

Thus, the first batch of users naturally emerged!

Seeing QQ’s growing user base made Wen Cun grind his teeth in frustration: ”Damn! Overlooked this shopping website! But Lu Xiaobu, this is just a minor path, even if you’ve established a foothold, so what?! At best, you’ll just become a shopping chat tool!”

Then.

Lu Xiaobu: ”Sister Lan, second command, start issuing shopping vouchers on the shopping website, requiring them to be forwarded only on QQ. Also set up a program that randomly awards large coupons to a certain person forward!”

”Yes, Young Master!” Liang Lan laughed lightly, Young Master’s move is quite ruthless.

As for why she said so?!

Everyone will understand as they read on.

Xiao Mei is a shopaholic, frequently purchasing all kinds of items from the shopping website, with almost all household necessities bought online.

Of course, this is also due to the strict quality control by the Lu Group’s shopping site, giving her confidence in her purchases.

And since she loves shopping, how could she not love shopping vouchers?! That’s real money!

So when the shopping site started issuing vouchers, she was instantly thrilled!

”Just by forwarding, I can get a voucher?! Awesome!” Xiao Mei eagerly forwarded one to her QQ friends.

Then, the shopping voucher link included a line, the fifth person will receive a big gift!

She snatched one, her friend owed one.

She got one buck, her friend got two bucks.

Even getting a free buck made her quite satisfied.

But the more Xiao Mei looked at the hint that the fifth person could get a big gift, the more it tempted her like a delicious sculpture, exciting her immensely.

So, driven by curiosity, she forwarded to three more people.

When the fifth person finally snatched the coupon.

She couldn’t wait to ask: ”How much?! How much?! How much did you get?!”

Snowflake: ”Wow! Thank you, Xiao Mei, I grabbed 108! Haha, so happy! I don’t even have to spend any money on this shopping trip!”

Xiao Mei: ”Congratulations, congratulations.”

Xiao Mei’s mouth said congratulations, but her heart was breaking!

Damn it, the coupon was clearly sent by me, why did they get 108 while I only got one buck, not even close to their amount?!

She felt taken advantage of!

So!

She immediately mobilized her entire family!

Getting her dad, mom, husband, son, all to register QQ accounts!

In this way, if there was more coupon, all the big and small ones would belong to her, hahaha!

Many people absolutely shared this thought!

After all, who would want to give away the money they could personally get?!

So!

Thus, QQ’s user base expanded from the shopping crowd to their families and some friends!

Once again, the user base skyrocketed!

And it doubled in growth!

Once again, Wen Cun was dumbfounded—how did this happen?!
