Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 493: Chapter 493: The Death of Qin Wushuang

Qin Wushuang was strong, but Su Han was stronger still.

Having lost his Domain and Teleportation, Qin Wushuang was only marginally stronger than Su Han. Combined with the severe injuries he sustained at the start of the fight, his power waned to the point that Su Han was now his equal. Moreover, the Holy Artifact in Su Han’s possession was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

At this moment, Qin Wushuang no longer had the bearing of a Supreme powerhouse. He was like a punching bag, tossed about by Su Han as his injuries grew ever more severe.

If this continued, Qin Wushuang’s defeat was certain, and for him, defeat meant death.

I cannot lose! I must avenge the Qin Family! I must avenge Tian’er and Qian Xuexue!

Qin Wushuang struggled to his feet, his blood-soaked hand gripping the Qinggang Sword tightly. His once-clear eyes turned bloodshot, seeming to seethe with a furious energy as he stared fixedly at Su Han. At this moment, Qin Wushuang was like a wounded lion. Far from showing weakness, he emanated an even more dangerous aura.

But Su Han was undeterred. My purpose today is to slay Qin Wushuang, eradicate my Heart Demon, and settle this grudge. Why would I stop now?

”Kill!”

That single word condensed all of Su Han’s intent. He had nothing more to say to Qin Wushuang. There was only the kill—either he died, or Su Han would.

The Holy Thunder Golden Wheel and the Nine Palace Golden Pagoda were activated once more. With a burst of Thunderbolt Overwhelming Power and an intense aura of annihilation, the Golden Wheel transformed into a gold-colored disc. It spun at high speed, unleashing a terrifying cutting force that could slice through space itself, let alone a body of flesh and blood. Meanwhile, the Nine Palace Golden Pagoda shone with a solemn, brilliant light, resembling a sacred Buddhist Golden Pagoda. Its Heaven and Earth chambers opened, releasing a rich, suppressive force as heavy as a mountain that caused the surrounding space to grow dense and heavy.

These two Holy Artifacts, one for offense and one for suppression, possessed infinite power. To be struck by either meant certain death or grievous injury.

Although Qin Wushuang was a Supreme Realm powerhouse, his personal arsenal was nowhere near as bountiful as Su Han’s. Faced with the Holy Artifacts, he was clearly at a disadvantage. Still, he refused to give up and prepared to risk his life for one last gamble.

”Low Grade Forbidden Technique: Origin Energy Spirit Piercing!”

Driven into a corner, Qin Wushuang had no choice but to unleash a Forbidden Technique. The one he had mastered was a method of stimulating his own potential to explosively evoke strength. It could grant him immense power temporarily, but it would inflict irreversible damage on his body. Every use carried severe consequences. But with his very life on the line, Qin Wushuang no longer cared about the aftereffects.

Qin Wushuang’s acupoints began to light up one by one, like a sky filled with dazzling stars. Then, an aura ten times more terrifying than before erupted from him.

BOOM!

A terrifying storm of power erupted from Qin Wushuang’s body, sweeping across and filling the entire Unparalleled Hall. It was like a super typhoon, capable of destroying everything in its path.

Qin Wushuang stood in the eye of the storm, Qinggang Sword in hand. From a distance, he looked as if possessed by an invincible storm god.

Yet Su Han remained unfazed. The Nine Palace Golden Pagoda descended with crushing force, like Tai Mount falling from the heavens, smashing down toward Qin Wushuang. Even the fearsome storm could not negate the might of a Holy Artifact.

”Earth Rank High Level Martial Technique: Wind Blade Flurry!”

Qin Wushuang made his move, executing an Earth Rank Martial Technique. Boosted by the Forbidden Technique, its power was exceptional. Within the storm, gales of wind coalesced into countless blades. Each one was as solid and sharp as steel, its deadly edge capable of cleaving gold and breaking iron.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

The Nine Palace Golden Pagoda collided with the Wind Blade Flurry, unleashing a rapid-fire series of metallic clashes. Meanwhile, Qin Wushuang struck again to fend off the assault of the Holy Thunder Golden Wheel.

”Intermediate Grade Divine Power: Wind’s Extreme Speed!”

Qin Wushuang unleashed a Divine Power once more. His speed was now several times faster than before, nearly matching Su Han’s Character Technique of Motion.

With the Heavenly Gang Sword in hand, Qin Wushuang attacked swiftly. Brilliant Sword Radiance crisscrossed the air as he continuously slashed at Su Han, each strike powerful enough to cleave a thousand-foot mountain.

Su Han gripped his Black Blade. Thunderbolts and flames wreathed its edge, infusing his own attacks with destructive power. By combining this with his various Origin Techniques and Divine Methods, he was still able to withstand Qin Wushuang’s onslaught.

”Heavenly Dragon Eight Sounds!”

”Invincible Dao Heart!”

While fiercely battling Qin Wushuang, Su Han employed more techniques to bolster his power. He opened his mouth and let out a roar like the long cry of a celestial dragon. The sound waves, powerful enough to shatter one’s Heart Spirit, surged forth like a tide.

Qin Wushuang’s eyes were blood-red, his demeanor frenzied and violent. Although the Forbidden Technique had made his strength surge, he was still affected by the suppression from the Heavenly Dragon Eight Sounds and Invincible Dao Heart.

”Spiritual Freeze!”

Su Han continued to unleash his Origin Techniques, attacking Qin Wushuang with his vast Divine Sense, but Qin Wushuang’s own Divine Sense surged forth like a storm, blocking the assault.

The two clashed back and forth in a fierce battle. The situation, however, was favorable to Su Han. His Demonic Qi was dense and no weaker than Qin Wushuang’s, and thanks to his Unrivaled Physical Body, he remained completely unharmed.

In contrast, while the Forbidden Technique had granted Qin Wushuang immense power, it was not limitless. Once its effects wore off, he would revert to his previous state—or perhaps something even more wretched. Furthermore, his physical body was far from being as strong as Su Han’s. Su Han’s tactic of trading blow for blow had only worsened Qin Wushuang’s existing injuries.

Finally, Qin Wushuang’s aura began to falter. The Forbidden Technique had clearly reached its limit.

”Nine Heavens Divine Light!”

Instantly grasping the change in Qin Wushuang’s aura, Su Han launched his attack. His one hundred and three Divine Sense Stellars lit up, and a mighty Divine Sense Power surged forth. It concentrated between his brows before shooting out as a golden beam of Nine Heavens Divine Light.

This beam of Nine Heavens Divine Light was so dense it seemed tangible, an indestructible force of immense might. With a single flash, it pierced through Qin Wushuang’s Divine Sense, entered between his brows, and lanced through his sea of consciousness, crippling it in a single blow.

”AHHH!”

The damage to his sea of consciousness was so severe it felt as if his very soul were being split by an axe. Qin Wushuang couldn’t help but let out a miserable scream, his face twisting into a ferocious, pain-filled mask.

”Primordial Qi Opening Sky Axe!”

Seizing the opportunity, Su Han gave Qin Wushuang no quarter. He concentrated all the energy in his body and unleashed an Origin Technique, materializing a Divine Axe that looked capable of splitting the heavens and the earth.

As the axe fell, it cleaved through the storm surrounding Qin Wushuang, completely nullifying his Forbidden Technique.

THUD!

At the same time, the Nine Palace Golden Pagoda finally found its opening. It descended from the sky and slammed down on Qin Wushuang, pinning him to the ground, unable to move or break free.

”I don’t accept this! I won’t be defeated! I will kill you!”

Qin Wushuang’s mind broke. His eyes looked as if they would burst from their sockets with rage as he shook his head violently, trying to break free from the suppression of the Nine Palace Golden Pagoda. But as his Forbidden Technique faded, the backlash surged through him. He was left utterly weakened, unable to break free from the Nine Palace Golden Pagoda and reduced to mere meat on a chopping block.

”Die!”

With a mere thought, Su Han halted the assault of the Holy Thunder Golden Wheel. Instead, he gripped his Black Blade and dove, slashing down. He was determined to personally slay Qin Wushuang and put an end to their grudge.

SHHNK!

With a flash of blade light, Qin Wushuang was dead.
