Giant Dragon Lord: Starting from Daily Intelligence

Chapter 697: Chapter 491: Black Stone Territory’s Future Flying Dragon Legion

”ROAR?”

A low roar, filled with confusion and pain, escaped the Two-legged Flying Dragon King’s throat.

Its massive eyelids trembled violently a few times before snapping open.

They revealed a pair of dark red, vertical pupils, currently filled with chaos and vigilance.

’A strange environment!’

’A tiny human!’

It immediately spotted Raylo standing before its head.

A flash of savagery and cruelty crossed its eyes.

However, the next instant,

Its gaze landed on the... head floating beside Raylo.

’The Ice Wind Demon Head!’

The moment its eyes met the Demon Head’s empty sockets, a fear originating from the depths of its bloodline, from the very source of its soul, instantly overwhelmed its sanity!

’Catastrophe!’

’It’s the aura of a Catastrophe Level creature!’

Before that head, it felt like a tiny ant facing a colossal mountain about to collapse!

It couldn’t even muster the slightest thought of resistance!

Its huge body involuntarily recoiled, its massive head desperately pulling back as if trying to get farther, and farther still, from that terrifying head.

Its claws gouged deep marks into the hard plaza ground.

”Lower your head.”

Raylo’s voice rang out.

The Two-legged Flying Dragon King’s massive body froze.

Its instincts screamed at it to flee in terror.

Raylo stood quietly.

The Ice Wind Demon Head floated beside him. In its empty eye sockets, two points of ethereal blue Soul Fire flickered gently, as if stirred by a faint breeze.

VMM!

An even more powerful aura surged out like a tsunami, precisely enveloping the Two-legged Flying Dragon King.

CRACKLE... CRACKLE...

The moisture in the air instantly condensed, and a thin layer of white Frost began to spread across the Two-legged Flying Dragon King’s scales at a visible rate.

This was no ordinary Frost.

It was a deathly chill, imbued with the Power of Law from a Catastrophe Level being!

”ROAR!”

The Two-legged Flying Dragon King let out a pained Wailing.

It felt as if its blood was about to freeze and its very soul was on the verge of being torn apart.

In the face of an absolute threat of death, all of its pride was fragile and easily shattered.

The Two-legged Flying Dragon King collapsed to the ground, its massive body prostrate, not daring to make the slightest move.

Raylo looked down at the Giant Beast groveling at his feet.

”Submit to me,”

Raylo said.

”Become my servant. Otherwise, your flesh and blood will become food for my people, your hide and bones will become Alchemy Materials, and your soul will become sustenance for a Demon Monarch.”

A naked threat, simple and brutal!

The Two-legged Flying Dragon King’s body trembled violently.

It had no choice.

It could sense that this human before it would do exactly as he said.

That terrifying head was the best proof.

For a being who controlled the head of a Catastrophe Level entity, crushing it would be little harder than crushing an insect.

A low, humiliating whimper escaped its throat.

Signifying... its agreement.

Raylo extended a finger. A drop of crimson blood emerged from the tip and floated in the air.

Compared to the perilous and complex process of signing a contract with the Demon Monarch Agrean, establishing a Master-Servant Contract with this Two-legged Flying Dragon King was much simpler.

The blood transformed into a red light that instantly shot into the space between the Two-legged Flying Dragon King’s brows.

VMM!

A sharp pain emanated from the depths of the Two-legged Flying Dragon King’s soul as an irresistible brand was deeply engraved upon its very origin.

The contract was formed!

Raylo could clearly feel that an unbreakable Spiritual Link had been established between himself and the Giant Beast before him.

”Very good.”

Raylo put away the Ice Wind Demon Head, and the suffocating chill in the air vanished instantly.

He looked up at the powerful servant he had just subdued.

”Your first mission,”

Raylo said.

”Go to the Black Stone Mountain Range and find every Flying Dragon Race that dwells there.”

”Subdue them.”

”Then, lead them back here.”

The Two-legged Flying Dragon King’s massive head remained on the ground, a flash of astonishment in its dark red, vertical pupils.

’Subdue... all the Flying Dragons?’

Although it was at the Domain Level, the Black Stone Mountain Range was vast and boundless. There were quite a few powerful Flying Dragons within it, and even several competitors whose strength was equal to its own.

’This is no easy task.’

As if sensing its hesitation, Raylo’s voice sounded again.

”I need a Flying Dragon Legion.”

”I’ll give you one month.”

”Go.”

The command transmitted through the soul brand left the Two-legged Flying Dragon King with no room to disobey.

It let out a low roar in acknowledgment of its orders.

Then, it pushed its enormous body up, cautiously got to its feet, respectfully bowed its head to Raylo, and then powerfully flapped its massive Dragon Wings.

WHOOSH!

A fierce wind erupted, causing the banners in the plaza to whip and snap.

The Two-legged Flying Dragon King shot into the sky, circled once above Black Stone City to get its bearings, then became a large black dot as it sped away toward the Black Stone Mountain Range.

Raylo tilted his head back, watching it disappear over the horizon.

’A new Flying Dragon Legion...’

Soon, in addition to the Griffin Knights and Pegasus Knights, Black Stone Territory’s aerial forces would welcome a more powerful and ferocious unit.

...

「The next morning.」

The cool morning light pierced through the clouds, outlining Black Stone City with a faint golden edge.

A colossal creature lay quietly prostrate in the Black Stone City plaza.

The Cloud Sea Giant Whale.

Its massive body, like a Floating Island, emitted a soft, gentle glow, serene and mysterious.
