Zhan Shen: It’s Just a Sacrifice, How Can I Become a Villain?

465: The truth behindAmidst everyone’s anticipation, Song Zhong spoke, revealing his hypothesis.

”Although the Heavenly Kingdom and Hell, these two Divine Kingdoms, have lost their former glory, their ruins still exist.

And Lucifer, as one of the twelve Archangels, set the entrance to Hell within the Heavenly Kingdom.

This act was nothing short of a provocation to the Heavenly Kingdom. After the Battle of the Moon, although Yelande could no longer return to Earth, the other Archangels still existed.

Besides Michael, who guarded the Moon, the other Archangels then formulated a plan to counterattack Hell and eliminate Lucifer.”

Zhou Ping and the others listened intently. At this moment, Athena spoke, ”I know about this. Since then, the Heavenly Kingdom and Hell vanished from Earth.

Olympus once dispatched Heavenly Gods specifically to investigate the whereabouts of the two Divine Kingdoms, but they all returned without success.

Since then, news of the complete demise of the two Divine Kingdoms spread.

It wasn’t until that day, when Michael Sealed Lucifer beneath a volcano, that the world confirmed Lucifer was not dead.”

Xia Simeng rested her chin on her hand and asked, ”But what does this have to do with Lucifer colluding with Cthulhu?”

”This point, I’m afraid, will have to be answered by our Time God here.” Song Zhong smiled, looking at Wang Mian, which made Wang Mian a little flustered.

”Lord of the Nation, I only know about Takamagahara, but Takamagahara and Lucifer have no relation.

In my timeline, after Cthulhu, who was nurtured in Takamagahara, erupted, it corrupted many indigenous Heavenly Gods on Earth, and Lucifer was one of them.”

After hearing Wang Mian’s words, Zhou Ping and the others became interested in his future timeline.

”Brother Wang Mian, tell us in detail, what exactly happened in the future?” Xia Simeng asked.

Wang Mian nodded and then recounted the anomaly of Takamagahara.

Except for Song Zhong, the eyes of the others were filled with shock.

”What? So Cthulhu has already corrupted Takamagahara to this extent.”

”It seems that the methods Cthulhu has deployed on Earth are far more complex than we imagined.”

”Let’s just invade Takamagahara and, while Cthulhu’s main body hasn’t hatched yet, directly destroy the breeding ground of their birth.”

The few began to discuss. At this moment, Wang Mian suddenly reminded them, ”This matter is not that simple. Moreover, we haven’t yet figured out the situation of Tian Shen Temple. Let’s first hear Lord of the Nation finish his explanation.”

After speaking, Wang Mian cupped his hands towards Song Zhong and said, ”Lord of the Nation, do you mean that the destruction of Tian Shen Temple is related to Takamagahara? After all, in Takamagahara, the corpses of the Heavenly Gods there have all been transformed into Cthulhu monsters. Both in terms of quantity and strength, they possess the conditions to fight against Tian Shen Temple.”

Song Zhong shook his head and said, ”No, the destruction of Tian Shen Temple has nothing to do with Takamagahara. If those monsters from Takamagahara came out, it would certainly cause a huge commotion.”

”If that’s the case, then where did Black Goat’s helpers come from?” Wang Mian asked.

”I just had you tell everyone about Takamagahara. So, is there a possibility that there is more than one place on Earth similar to Takamagahara?”

Song Zhong’s words were like a time bomb, detonating in everyone’s hearts.

More than one Takamagahara?

What a joke, that’s a Divine Kingdom corrupted by Cthulhu! If that were true, wouldn’t everyone have been in constant danger since the arrival of the fog, without even knowing it?

”Have you ever thought about which Divine Kingdom’s situation is similar to Takamagahara, losing all contact with the outside world after the fog descended?” Song Zhong asked.

Zhou Ping narrowed his eyes and said, ”Lord of the Nation, do you mean the Heavenly Kingdom and Hell?”

Song Zhong slowly nodded. Athena and the others showed surprised looks in their eyes. Although they had anticipated it, the shock in their hearts was still hard to hide when they actually heard the news.

”The Archangels who counterattacked Hell back then did indeed die, right there in Hell.

And Lucifer was also severely wounded and fled Hell.

The Divine Kingdoms, which had become empty shells, were then targeted by Cthulhu Heavenly Gods. Compared to Takamagahara, where Heavenly Gods still existed, this place was more hidden and more convenient for them to act.

Countless corpses of demons and angels became a paradise for raising Cthulhu monsters.”

Listening to Song Zhong’s description, Zhou Ping and the others couldn’t help but gasp, ”Lord of the Nation, does that mean there’s a Cthulhu army being raised in Hell?”

Song Zhong nodded, ”That’s right. With such a powerful army, it’s not impossible to destroy Tian Shen Temple.”

The few looked at each other. From the traces left by Tian Shen Temple, the truth was very likely as Song Zhong described.

”It seems that Black Goat opened Hell and released those monsters. But how did they enter Tian Shen Temple without anyone knowing?” Athena asked.

One must know that even Song Zhong relied on the power of Rain Realm Ripple to find the entrance hidden in the illusion.

So how did Black Goat know the entrance to Tian Shen Temple?

Song Zhong looked back at Brahma’s corpse and said, ”Why do you think the killer peeled off his face after killing Brahma?

And even if they peeled it off, why did they leave one behind?”

Song Zhong’s question once again caused the few to ponder. Indeed, Black Goat didn’t seem to have such a Hobbies, and peeling off Brahma’s face was utterly meaningless to him.

”This behavior looks like it’s done out of spite, but Cthulhu Heavenly Gods and Brahma don’t seem to have such deep-seated hatred!” Xia Simeng said, looking at Brahma’s body.

”You’re right.”

Song Zhong smiled slightly. His answer made Xia Simeng a little embarrassed. Could she really be a Genius at deduction?

Song Zhong continued, ”Since Lucifer is involved in this matter, why can’t other Heavenly Gods be involved?

Think about it, who is the person in this world who hates Brahma the most?”

”Great God Brahma of World Destruction!” Zhou Ping was the first to blurt out the answer. The reason was simple: as guardians of the Great Xia, they had dealt with Yue Huai countless times.

And Yue Huai was the agent of Great God Brahma of World Destruction.

This evil god from Indian mythology was actually formed when Brahma stripped away his own evil thoughts.

However, Great God Brahma of World Destruction, composed of evil thoughts, was extremely cunning. He managed to escape Brahma’s control and evaded the pursuit of Tian Shen Temple.

”Indeed, if it were Great God Brahma of World Destruction, doing such a thing would be very reasonable,” Wang Mian said.

Back then, Brahma stripped evil thoughts from his body. Now, Great God Brahma of World Destruction returns, peeling off the other faces, leaving only one representing good thoughts. This act of revenge now seems reasonable.

Moreover, if Great God Brahma of World Destruction were the guide, it would also explain why the Cthulhu army could silently enter Tian Shen Temple and catch them off guard.
