Journey of the Fate Destroying Emperor

Chapter 1780: 2-Star Ancestor Fiendgod

Chaos means danger, but also opportunity for Wang Wei. However, he hasn’t decided whether to participate yet. For him, achieving the 5-star Ancestor Fiendgod Realm was more than enough benefit in this secret realm. For once, he decided to control his greed and not put himself in the middle of the chaos.

A few days passed, and he finished reading all the books. His focus then shifted to the red stones on the corner of the space ring. ”Are those the Essence Source Stones?” he murmured. Essence Source cannot be found in nature, but over the years, this world’s civilization has developed methods to store it.

With a thought, Wang Wei absorbed a bit of its power, and his body screamed with joy; it was as if all his cells had been thirsty and had finally found a source of water. Wang Wei was surprised; he understood that the Essence Source found in stones was of the middle-to-low quality, yet even it had such an effect on him.

”Although the quality is not the best, they can still be of use,” Wang Wei thought. He did not immediately enter a cultivation seclusion. Instead, he used his blood to create two clones. He charged the first with building him a shadow organization to gather information, while the latter would be in charge of teaching the brat.

Finally, he focused on improving himself. The first hurdle he faced was the optimization of his body. His soul was the one optimized; he had to use a secret technique to transfer its ability to the flesh. If Wang Wei wants to enter the Ancestor Fiendgod Realm, he has to first optimize his flesh. Unfortunately, despite mastering the Will Domination, the secret world’s Heavenly Dao hasn’t recognized and helped him; he has to do it himself.

Luckily for Wang Wei, the process should be relatively easy. Years ago, when he was in the Primordial Spirit Realm, he divided his soul into two: one part remained and served as his soul, while the other was fused with his body. In other words, his soul and flesh were in harmony, and he just needed to use this connection to ensure the soul’s optimization is also the flesh’s optimization.

’My theory was correct,’ Wang Wei thought as the Essence Source Stone suddenly broke. With the aid of these stones, his optimization was drastically accelerated. He successfully completed it in just a couple of centuries. After taking this step, he could be considered a 1-star Ancestor Fiendgod. However, the next step was crucial: accessing the Primordial Essence Source.

Wang Wei has long learned the reason he never sensed or could even access the construct: he needed a Chaos Demon God’s bloodline as a guide. Families with only Fiendgod Bloodline or outsiders such as himself can only access the construct by using a token created from the blood of a higher bloodline. The baby — who Wang Wei blatantly called Wangchen by combining his and Chenli’s names — was not even aware when his blood was taken.

Wang Wei’s spirit ascended to an all-white world with a tinge of red. He glanced around, analysing everything. ”This should be the lowest level of the Primordial Essence Source,” he thought. However, even this level could be considered a holy land for all body refiners, and for a moment, a hint of greed flashed in Wang Wei’s eyes. If he could bring this Grand Construct home, the foundation of the sect would be unimaginable.

He shook his head. This was impossible. Give him enough time, and he dares to plot against this construct that probably belongs to one or two Grand Dao Saints. However, even if he had all the time in the world, he wouldn’t waste it doing such a thing. Instead, he could just cultivate the second step and either find a way to take it or create his own.

”Time is of the essence,” Wang Wei muttered. Willpower was the measure of how long he could stay in this place and how high he could ascend. Although he had the utmost confidence in himself, it was a wise move not to underestimate this world. So, he gathered all his strength before flying upward.

The world became redder the higher he moved; at some point, the color matched the Essence Source Stones, but Wang Wei did not stop. After reaching the deepest red, the resistance surged, but he did not stop. The layers above suddenly had a tinge of purple, a sign that the highest levels were in sight.

At this point in the experience, Wang Wei could not rely solely on his willpower; he had to manifest it and apply it correctly to break through the obstacles in his path. Finally, he found himself before a barrier that led to the highest purple-red layer, or the magenta layer.

After a few terrifying attacks failed to do anything, he realized what he needed to do: utilize his Will Domination. No hesitation was needed on his part as he tore apart the barrier before him and reached the highest level. As he glanced around, he saw countless spiritual marks, and he observed them.

”The layers indicate the quality of the Essence Source a cultivator can absorb, but the amount is based on how complex their spiritual, no, should be called [Essence Marks] are,” Wang Wei contemplated. He did not stay long in this place before ascending even higher.

Midway through the process, his spirit was incapable of moving an inch. He could detect the ceiling of this layer, but he was stuck at the midway point. ”Above should be for the people who have condensed their Saint Will Prototype,” Wang Wei muttered. He was one thin layer from that level, but that thin layer is the difference between Heaven and Earth.

Wang Wei sighed to himself; there was no need to worry. Before this secret realm ends, he’ll find a way to achieve it. If that doesn’t work, he’ll use the merit Kong brought him to condense an opportunity for enlightenment. His vision shifted to the marks around him, and after finding the most complex one, Wang Wei began to analyze and build his own.

In a state of absolute concentration, time is dilated a million times. Wang Wei noticed his surroundings only after making a mark that was 60% of the one he was studying. Then, a terrifying force pulled him out of that place to return to his body.

A soft groan left his mouth as he opened his eyes; his mind felt heavy, tired, and listless. Wang Wei swiftly swallowed a pill before closing his eyes to digest and return to his peak. The next step was obvious: a pure power descended from the void and into his body. His flesh — like a greedy and starving camel — absorbed the Essence Source at an alarming rate.

It didn’t take him long to reach the 2-star Ancestor Fiendgod Realm, but that’s when things started to get interesting. If he wants to reach the next level, Wang Wei not only needs to learn how to control the power of his Transcendent Foundation, but his [Gate of Ascension] has to fuse with his [Gate of Power]. The former was not a big deal for him, but he struggled a bit with the latter.

He needed more knowledge, more techniques, and more information about this world’s cultivation system to increase his understanding of [Essence]. Those things are also key to him crafting a more complex Essence Mark and accelerating his cultivation. The Fate Shadow Guards have just been established and need some time.

...

The void tore apart, and two people appeared in the kid: the beautiful and hot-tempered Chenli, and a handsome teenager about 15, with light pink hair, bright eyes, and a calm aura.

”Teacher,” Wangchen yelled after seeing Wang Wei’s clone casually drinking tea. He rushed to embrace him, but a barrier stopped him.

”Brat, I’ve told you many times, you’re too close to me. I’m not your father,” Wang Wei said.

”That won’t stop my love for you,” Wangchen replied, making Wang Wei secretly sigh. He was too lax in raising this brat.

”Why are you back?” he asked, not hiding the annoyance in his voice. A child cannot be raised in isolation, so Wang Wei allowed them to live in a small village in the nearby domain. Of course, he had set up countless protective measures around the village, including another Heaven Deception Array.

”Teacher, I’m fifteen.”

”And?”

”You missed my birthday,” Wangchen glared at him.

”And you missed mine. What’s your point?”

The young boy was not surprised by this answer; he knew how shameless his teacher could be.

”I want a present.”

”And I want remuneration for raising an ingrate brat for 15 years,” Wang Wei countered. ”The world is full of desire, but sadly, no one can have everything they want.”

”You —”

”His body has matured; it’s time for him to cultivate,” Chenli cut in before these two started arguing for hours.

”It’s already time?” Wang Wei muttered as he finally focused on the young boy.
