Ghost Catching System

Gu Tianqing breathed a sigh of relief, still impressed by Nan Xintianzi’s prowess, otherwise, Chu Hao would have been hard to suppress.

This Corpse Ghost Sealing Technique also summons Hell’s Evil Ghosts. It is said that Nan Xintianzi paid a great price to make a pact with the Corpse Ghost, even sacrificing his own kin.

Wary of the Corpse Ghost, Gu Tianqing said, ”There’s no time to waste, many must have noticed us by now. Let’s start opening the passage before anyone else comes to disrupt us.”

”Alright.”

Nan Xintianzi and Gu Tianqing headed towards the palace on the hill.

Upon arrival, it was clear that the so-called palace was no real palace but was built to conceal certain things.

Around the palace, a wide open space was arranged with various magic artifacts and formations, extremely complex.

Bo Long, looking somewhat recovered, asked, ”How confident are we in opening the path to Hell?”

Nan Xintianzi said, ”Fifty percent confident, but with Chu Hao as a sacrificial spirit, we’re up to sixty percent. Once the Hell God descends, all the opportunities in the Holy City will be ours.”

It turns out Nan Xintianzi and his group came to the Holy City with a plan to guide Hell’s deity to the Huaxia human world.

Bo Long, slightly excited, asked, ”How will the master reward us?”

Gu Tianqing laughed, ”Rest assured, once we open this path, we’ll be rewarded with a Hell Fruit each.”

The Hell Fruit is said to transform the soul, possibly leading one down the Hell God’s path?

”Let’s begin.”

The three of them positioned themselves in a triangle and began chanting.

Meanwhile, Chu Hao, absorbed inside the gourd, reached the edge where the gourd’s surface was covered in acid, sizzling upon touch.

Chu Hao muttered, ”This old crone has some skills, but does she think this can trap me?”

He threw a punch; the acid had no effect on his hand, demonstrating the power of the Silver Bone Curse Seal.

The gourd shook violently from within, as the three outside continued chanting, having achieved half the incantation, when suddenly the gourd at the Corpse Ghost’s waist vibrated, startling them.

Bo Long said, ”He’s trying to break out of the gourd.”

Nan Xintianzi waved confidently, ”Don’t worry, this is the Iron Gourd of the Netherworld Hell’s Iron Thorn Forest. The outer shell is tough, and the inner layer has acid. Attacking the gourd is courting death; he’ll soon settle down.”

As Nan Xintianzi said, after some time attacking, Chu Hao did calm down.

Nan Xintianzi watched the formation with a pale yet excited expression, ”Almost there.”

Below the formation, a pitch-black abyss slowly emerged, an eerie wind blowing in, with a hellish presence, the path gradually forming.

...

Netherworld Hell.

An Asura-like Evil Ghost, with sharp fangs and six arms, wielding a copper hammer, towering over thirty-five feet tall, enormous.

The Asura Evil Ghost rumbled, ”The path to the human world is about to open.”

”Inform our Ghost Path Saint Child to prepare for the journey.”

”Hahaha… finally, we can reach the human world.”

At the same time, the Hell Ghosts controlling the Netherworld Hell management urged their Heaven’s Chosen Evil Ghosts to prepare to head to the Huaxia lands of the human world.

”I, upon reaching the human world, shall return as a Ghost God and lead the Netherworld Hell to unify the true Hell,” a Ghost with a black and white face declared.

”I look forward to crossing paths with the Ghost Cultivators of the Yin Cao Netherworld,” a towering Evil Ghost said.

The Netherworld Hell’s Evil Ghosts prepared to set out; once the passage opened, they would head to the human world?

An Evil Ghost licked its bright red tongue, face shaped like a cone, with a sharp voice, ”Humans, a delight I long to taste! I wonder how delicious living people will be.”

The cone-faced Evil Ghost’s leader replied, ”Don’t kill too many living people.”

The cone-faced Evil Ghost grinned menacingly, ”Eating a little won’t be a problem.”

The Netherworld Hell’s Evil Ghosts began their preparations.

Inside the Iron Gourd, seeing his attacks ineffective, Chu Hao took a deep breath, stepped back, circulated his True Qi, and delivered a punch.

Holding Mountain Fist!

Instantly, a mighty force propelled by the punch slammed into the Iron Gourd’s inner layer.

It was like a mountain crashing into the gourd’s inside layer.

”Crack.”

The gourd finally cracked open.

Outside.

Below the formation, the black abyss revealing the Netherworld Hell’s path was visible to the anticipated Bo Long trio, waiting for the descent of the Hell God that would make the Holy City theirs.

Nan Xintianzi linked with the Corpse Ghost, preparing to throw Chu Hao into the abyss to fully open the path.

But just then, the Iron Gourd audibly cracked open!

”Impossible!” Nan Xintianzi gasped in shock.

Chu Hao stepped out of the gourd, wielding the Explosive Shark Knife, causing the Corpse Ghost to scream terribly, skillfully absorbing it with the Ghost-eating Talisman Pattern, making the blade’s aura even more terrifying.

Nan Xintianzi and the others were drenched in cold sweat, wondering how Chu Hao managed to escape.

Suddenly, Chu Hao saw below the formation, the massive abyss with a hellish aura rolling forth.

Faintly, Chu Hao could hear Evil Ghosts below discussing arriving in the human world to taste living humans, to unify Hell, and whatnot.

Chu Hao looked at Nan Xintianzi and asked, ”What’s this?”

Nan Xintianzi’s face looked troubled, not anticipating the Iron Gourd would break open; this was unprecedented.

Nan Xintianzi said, ”Find a way to stall him, the Hell Gods of the Netherworld Hell are about to arrive in this world.”

Bo Long shouted, ”Chu Hao, if you’re daring enough, come fight!”

Chu Hao didn’t even glance at him, eyes fixed on the abyss below. It indeed had the Underworld’s aura but wasn’t the Yin Cao Netherworld; it was Wo Country’s Netherworld Hell.

The Underworld is regionally divided: Huaxia calls it Yin Cao Netherworld, Europe and America call it the Netherworld, and Wo Country calls it Netherworld Hell.

Could it be that these three plan to summon the Evil Ghosts of Netherworld Hell to the human world?

If they succeed, won’t the human world fall into chaos?

But, with so many Evil Ghosts, killing them could greatly enhance my own power.

Bo Long saw Chu Hao paying him no mind and charged without hesitation, unleashing the Blood Soul Technique, with two gigantic bloody hands slamming down.

”Courting death.”

Chu Hao blasted through the bloody hands with a punch, swiftly advancing towards Bo Long, and struck with the knife.

Bo Long screamed in anguish, seething with hatred, but powerless against Chu Hao.

”I, I can’t die yet.”

Suddenly, Bo Long felt a searing sensation at the wound on his abdomen and looked down to see the Explosive Curse Mark placed there, his face paling.

”Boom”

His entire body exploded, dead beyond doubt.

Having dealt with Bo Long, Chu Hao unhurriedly said, ”Building this palace is just a ruse to summon Netherworld Hell’s Evil Ghosts here, quite audacious.”

Chu Hao wasn’t rushed, seeing that these three lacked the ability to let powerful Evil Ghosts step into the human world.

The old crone Nan Xintianzi sneered, ”This passage is already open. You want to stop it, it’s too late. Sit and wait for death.”
