Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Garion stepped through the door and entered the library. The moment he walked inside, the space around him changed.

Endless shelves stretched in every direction, glowing books floated through the air, and countless diagrams shifted across transparent screens.

Garion looked around and slowly nodded. ”Not bad. It’s been a while since I came here.”

Atlas looked at him.

[So now that you’re here, what are you thinking? What’s your idea about the weapons?]

Garion walked forward while rubbing his chin. ”About that... I’m thinking about Star Realm.”

Atlas blinked.

[Star Realm? I thought you were thinking about weapons.]

Garion turned toward him and shrugged. ”Of course I am. It’s just that a new thought appeared. What if I connect the two?”

Atlas narrowed his eyes slightly.

Garion continued, ”From what Rovak said, becoming a Star Realm cultivator basically means perfecting the body, mana, and soul until they resonate with cosmic mana.”

He then pointed at himself. ”But me, Dahlia, and the others from God Gym are different. After all, we possess God Physiques.”

He turned back toward Atlas. ”We basically absorb divine mana that continuously purifies our bodies, mana, and souls, so our growth has no real boundary, right?”

Atlas nodded.

[Yeah, that’s right. Didn’t I already tell you that before?]

Garion crossed his arms. ”Slow down, will you? I mean, about weapons... what if I don’t make a weapon just a weapon?”

Atlas stared at him and narrowed his eyes.

[Don’t play word games with me. Don’t think you’re a genius just because you can sound confusing. Say it properly.]

Garion laughed a little, waving his hand. ”Yeah, yeah, I’m sorry. The point is, I want to make a sacred relic or divine tool, whatever you want to call it.”

Atlas kept his eyes on him, listening.

Garion continued, ”It will basically be a tool that is part of us. Something connected to the body, mana, and soul at the same time, and something that can strengthen them together.”

He tapped his chest. ”The body feeds the relic. Mana activates the relic. The soul gives it identity.”

He clenched his fist. ”In return, the relic sharpens the body, refines the mana, and stabilizes the soul, creating mutual growth.”

Atlas stared at him silently for a moment, then directly argued with him.

[Hey, hey, hey. After hearing that, I admit it sounds kind of good, but did you forget that I told you weapons are supposed to be a training direction for this gym?]

[This sacred relic idea is for you, not the public. You don’t want to suddenly attract too much attention from those gods, right?]

Garion grinned. ”You worry too much. That’s the reason why I said this is still about weapons.”

He looked at the floating books about weapons around the library. ”For normal customers, I’ll create a cultivation and training system based on weapons.”

He pointed at himself. ”But for us, it’s the same idea as what I told you before.”

Atlas folded his arms and sighed.

[Damn it. Just do what you want, then. Don’t blame me if you attract those gods.]

Garion only laughed hard. ”Don’t worry too much. Let’s just see if the idea is feasible by checking whether a book appears here or not.”

The moment he said that, countless shelves moved. A thick glowing book slowly descended in front of Garion.

Its cover was blank at first.

A second later, words appeared across it.

[Sacred Relic]

Garion stared at the title and grinned wide. ”As expected. My idea is really feasible.”

Atlas looked at the book, then at Garion.

[Congratulations, bastard. To think your idea is really feasible.]

Garion placed his hand on the book and smiled. ”Of course. I’m a genius, after all. Now let’s see how far this library perfected the idea for me.”

---

Garion opened the book.

The moment his hand touched the glowing cover, countless lines of light spread across the pages.

The title [Sacred Relic] shone brightly.

Garion leaned closer with interest. ”Alright. Let’s see what kind of genius idea this library gave me.”

Atlas floated beside him with his arms crossed.

[Don’t get too excited. Anything related to gods is usually troublesome.]

Garion waved him off. ”Yeah, yeah.”

Then the first page revealed itself.

[Every true god possesses a Divine Relic, Sacred Tool, or Origin Weapon.]

Garion’s eyes narrowed slightly.

The words continued to appear.

[A Divine Relic is not merely a weapon. It is an extension of the god’s body, mana, soul, authority, and identity.]

[It is the proof of divinity, the vessel of power, and the bridge between mortal existence and godhood.]

Garion’s expression became more serious.

Atlas also stopped joking.

The next page turned by itself.

[This cultivation method exists to quicken the achievement of godhood.]

Garion’s eyes lit up. ”Oh?”

Atlas immediately frowned.

[That sounds dangerous.]

Garion ignored him and continued reading.

Soon, two different routes appeared on the page.

[Route One: God Physique Possessor.]

[Requirement: Possess a body capable of holding divine energy.]

Garion nodded slowly. ”That’s us.”

Then he read the next line.

[Step One: Die once.]

Garion froze.

Atlas blinked.

The page continued calmly, as if it had said something completely normal.

[After death, use the divine corpse as the foundation material to create the Divine Relic or Sacred Tool.]

Garion stared at the page.

Atlas slowly turned toward him.

[Well.]

Garion’s mouth twitched. ”Hold on.”

The book ignored him and continued.

[Because the God Physique contains divine energy in every cell, the corpse can become a perfect vessel. Once refined, the relic will contain the owner’s body imprint, mana imprint, soul imprint, and divine potential.]

Garion’s eyes widened. ”What the fuck?”

Atlas nodded seriously.

[I did warn you.]

Garion quickly turned the page.

[Route Two: Non-God Physique Possessor.]

[Requirement: Awakening Realm.]

Garion narrowed his eyes and continued reading.

[Before entering Star Realm, the cultivator must train the body, mana, and soul to absolute perfection.]

[The body must reach its limit.]

[The mana must reach flawless circulation.]

[The soul must reach stable self-identity.]

[This process may be accelerated through extreme training, combat pressure, weapon resonance, and life-death tempering.]

Garion rubbed his chin. ”That part sounds useful.”

Then the next line appeared.

[After reaching perfection, die once.]

Garion’s face went blank again.

[Use the perfected corpse as the foundation to create the Divine Relic or Sacred Tool.]

Silence filled the library.

Garion stared at the book.

Atlas stared at Garion.

The glowing book floated there innocently, as if it had just explained how to bake bread.

After a long moment, Garion slowly closed the book.

Then he opened it again.

The words were still there.

He closed it again.

Opened it again.

Still there.

Garion finally looked at Atlas.

Atlas raised both hands.

[Don’t look at me. This was your genius idea.]

Garion pointed at the book. ”My idea was weapon training!”

Atlas nodded.

Garion’s expression twisted.

He looked back at the title [Sacred Relic] and cursed from the bottom of his heart. ”Then... what the fuck is this cultivation method?!”
