Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

With the massive success of the tea party, all the preparations that the Skepa family wanted to do before the main party was completed. So now, everyone was waiting for this party to begin.

There was only one day left before the start of the party. So the whole Skepa castle was in a festive mood and the gloom of the war had completely disappeared.

Actually, that war had helped the Skepa family to get rid of troublesome elements from their territory and to solidify their control over it. So it had actually been a beneficial development for them.

After this party was over, Weiss was planning to go and try to board the ship to the magus world. And this was a complete unknown even for her so she was not sure when she would be able to return.

There was also a possibility that she might fail to get on board the magic ship or on the opposite spectrum, she might never be able to return back here. So Weiss was keeping everything in her mind and was making preprations for all the situations.

With how Weiss had functioned in her territory for the last three years, currently, even in her absence, her excellent subordinates would be able to function perfectly even without her involvement. She had also made detailed plans about the development of the territory and had given that plan to all of her top subordinates.

So, Weiss had already done a lot of things to make sure everything would be fine in her absence. Actually, if she could, she wanted to take her top subordinates to the magus world too.

But as even her own visit to that legendary place was uncertain, there was no way for Weiss to make sure to bring her subordinates and friends along.

But there was one person who was going to accompany Weiss to the magic ship. Even if she needed to overcome untold number of hardship, she was always ready to throw her life away for her mistress. And the person in question was obviously Elise.

This head strong lady was always ready to be by Weiss’s side no matter what. She had actually begged Weiss to bring her to the magic ship and her journey to become a magus.

That was why, while waiting for the party to start, both of these ladies were talking with one another. Their topics of conversation were very varied and it included the situation of this city, the situation of the Souran territory and also their future.

Elise was extremely confident that her mistress would be able to become a very sucessful magus in no time. Her confidence on Weiss was truly unmatched.

As for the lady in question herself, she had very grounded thoughts. Weiss was neither dreaming about success nor dooming about failure. Instead, she was considering all the possible paths and was thinking of solutions for everything.

Alongside her insane talent and unbelievable intelligence, the other biggest merit that Weiss had was her willpower and determination. So, no matter what the situation was, Weiss was definitely going to fight till the very end without giving up.

...

Having this discussion was actually a good thing for both of the ladies. Even though there was no doubt in Elise’s mind regarding her decision to follow her mistress to the end of the world, as it was something completely unknown to her and even her almighty mistress, she definitely had some worries about this matter.

As for Weiss, she was basically abandoning all her responsibilities and duties to accomplish her aim. Even though Weiss did not care about his duties and such that much, she still had worries regarding how her beloved subordinates were going to be without her.

But, after having a conversation together, both of the two ladies’ worries were gone. Now they were only determined to do their best without holding anything back.

But first, before their main aim, first they needed to take part in the upcoming party. If for some reason Weiss needed to or was able to stay in the Brightshine kingdom, these connections would become extremely useful for her and the Souran territory.

...

On the day before the party, several nobles had gathered together in a luxurious tavern. They were currently planning to form an loose alliance among each other in order to gather as much benefit as possible from this party.

As the Skepa family was currently the hottest thing, there were a lot of people who somehow wanted to take advantage of that. And this group was no different.

But the plan that they were making was quite daring. They were planning to target the person who had most probably gained the most during this time. And that person was none other than Baroness Weiss Souran.

Other than the financial gain, almost all the nobles here could not get the figure of this extremely beautiful lady out of their mind. So their biggest motive behind their plan was to make this noble lady their cum dumpster.

As for how they were going to accomplish this and what their plans were, they actually had several ones. But unfortunately for them, all of these plans were stupid.

One of their brilliant plan was to use brute force to make this lady to submit to them. Another plan involved the use of hostages to turn this lady into their slave.

Some of the nobles here were even confidence in tricking this inexperienced lady into becoming their plaything with just words. It was impossible for them to even understand that someone as young as her could be capable of matching them in wits.

Her young age was also one of the main reason why these nobles had thought of her as an easy target. But obviously they had no idea about how big of a mistake they were making by going against this lady.

So it looked like with the involvement of these clown nobles, the grand main party was going to be even more fun.
