Zhan Shen: It’s Just a Sacrifice, How Can I Become a Villain?

326: Odin is my most respected brother.”Time God? Kronos?” Loki frowned slightly, asking in confusion.

Kronos was the previous God King of Olympus. If the Time Seal here was truly His doing, then it would be quite troublesome.

Even if He had been replaced by Zeus, His strength was not to be underestimated.

Chen Lu shook his head, ”The future Time God is not Him.”

”Oh? Then who is it?”

Loki’s expression brightened. Chen Lu’s words indirectly confirmed that Kronos no longer existed in the future. Compared to the strange ability of the Law of Time, Kronos himself was a troublesome existence.

If the means here were not left by Him, Loki was still very confident in resolving the trouble here.

”He is Wang Mian, the captain of the Great Xia Mask Squad,” Chen Lu said, gritting his teeth, word for word.

”Wang Mian? So he’s Kronos’s proxy.” A gleam appeared in Loki’s eyes. He, of course, knew that name.

Wang Mian could be said to be one of the most promising Night Watchers among the new generation in Great Xia.

”Alright, Chen Lu, it’s time to talk about why you called me here.”

Chen Lu sighed and said, ”The reason I called you here this time is to ask for your help in breaking this Time Loop and freeing the Whale of Change.”

Loki did not immediately answer Chen Lu’s words but began to ponder.

”Whale of Change? Isn’t that a god from Takamagahara? She’s actually here?

Takamagahara...” Loki muttered the name Takamagahara and suddenly understood something.

”So that’s it, so that’s it. The Cthulhu hid the key to opening Takamagahara in Great Xia? What a clever scheme!”

Loki had already gained some understanding of Cthulhu through Odin.

Although they were Sealed on the moon by Yelande, in order to escape their predicament, Cthulhu used the moon as a medium to corrupt Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, one of the Supreme Gods of Takamagahara in Japan.

Among various mythological systems, Supreme Gods who worship the moon are few and far between, and Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto is one of the most famous.

The Cthulhu wanted to completely corrupt Takamagahara by polluting Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, turning it into a hotbed for Cthulhu.

Thinking about it carefully, how terrifying would a Divine Realm corrupted and controlled by Cthulhu be?

However, the commotion caused by this matter was ultimately a bit too large, so the Cthulhu closed the gate of Takamagahara.

At the same time, they secretly drove out the key to opening the gate, the Divine Beast of Takamagahara, the Whale of Change, and hid Her deep within the Great Xia coastline.

And within the body of this Whale of Change, the seeds of Cthulhu had long been planted.

These seeds would take root and sprout as time went on, and eventually the Whale of Change would completely become a tool for Cthulhu.

By then, the corruption of the entire Takamagahara would also be complete. At that point, using the Whale of Change to open the gate of Takamagahara would release incredibly terrifying Cthulhu monsters.

Takamagahara had already become a pandora’s box on Earth.

All of these events, on a certain timeline in the future, were encountered by Wang Mian, who had become a god.

To rewrite the course of history, he did not hesitate to pay a heavy price, Transmigrating back to trap the Whale of Change’s corpse in a Time Loop.

The purpose was to delay the occurrence of all this and gain more time to find a way to Break through the situation.

It was precisely for this reason that the Cthulhu temporarily lost the ability to open Takamagahara.

Therefore, they had no choice but to settle for the next best thing, choosing to cooperate with Odin, the God King of Asgard, and promising to help him Breakthrough the limits of a Supreme God.

And Loki quickly understood the situation at hand.

”How interesting. It turns out the Cthulhu gods had already installed a ticking time bomb on Earth,” Loki said.

By now, Loki had figured out the methods of the Cthulhu gods.

They first secretly corrupted the entire Takamagahara through Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, turning the Japanese Divine Realm into a hotbed while also transforming the Japanese gods into a vanguard for invading Earth.

Once the corruption was complete, as long as the key, Hua Jing, was activated, they could complete the invasion.

At that time, Michael, the Angel King guarding the Moon, would inevitably extend a helping hand to Earth, and then it would only be a matter of time before the Cthulhu broke through the Seal on the Moon.

Chen Lu looked at Loki, with no intention of hiding anything.

”So, my friend, are you willing to help me break this Time Loop?”

The methods of the Time God were not something ordinary gods could break. Fortunately, Loki happened to not be an ordinary god.

As long as He was willing to act, He would definitely be able to break the fishing village’s Time Loop.

”Hehe, my friend, this task is quite challenging for me.” Loki did not immediately make a promise to Chen Lu. He changed the subject and asked:

”So, what price do you intend to pay, Chen Lu?”

Chen Lu’s aged face was as still as an ancient well. He seemed to have anticipated Loki’s bargaining.

”Loki, I think your ambition is not merely to become a Supreme God, is it?”

A playful smile appeared on Loki’s face. ”Chen Lu, can I interpret your words just now as an attempt to sow discord between Odin and me?”

Both Loki and Chen Lu knew very well that the reason Odin would actively engage with the Cthulhu gods was to Breakthrough the limitations of a Supreme God.

If Odin successfully entered the Realm of Ascension, with His personality, He would absolutely not allow any other god to step into that Realm.

Chen Lu listened to Loki’s words and smiled like a withered chrysanthemum.

”In your heart, which holds more weight: Odin or Asgard?

Or to put it this way, if Asgard needs a god in the Realm of Ascension, why must that god be Odin? Is it just because He is the God King?

Odin can cooperate with the great Cthulhu, so why can’t you?”

Chen Lu’s eyes flickered with a strange red light, and a series of questions struck Loki’s heart directly.

Loki’s gaze was erratic. He seemed to be influenced by Chen Lu as well, and other thoughts began to arise in His mind.

No, it should be said that these thoughts had long been rooted in His mind.

However, Loki still maintained a certain degree of caution.

”Chen Lu, were those words just now your intention, or Cthulhu’s intention?” Loki asked.

Chen Lu’s smile was eerie. ”I am the most loyal believer of the great Cthulhu. Everything I do and say is to carry out Cthulhu’s will.”

Loki’s expression suddenly became pained. ”Damn it, Odin is my most revered sworn brother.

But for the glory of Asgard, I seem to have no choice.”

Loki paused and said, ”I accept your request, but how do I obtain the power of Cthulhu?”

Chen Lu pointed to the sea and said, ”Come down with me, and you will get everything you desire.”
