Clan Rise: Starting as a Grandfather

Chapter 1517 - 946: Cave Heaven Transmission Array

Yang Zhenshan, seeing him so certain, picked up the Array Plate and carefully sensed it. Sure enough, he detected the power of the Void within it.

”This needs to be refined, and it also requires the integration of the Grotto Heaven’s aura. Uh, I’m not really clear on how exactly to use it; Ancestor, you might need to research it yourself!” Yang Jizhen explained somewhat awkwardly.

The Pocket World Gate, as the name implies, is a magical treasure specifically refined for the Grotto Heaven.

Although Yang Jizhen refined it according to the concept in the Void Refining Scripture, he himself did not have a Grotto Heaven, so naturally, he couldn’t test it.

So whether this thing can be used, he couldn’t be sure either.

The newly refined magical treasure is easier to refine; Yang Zhenshan spent less than two hours to refine the Pocket World Gate.

After refining, Yang Zhenshan carefully contemplated it, only then coming to a sudden realization.

This Pocket World Gate is not the same as the one that the Spirit Source Land previously owned.

The previous Pocket World Gates were inherently part of the Spirit Source Land, which means they were accompanying magical treasures generated by the Spirit Source Land, thus they were one with it.

However, what Yang Jizhen refined was, accurately speaking, the Cave Heaven Transmission Array.

But it is different from a normal Teleportation Array, which requires two or more sets to function, forming connections between two or multiple places for long-distance transmission.

This one only needs a single set to connect with the Grotto Heaven.

Therefore, its refinement is much easier.

Transmission Arrays belong to Third-tier Arrays, and this is a simplified version, classified as a Second-Order Array Magical Treasure.

There are also many differences between the Cave Heaven Transmission Array and the Pocket World Gate, firstly the Cave Heaven Transmission Array is not as convenient as the Pocket World Gate, which only needs to be set in one place and will always remain active.

The Cave Heaven Transmission Array, being an Array, must be activated before use, and it requires Spirit Stones to operate.

The Pocket World Gate also has consumption, but its consumption comes from the Grotto Heaven, not needing additional Spirit Stones.

Additionally, the Pocket World Gate can be expanded up to a hundred feet wide, allowing even large Flying Boats to pass, whereas the Cave Heaven Transmission Array transmits a much smaller volume, able to transport only about twenty to thirty people at a time.

Lastly, once the Cave Heaven Transmission Array is set up, moving it becomes very troublesome and requires the cooperation of an Array Master.

Yang Zhenshan can simply take it away, but if he wants to set it up somewhere else, he needs an Array Master’s cooperation, or he can research the accompanying array himself.

In comparison, the Pocket World Gate is much more convenient; Yang Zhenshan can move it freely and place it wherever he wants, even using it as a magical treasure to forcibly send people into the Spirit Source Land.

Although the Cave Heaven Transmission Array is inferior to the Pocket World Gate in many aspects, it can still replace it.

For example, on Divine Wood Island, this transmission array can totally replace the Pocket World Gate, as the frequency of use of the Pocket World Gate on Divine Wood Island is not high.

Also, within ancient relic formations, transmission arrays can replace Pocket World Gates, as the frequent use of Pocket World Gates there doesn’t require transporting large things; ores and such can be directly loaded into Storage Bags and transported to the Spirit Source Land.

Seeing it this way, except in cases requiring the transmission of large items, transmission arrays can replace Pocket World Gates.

”Are there materials left?” asked Yang Zhenshan.

”There are still some left!” replied Yang Jizhen.

”Then refine a few more! I’ll head to White Cloud Immortal City after some time to get more Void Nether Stones!” said Yang Zhenshan.

”No problem.”

Having successfully refined it once, Yang Jizhen found it much easier to refine again, so he agreed to Yang Zhenshan’s request without hesitation.

”Hmm, can an additional function be added on top of this?” Yang Zhenshan pondered and asked again.

”What function?”

”A verification function, so that only those holding the Token can enter the Spirit Source Land through it!”

Yang Jizhen thought for a moment and said, ”This isn’t difficult, but it requires redefining the restriction on the Jade Token!”

”Then redefine it! In the future, the Jade Token will be divided into three versions. The regular version just signifies identity, the transmission array version allows one to enter the Spirit Source Land through the transmission array, and finally, there’s the version with a Spirit Seed, which allows entry into the Spirit Source Land without using the transmission array!” said Yang Zhenshan.

Yang Jizhen nodded, ”No problem!”

Yang Zhenshan returned the Array Plate to Yang Jizhen and then asked, ”How is the refinement research on the Green Wood Purple Lightning Sword going?”

”I have already tried; it’s possible to refine the Green Wood Purple Lightning Sword at the magical treasure level!”

Yang Jizhen took out a green long sword.

The sword is four feet long, the blade covered with vine-like dark patterns akin to living creatures, from which a faint green light seeps out, with fragmented purple crystals embedded between the vine grooves like sealed lightning.

The sword hilt is wrapped with purple electric silver threads resembling dragon sinews, which spark dense arcs of electricity when infused with mana. As the sword is unsheathed, the blade glows with the fresh green of leaves, flowing with a purple thunderous glow, while the Yin Yang fish pattern along the blade’s spine with emerald Yang fish and dark purple Yin fish entwined within, electric arcs dancing ceaselessly along the patterns.

Taking the long sword to test, Yang Zhenshan nodded slightly, ”Not bad, although it cannot serve as a Lifebound Magical Treasure, it still counts as a fine magical sword!”

The Green Wood Purple Lightning Sword is not a Flying Sword, but a magical sword.

A magical sword refers to a sword artifact used to cast spells, and the Green Wood Purple Lightning Sword originates from the Qinghua Thunder Skill. Although it can also be controlled remotely, its essence lies in casting Thunder Skills.

The Green Wood Purple Lightning Sword refined by Yang Jizhen is a low-grade magical treasure, unsuitable as Yang Zhenshan’s Lifebound Magical Treasure.
