Let’s Squander A Billion First!

Chapter 1938: Chapter 1938: Mirror World (15)

Yu Shi didn’t know what evidence Chuzheng had, but she felt that no matter what evidence it was, she wouldn’t win in the end.

So Yu Shi didn’t take this matter seriously at all and directly handed it over to the lawyer.

This time, she must make Yuk Chuzheng ruined.

However, unexpectedly, the lawyer suddenly called saying that the opponent had evidence, which was very tricky, and they needed to meet and discuss.

”Miss Yu, look...”

The lawyer used a tablet to open a webpage, showing it to Yu Shi.

”This was posted online by the opponent ten years ago, earlier than you.”

Yu Shi grabbed the tablet and stared at the images: ”How is this possible!!”

How could Yuk Chuzheng have posted such images ten years ago? She was still in high school then and hadn’t even studied fashion design...

Impossible!

Could it be...

No!

Impossible! Absolutely impossible! In this world, she is unique!

Yu Shi was unwilling to believe that someone else might have a method like hers to change the past.

Her eyes flashed, and she had a light bulb moment: ”Is this forged?”

”This is a foreign niche website with many works; it’s unlikely to be forged. Unless the opponent is the owner of the website and can change the timeline.”

”So it’s possible to be forged? Yu Shi said, ”I heard Dai Mi call her President Yuk, go check her identity now, she must be forging it!”

The lawyer hesitated: ”But... if we can’t find evidence that she faked it, we’re in trouble. Miss Yu, I need to know whether these design images are really yours.”

”Of course!” Yu Shi was determined and firmly accused Chuzheng of forgery: ”They must be faking it!”

After the lawyer left, Yu Shi looked at her phone with an uneasy mind.

No one online knows the current situation yet; they all think Chuzheng is being delusional and shameless, trying to sue the original author as a plagiarist.

”Why did her work appear ten years ago? She couldn’t possibly have such an encounter... She must be faking it, she must be.”

Yu Shi reassured herself deep down.

However, Yu Shi was bound to be disappointed; Chuzheng not only had internet evidence but also other proof showing the design drafts belonged to her ten years ago.

Despite Yu Shi having them ten years ago as well, Chuzheng’s timeline was earlier, and she had more evidence.

Yu Shi’s evidence was insufficient, and the case was unwinnable.

”Sister Yu Shi, quick, look at Weibo!”

The assistant rushed in urgently.

Yu Shi was in a panic, and upon hearing the assistant’s words, a bad feeling surged in her heart. She hurriedly opened Weibo.

Yuk Chuzheng V: Who copied whom? @Yu Shi [Image][Image]

Two comparison images, with Chuzheng highlighting the signature beneath the pattern. Because the pattern was the design feature, Yu Shi certainly copied it, but who knew just a change of angle turned it into a signature.

As soon as this image by Chuzheng was posted, the onlookers were dumbfounded.

Wasn’t Yu Shi the one being copied?

Why does the comparison show it’s Chuzheng who was copied?

[Slander! This is definitely slander! Yuk Chuzheng, who plagiarizes often, how could Yu Shi possibly copy her?]

[I don’t believe it either.]

[This is a big scandal, who copied whom after all?]

[Yuk Chuzheng, this plagiarizing dog, still wants to use such ruthless methods to slander Yu Shi, it’s simply wicked! Such a person doesn’t deserve to be a designer at all!]

[Looking at the comparison image, Yuk Chuzheng’s signature is in the design; if Yu Shi is original, why would she design Yuk Chuzheng’s signature? Coincidence? This coincidence is a bit...]

Even though most people were stone-headed, some were still rational.

[Don’t you think Yu Shi’s work style changes a lot?]

Finally, someone pointed this out.

But soon, someone jumped out to retort.

[That’s because our Yu Shi is talented and versatile, able to handle any style, aren’t you jealous?!]

[But... style change doesn’t happen overnight, you look at some of Yu Shi’s works, often one issue is this style, next issue is another style. The change is too drastic! And those early works, I think a lot had similar style crashes with big brands.]

Someone pointed it out, and immediately people went to look through Yu Shi’s works.

Indeed, someone found Yu Shi’s design styles were really changeable.

Not only that, but they could also find similar styled brands.

Except Yu Shi’s style dominance made it hard to accuse her of plagiarism.

Those guiding remarks online were of course done by Chuzheng finding someone to do it, she also prepared many contrasting images in advance.

Releasing them bit by bit.

If there are enough of such images, wouldn’t Yu Shi be suspected?

Wouldn’t those designers from big brands recognize their own style?

Once is a coincidence.

Twice is ideation synchronization.

Three times? Four times?

Can they always be ideation synchronized?

Chuzheng doesn’t need to do much; she just needs to make this matter big.

Even if those designers don’t have evidence and won’t find trouble with Yu Shi, it still brings a lot of trouble to Yu Shi’s work.

Yu Shi didn’t expect Chuzheng, who was silent for so long, to deliver such a fatal blow.

How on earth does she do it?

Is she also like her...

Yu Shi’s lawyer suggested that she first apologize to calm the online sensation.

But Yu Shi was unwilling.

If she apologizes, wouldn’t that be admitting it?

There must be another way!

-

Yu Shi hurried home, and Father Yu saw his daughter return, concerned and came out to greet her: ”Shi Shi...”

But Yu Shi didn’t have time to pay attention and went directly into her room.

”Shi Shi, what’s wrong with you?” Father Yu was startled and quickly followed.

But Yu Shi didn’t give Father Yu a chance for more questions and slammed the door shut, blocking Father Yu’s voice.

Yu Shi entered the room and immediately took out her phone, tapping it on the screen.

However, the screen stayed on her familiar desktop, with no changes.

Yu Shi looked at the time, pacing restlessly in the room, every second passed excruciatingly slow.

About half a year ago, because she was too tired from work, she fainted when she got home.

When she woke up, she found her phone was different.

She could communicate with herself ten years ago.

After the initial fear and shock, all she felt was glee and excitement.

This was heaven giving her a chance for a reboot in life; in novels, having such encounters was always the heroine.

Then followed everything that happened.

She sent her current work to her 2019 self, turning it into her cheating tool.

And because her 2019 self started learning drawing and design, she acquired this skill in the future.

Changing history doesn’t take long; as long as the other self takes action, she can reap the results in the future.

Of course, if the other self gives up, changes occur here as well.

These changes are detected by no one but herself.

She always felt she had the heroine script.

But this matter made Yu Shi start doubting.

She must figure out a way to resolve this issue; the plagiarism label cannot fall on her.
