Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Oliver:

My life was going well. In fact, I was having the time of my life.

Until I found out that the Alpha king brothers were planning something against me.

But I didn’t take it too seriously. They were wrapped around my sister’s little finger, so I knew they wouldn’t do anything.

I was pretty much calm.

And in a day, I was going to be done with Jenna too. She was so fucking boring.

I mean, I had a good time in the beginning because she was untouched and all, but after that, it kind of got repetitive.

I mean, how long can you keep having a one-night stand with someone?

A one-night stand is supposed to be a one-time thing. If it gets dragged on, it gets boring.

Like it had gotten boring for me.

Jenna’s birthday was coming up too.

The only thing I was a little worried about was that she might see me on her birthday and remember me.

I mean, I was hoping that wouldn’t happen, but still, considering how she had recognized just by looking at me that I wasn’t Theodore, I had a feeling she would recognize me the same way and realize I was the guy who had done all of that to her.

I had to be careful.

Thankfully, the blackmail was working. As far as I knew, even if she recognized me, she wasn’t stupid enough to open her mouth and say anything.

”Where is it?” I asked my sister as I arrived at her place.

The way she was sitting on the couch, combined with the fact that I’d heard the brothers had just left, told me there was good news.

”Come on, did it work?” I asked her, grinning. ”Did they come to you, get down on their knees, and promise they wouldn’t hurt your brother?”

I smiled, the smile reaching my eyes.

I swear, I could tell.

”No.”

Then, in one breath, my sister gave me her answer.

For a moment, my smile faltered, but only for a moment before I stretched it even wider.

”Come on, you think you can fool me? And, you know, this is a very serious matter, so I don’t think we should play games with each other,” I said, giving her a wink.

But she began to shake her head, looking even more distraught, and at that point, reality started to settle in.

”It is Ragnar who wants to pursue the investigation against you,” she said very softly.

And there it was.

The truth.

They were gonna pursue the investigation against me regardless of my sister trying to stop it.

”Wait, then what the fuck did you do? Did you not even try? How the heck did they not listen to you?”

I began to raise my voice at her.

She warned me with a harsh look, but fuck her. I was gonna get in so much trouble.

”You do realize I tried, and the Alpha Kings are strong enough to have minds of their own, right? I can’t always make them listen to me,” she snapped at me as I began to shake my finger at her.

”Oh, really? Now the Alpha Kings have a conscience? When they do all sorts of things for you, that’s fine. But the minute I ask for a favor, they remember their duties?”

I was losing my mind, and rightfully so, because, well, if they started an investigation into me, I was pretty much a goner.

”Well then, you should have kept your life simple,” she snapped, causing my eyes to narrow at her.

Really? She was the one who had made me do most of the fucked-up things I’d done to Verity.

”Do you want me to remind you what simple things you have made me do?” I began, watching her throat go dry.

”Why are we talking about it?” she asked hesitantly, her breath hitching.

”Listen, Gigi, if I’m going down, so are you,” I told her, watching her eyes widen as she realized she couldn’t fucking play me.

I wasn’t Verity or one of the Alpha King brothers who didn’t truly know her. I could fucking ruin her if she didn’t help me.

”And I’m pretty sure this whole investigation started because of that fucking Jenna. I’m telling you, she’s definitely telling Verity things. That’s why they’re stirring something up.”

Gigi gritted her teeth in anger.

”They’re doing something that’s drawing the Alpha King brothers’ attention to you,” Gigi said, making me grind my jaw hard. ”But what do you care? You want to marry her, don’t you? You’re in love with her.”

She teased me as she rolled her tongue inside her mouth, belittling me and my feelings.

”Well, if this is because of her, then she fucked with the wrong person,” I said confidently, and I wasn’t even lying.

”What are you gonna do anyway?” Gigi asked.

Her eyes went wide.

How did she know I had a plan?

I looked at her.

”I’ll use her as the next sacrifice,” I said, watching her eyes light up.

I lied.

That wasn’t at all what I had planned. I mean, that wasn’t the only thing I had planned for Verity.

Actually, I had a better plan for her.

”Yeah, I think that’ll be really good,” she agreed, not knowing exactly what I was capable of when it came to punishing someone who had wronged me.

And that included Verity as well.

All I had to do was use Jenna to lure Verity to a designated place.

And then fucking do to her what I had done to Jenna and blackmail her too.

Let’s see how she goes to the Alpha King brothers to complain about me this time.

”You’re coming to Jenna’s birthday tonight?” my sister asked, and I scoffed, shaking my head.

”Of course not. I’m not gonna risk anything,” I said in annoyance.

Previously, I used to be important at every one of their events because I was Gigi’s brother. But now those two disgusting women had made my life a living hell.

They had tried to ban me from my own luxurious life.

Now I’d like to see how they manage that.

Verity was so eager to play the savior, wasn’t she?

Now let’s see how she saves herself.
