Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 205: Chapter 205: Hunting Plan

Tian Yunshan would never have imagined that while he was still searching for a chance to kill Su Han, Su Han had already targeted him.

While Tian Yunshan was indeed powerful with his Heavenly King Realm strength, Su Han was not without a chance. In his heart, a perfect plan for revenge had long been brewing. Yun Mokong’s sinister plotting and Tian Yunshan’s ordered assassinations proved that the father-son duo were not good people. Naturally, Su Han would show them no mercy.

He understood the principle of striking first to gain the upper hand. With his bold yet cautious nature, others would never expect him to dare hunt down Tian Yunshan. This counter-psychological tactic might just yield surprising results.

Of course, after leaving the Seven Stars Sect, Su Han’s first stop was still Qian Yuan City.

Seeing Sun Buzhou again, Su Han retrieved the Golden Light Fiery Mirror he had left in storage and asked, ”Pavilion Master Sun, is there any news about Miss Tongyan?”

”The battle for the sequence has begun, and Miss Tongyan is participating,” Sun Buzhou explained. As they were now familiar with each other, and he also had a good relationship with Tongyan, he didn’t hide anything. ”As for news, I’m afraid we’ll only know after the battle is over. But don’t worry. Miss Tongyan possesses the Qi Holy Body, so her luck is incredible. She won’t come to any harm and might even improve her rank.”

”Thank you, Pavilion Master Sun. If there is any news, please let me know,” Su Han said, clasping his fists in thanks. ”There’s one other thing I’d like to ask for your help with.”

Su Han spoke again, but this time Sun Buzhou anticipated his question. ”You want to know who placed a bounty on you with the Demon Slayer Sect, don’t you?”

Assassins from that very sect had come for him because they had accepted a mission. If a mission was accepted, someone must have issued it, and Su Han had to know who wanted him dead. Su Han nodded, his eyes filled with hope, as it seemed Sun Buzhou already knew.

”I’ve already inquired about it for you. It was your father, Wang Tianqing,” Sun Buzhou revealed. ”He issued the bounty with the Demon Slayer Sect. After the first attempt failed, he increased the reward, hoping a bronze-rank assassin would take the task. Bronze-rank assassins are all Physique Realm experts. You must be careful!”

The truth made Su Han’s pupils shrink, and his heart sank to the bottom of a valley. He had never expected that the one going to such lengths to kill him was his own biological father. The old saying, ’The imperial family is the most heartless,’ was truly accurate. His mother had been murdered by the vicious Empress, and now even his own father was this ruthless.

Tianqing Dynasty, I will return sooner or later! Su Han’s heart grew cold, and killing intent surged within him like a tide. Since Wang Tianqing is going to such lengths to kill me, why should I show any naive compassion?

”Pavilion Master Sun, thank you for telling me!” Su Han expressed his gratitude, as this was information that would have been difficult for him to obtain through his own channels.

Next, Su Han got down to business with Sun Buzhou. He had obtained many treasures in the Supreme Cave Mansion. This included seven or eight Dao Artifacts, not to mention a wealth of valuables from the Storage Rings of figures like General Wei Yuan and the Blood Poison Little Demon Lord. Su Han set aside what he could use and decided to sell the rest to the Myriad Treasures Pavilion.

”Mr. Su, you truly are a VIP of our Myriad Treasures Pavilion! You always bring me a great deal of business!” Sun Buzhou couldn’t stop smiling as he looked at the numerous treasures. Personal relationships were one thing, but business was business—a point clear to everyone at the Myriad Treasures Pavilion.

”This time, besides Spirit Gold, I’d also like to buy some Array Formation materials,” Su Han stated.

He didn’t need Spirit Stones. After selling his spoils, he wanted to exchange them for items he urgently needed. Spirit Gold was a must, as more than half of his Great Luo Golden Body was still untempered. To hunt Tian Yunshan, he also needed to prepare a Great Formation. After all, a Heavenly King Realm expert was not so easily killed.

”Since learning that you required Spirit Gold, I’ve prepared quite a bit these past few days, so you won’t have to wait!” A keen businessman, Sun Buzhou quickly gathered all the Spirit Gold and Array Formation materials Su Han needed. As for their purpose, he never asked. His business was selling; everything else was not his concern.

”Pavilion Master Sun, if you hear any news of Holy Medicine or Immortality Medicine, please let me know. I have need of such precious medicines,” Su Han requested before leaving.

He always kept this matter in his heart: Holy Medicine could treat his master, and Immortality Medicine could cure Fairy Sister Yun Xian.

”Agreed!” Sun Buzhou was slightly surprised by the request but nodded without prying. He then gave Su Han a Communication Talisman, through which he would send any news.

After bidding farewell to Sun Buzhou, Su Han left Qian Yuan City. With his preparations complete, it was time to officially begin his hunt.

Tian Yunshan, you’ve sent people to kill me multiple times. We’ll start with you!

This stage of Su Han’s training focused on combat and growing stronger through killing. He would not spare Tian Yunshan, the Great Qian King, the Demon Slayer Sect, the Heavenly Demon Cult, or even Wang Tianqing. However, none of these enemies were easy to deal with. To get his revenge, he had to learn patience, starting with the weaker ones first and proceeding step by step.

Inside Su Han’s Bronze Ring, the Thunder Light Treasure Ship gifted by Tongyan remained. But this Dao Artifact was too conspicuous. If he used it, his whereabouts would likely be discovered quickly. He therefore abandoned the idea of traveling at high speed, instead concealing his presence with the Heaven-Deceiving Demon Bead and hurrying along with the Character Technique of Motion.

Although the Character Technique of Motion was fast, it consumed a great deal of Demonic Qi, so Su Han could not travel day and night. His journey was considerably slower, but he was not in a rush. As he traveled, he continued to use the Golden Light Fierce Fire to further temper the forty newly acquired Great Luo Golden Bones, subjecting them to a second refinement.

At this time, Tian Yunshan had no idea he was being targeted. He was still obsessively plotting ways to deal with Su Han. However, at that moment, an unexpected visitor arrived at his palace.

”This junior pays his respects to the Toad Poison Venerable!” Tian Yunshan greeted him deferentially. Even though the other man was an enemy, he didn’t dare to make a move. He was merely in the Heavenly King Realm, while the visitor before him, Toad Poison Venerable, was a Supreme Realm expert.

The Toad Poison Venerable’s face was a little pale, a clear sign of his unhealed injuries. But with his strength, killing Tian Yunshan would be effortless. Today, however, he had not come to kill.

”Tian Yunshan, I’ll give you two choices: submit to my Heavenly Demon Cult, or die!” the Toad Poison Venerable said, getting straight to the point.

Tian Yunshan’s heart skipped a beat. He was from Qingzhou and a subordinate of the Seven Stars Sect. Does this mean the Heavenly Demon Cult is preparing to go to war with the Seven Stars Sect again?

”I am willing to submit!” Faced with life and death, Tian Yunshan wisely chose to bend with the wind.

The Toad Poison Venerable nodded, satisfied with Tian Yunshan’s pragmatism. ”I heard your son died at Su Han’s hands? Don’t worry. This time, the Heavenly Demon Cult will kill Su Han and avenge you!”

Tian Yunshan was overjoyed. He had been searching for an opportunity to deal with Su Han but couldn’t act openly due to a certain powerful individual’s presence. The Heavenly Demon Cult offering to help was an unexpected blessing.

Su Han, this time there’s no escape, even if you had wings!
