Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

The Seven Stars Sect needed to be rebuilt, and Ye Chuanfeng, along with the elders and disciples, were all feverishly working on it.

With Ning Feifan and Lu Yunxian gone, Su Han remained on Yaoguang Peak, too lazy to venture out. He needed to continue his secluded cultivation to digest his recent gains and convert them into true strength.

In this world, only power is truth. If I had been strong enough, the empress would never have taken my Dragon Soul. I wouldn’t have been humiliated at every turn, nor would I have been forced to watch helplessly as Ye Chuanfeng blackmailed me. Words are useless; only fists can make others submit. If they refuse to submit, then just beat them to death. Repay kindness with kindness, and vengeance with vengeance!

Although Lei Ming wasn’t keen on getting involved with the Sect’s overall reconstruction, he took the restoration of Yaoguang Peak seriously. He personally moved the peak back to its original position. With the Taiyin Demon Venerable gone and the Demonic Qi dissipated, the situation had improved. Even without the Intermediate Grade Spirit Vein, they could absorb the Spiritual Energy from heaven and earth, making conditions even better than before.

Su Han remained in seclusion, cultivating while contemplating his future.

A man who does not plan for the future will find trouble at his doorstep. I have never been one to simply muddle through. It is said that Qin Wushuang’s condition for betraying his sect was that the Heavenly Demon Cult would help Su Tian reconstruct his Physical Body. It seems he will reappear soon. Su Tian and Qin Wushuang, you both bullied and insulted me. I will have my revenge.

A cold glint flashed in Su Han’s eyes; his killing intent toward Su Tian and Qin Wushuang had never diminished.

So what if Qin Wushuang is a powerhouse of the Supreme Realm? Cowering and giving up because of an enemy’s strength is not my way. I am a demon. I will slay every enemy in this world! The Heavenly Demon Cult has tried to kill me numerous times. Although the Blood Poison Little Demon Lord and his ilk are dead, Toad Poison Venerable, Seven Injuries Devil Honorable, and others are still alive. What’s more, since I successfully raided their base, the entire Heavenly Demon Cult must see me as a thorn in their side. This debt of hatred must be settled, sooner or later.

Besides Qin Wushuang and the Heavenly Demon Cult, there is the Great Qian King, who has defected to Mozhou. Qian Xuan and his two companions died by my hand, and he has sent assassins after me multiple times. This enmity is irreconcilable. He must be killed!

Finally, there is Wang Tianqing. The bond between us as father and son has long been severed, replaced by nothing but enmity. Since you have tried every means possible to kill me, I will not forgive you. You must die!

Su Tian must die!

Qin Wushuang must die!

The Heavenly Demon Cult must die!

The Great Qian King must die!

Wang Tianqing must die!

Five enemies, five declarations of death. The cold killing intent flowed through his heart, and a chilling glint sharpened his gaze.

But none of these five enemies were easy to deal with, which meant Su Han needed even greater power. He had to avenge himself and settle these grudges.

Suppressing his murderous intent, Su Han took out his treasures and resumed his cultivation. Only by becoming stronger could he truly control his own destiny.

「In the Poisonous Miasma Swamp, the headquarters of the Heavenly Demon Cult.」

Earth Fiend Demon Sovereign and the others had already returned. They had heard the news that Su Han had escaped back to the Seven Stars Sect, making them realize their encirclement had been a complete waste of effort.

”Seven Injuries Devil Honorable, you are guilty of gross negligence,” Earth Fiend Demon Sovereign said, his voice cold as he looked down at the kneeling man. ”According to the sect rules, you should have been executed. However, considering the difficulty of your cultivation and the enemy’s cunning, I will allow you to atone for your crime. You are to keep Su Han under constant surveillance. I want to flay him and pull out his tendons, leaving him without even a burial plot!”

Given his temper, the Sovereign had wanted to kill Seven Injuries Devil Honorable with a single palm strike. After all, if not for the man’s dereliction of duty, the treasure vault would not have been plundered, the Spirit Vein would not have been destroyed, and he would not have been forced to retreat his forces so quickly.

But what was done was done, and further discussion was pointless. The Heavenly Demon Cult had suffered tremendous losses. However, Seven Injuries Devil Honorable was, after all, a Supreme Realm powerhouse, so it was better to let him atone for his crime through meritorious service.

”Thank you, Sect Master, for sparing my life!” Seven Injuries Devil Honorable replied respectfully, making a solemn vow. ”I will do my utmost to keep a close watch on Su Han and swear to slay him.” He knew this was the best possible outcome.

His anger over Su Han’s escape was already uncontainable, filling him with an intense desire to kill. To make matters worse, upon returning, he discovered his only son, the Yin Ya Little Demon Lord, had vanished without a trace. He immediately assumed Su Han was the killer, adding this bitter blood feud to his hatred.

After dealing with Seven Injuries Devil Honorable, Earth Fiend Demon Sovereign finally addressed the main topic of the meeting. ”This Su Han is so detestable at such a young age. If we give him any more time to grow, I’m afraid none of us will be able to suppress him. Therefore, this man must not only be killed, but it must be done quickly. Delays will only invite more trouble.”

In the great hall, all nine Great Elders of the Heavenly Demon Cult were present, along with Leng Rufeng and Qin Wushuang, for a total of twelve Supreme Realm powerhouses.

”Su Han is insidious and cunning, yet possesses extraordinary talent,” Leng Rufeng spoke up. ”In just a few short months, he has broken through to the Physique Realm. If we give him another year or two, killing him will be even more difficult.”

He had personally witnessed Su Han’s meteoric rise in the mere months since joining the sect. Now that someone like him was on the Prodigy List, he had to be eliminated to prevent future disasters.

”Hmph! That Su Han has killed so many of our Demon Cult’s finest disciples. He must die!” Toad Poison Venerable spat coldly, his eyes glinting with murderous intent. ”Furthermore, he is an Array Master. If we don’t eliminate him soon, our sect’s Great Formation will be useless against him in the future.”

His most prized disciple, the Blood Poison Little Demon Lord, had died at Su Han’s hands, filling him with a deep hatred and a relentless desire to kill.

The other Great Elders also expressed their views. They hadn’t taken Su Han seriously before, but his raid on their headquarters had made them all wary. Now that he was on the Prodigy List, it was clear his talent and strength were terrifying. To let him continue growing would be to nurture a formidable enemy. Thus, how to target, take revenge on, and kill him became the central topic of the meeting.

”Qin Wushuang, you have an irreconcilable blood feud with Su Han. What are your thoughts?” Earth Fiend Demon Sovereign asked, turning to Qin Wushuang, who had remained silent.

”I do have an open and honorable method to kill him,” Qin Wushuang said, looking up with a bright, piercing gaze.

”Oh? Let’s hear it!” All eyes turned to Qin Wushuang, their attention captured.

”A duel!” Qin Wushuang declared. He had been pondering this for a long time; his desire to kill Su Han surpassed everyone else’s.

”My grandson, Su Tian, has obtained the Supreme Corpse and is reconstructing his Physical Body. Once he fully integrates with it, he will have the power to slay Su Han. Since the two share an irreconcilable blood feud, if a duel is proposed, Su Han will definitely accept the challenge.”

This was a plan to kill two birds with one stone. It would not only deal with Su Han but also secure advantages for Su Tian. After all, Su Tian had obtained the Supreme Corpse but hadn’t fully integrated with it yet. If powerhouses like Earth Fiend Demon Sovereign intervened, the process would be greatly accelerated. To ensure Su Han’s death, the Heavenly Demon Cult would certainly offer their full support. This would not only guarantee Su Han’s demise but also make his own grandson stronger.

Hearing Qin Wushuang’s words, everyone was surprised. But after a moment of thought, Earth Fiend Demon Sovereign gave his immediate approval.

”Good! We’ll do as you say and challenge Su Han to a duel. This time, I want to witness his death with my own eyes!”
