Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4391: Ways III

The Great Usurper’s formless awareness pulsed with profound discomfort.

Anyone having their power stripped away would show at least some emotion. Resistance, anger, fear, sadness...something. These Dead Existences act like it’s not just normal but ordained. They didn’t show even a flicker of hesitation....

Is their existence being influenced? Controlled? Have they been fundamentally altered to accept this hierarchy without question?

He didn’t know for certain, but the implications were deeply unsettling.

Meanwhile, Meliodas floated above the restructured Citadel, and the Great Usurper sensed his complexity had indeed increased...from 100 Quintillion to approximately 125 Quintillion.

Not because he directly absorbed this power. It was as if his very action and what it accomplished triggered something from his...so called Civilization.

Crazy...

The Great Usurper’s awareness rippled with fascination.

So this is what THE Dead Order’s True Civilization looks like. Systematic reduction of the many to empower the few...

They’ve eliminated individual will in favor of synchronized purpose.

He contemplated what he’d witnessed...the zealotry, the systematic power drainage, the absolute acceptance of reduction from powerful beings to effective nothingness.

What kind of reality are we facing if this is just one Citadel? How many of these restructured territories exist across the Lands of The Dead?

The questions spiraled through his consciousness without comfortable answers.

He remained Idle, his existence continuing to spread passively.

Let’s see...what Osmont knows about this. His voice reached even here, perhaps he has intelligence about what’s happening on this side of The Veil. And if not...

His formless awareness pulsed with determination.

Then I’ll continue observing. Continue spreading. Eventually, I’ll learn enough about THE Dead Order’s True Civilization to understand...ah, the Idle life is a great life...

The Great Usurper continued his idle expansion, his awareness drinking in every detail of this restructured Citadel while maintaining perfect invisibility through his environmental integration.

Whatever was coming, he would gather intelligence.

And hopefully, share it with Osmont before the accumulated knowledge became desperately necessary for survival.

That guy was the craziest existence he had ever met, if anything crazy was happening, he should be able to deal with it!

—

In a unique domain that could not be pinned to any specific location within observable existence, Noah’s declarations echoed with profound resonance.

”I defy, therefore I exist!

I refuse limitations, therefore I transcend!

I cultivate infinity, therefore...I need not fear the end!”

The words reverberated through a space of utmost Law.

The domain itself was hazy, ethereal in ways that made normal perception struggle to maintain focus.

Silver-white marble pillars rose from equally pristine floors, their surfaces so smooth they reflected nothing despite the abundant light.

The sky above roiled with clouds of mist that moved with purpose rather than wind, and white fog covered the surroundings in layers.

Here, in this domain of absolute Law, two figures sat cross-legged on the marble floor.

The young woman appeared apprehensive, her posture suggesting uncertainty mixed with awe at their surroundings.

The young man beside her maintained calm sternness, his features composed despite whatever transformation had brought them to this impossible place.

Both had undergone profound changes. Their bodies were drenched in silver-white brilliance of pure Law, hair shining with that same metallic luminescence.

On their chests, complex Enneagrams spun with rhythmic precision!

These two were...Alexander Asmodeus and Seraphina Valorheart!

The two holders of The Enneagram.

They turned simultaneously, looking around as Noah’s declarations faded, and surprise flashed through Alexander’s eyes.

”That voice...” he murmured, recognition coloring his tone.

Before they could contemplate this further, another voice emerged from ahead of where they sat.

”It seems that even in this era, others are also trying to pioneer their Way. If only it was not too late. If only...”

...!

The voice carried terrifically heavy weight...infallible majesty mixed with profound sorrow that made the surrounding Law ripple.

It emanated from a cluster of extremely concentrated Living Law authority...a singularity of silver-white brilliance that pulsed with the accumulated wisdom of eons.

Seraphina’s apprehension transformed into respect as she spoke carefully.

”O Remnant Will of THE Living Law,” she said, bowing her head slightly, ”what do you mean by... The Way?”

The singularity pulsed, and when it spoke again, the words carried simplicity.

”The Way,” it began, each word making the surrounding Law resonate, ”is the fundamental path an existence forges through reality. Not merely techniques or power accumulation, but the essential how of one’s being...the framework through which you interact with and alter existence itself.”

The silver-white light intensified slightly.

”My Way of Law was crushed eons ago during the formation of THE Loom. THE Living Paradox, may he burn in hellish Scales of Existence...dismantled my Civilization, shattered my frameworks, and used the brilliance of what I had built as raw material to form the backbone of others’ dreams.”

Something like bitter acceptance entered the voice.

”The Way is both key and building blocks of any true Civilization. It is the primary mechanism through which existence advances forward. Through it, beings transform from scattered individuals into unified purpose. Through it, power compounds rather than simply accumulates.”

The singularity dimmed slightly, as if the act of explanation cost it energy.

”But understand this critical truth: in the forging of Civilizations within THE Loom, all those who remain outside can be considered nothing more than fuel. THE Loom will erupt as the weapon of The Fallout...it will accomplish this by siphoning off all glimmers and signs of Civilizations external to itself.”

HUUUM!

The weight of those words settled across the domain.

”That voice you just heard, the entity declaring defiance and infinity...his forming Way and Civilization will simply become fuel for THE Loom when the time comes. It is akin to someone working diligently to prepare a magnificent meal, not knowing that soon, a force will arrive to extinguish them and slowly savor that meal in their place.”

The Remnant Will pulsed with sorrow.

”That is what lies in store for all of existence outside THE Loom. All those embarking upon their Way of Existence, building their Civilizations with hope and determination, not understanding they are merely cultivating resources for others to harvest. It is truly... a sad affair.”

...!
