Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4370: Collaboration and Civilizations I

In existence, no thread stands alone.

The strongest fiber, woven in isolation, remains merely strong. But threads bound together, supporting and elevating each other, become something transcendent...fabric that can bear weights no individual strand could dream of holding!

Collaboration.

The simple act of many working as one, of powers combined rather than competing, of goals aligned instead of opposed.

It is, perhaps, the most powerful force in existence. More potent than any individual strength. More enduring than any solitary achievement. More capable of reshaping existence than any lone tyrant could ever manage.

But collaboration requires trust. And trust, in a reality where everyone seeks advantage, where betrayal can mean power and loyalty can mean limitation... trust is the rarest resource of all.

Yet when found, when nurtured, when wielded with intelligence and purpose...

Collaboration becomes the foundation of Civilization itself!

---

The Earliest Folds, an unknown location.

An obsidian Nest of Inevitabilities stretched across impossibilities, its structure pulsing with hunger.

Within this Nest, surrounded by Inevitabilities that pulsed with potential, THE Living Paradox had taken form.

Not his true form...that would be too revelatory, too honest, too vulnerable. Instead, he wore the shape of an Inevitability itself, a construct of contradictions made manifest, tentacles shining brilliantly!

Into this impossible space, THE Weavers arrived.

One moment they weren’t there, the next they had always been there, as if causality itself had been retroactively adjusted to accommodate their existence.

There were three of them, though calling them ”three” was misleading. They were individuals and collective simultaneously, separate beings who shared consciousness, distinct entities who spoke as one.

When they spoke, their voices harmonized.

”Someone seems to have interfered with Anaximander.”

The statement buzzed in the air.

THE Living Paradox turned his Inevitability-form toward THE Weavers, his expression showing mild curiosity mixed with amusement.

”Interfered how?” he asked.

THE Weavers’ unified voice continued:

”Making it harder for us to gain his trust. Sowing seeds of doubt about our intentions. Suggesting that perhaps our guidance isn’t entirely selfless.”

They paused, and when they spoke again, frustration colored their harmonized tone.

”And because it is Anaximander, all weavings around him are cut off. We cannot track down the culprit. His existence refuses to be threaded into any pattern we create. We see threads approach him and simply... end. Cease. Stop being threads and become nothing.”

Their forms flickered.

”Should we worry about this? Could it be THE Creature beginning to catch on to our plans?”

...!

THE Living Paradox smiled.

”No,” he said with certainty that suggested absolute knowledge. ”THE Creature only just confirmed I had never been chained. He knows nothing of Anaximander. Our containment of THE Creature remains absolute. He sees only what we allow him to see.”

His smile widened.

”As for whether we should worry...”

He made a gesture that might have been a shrug if shrugging existed in the form he currently wore.

”Nah. If they were going to be anything major, they would do more than try to sow mistrust. They would act directly, intervene obviously, make themselves known.”

His tone became almost dismissive.

”It could just be an insect that came across Anaximander and said some profound things. Sometimes, even insects can be grand. Sometimes a random encounter sparks thoughts that change trajectories.”

He waved one approximation of a hand.

”Monitor it, certainly. But don’t waste energy worrying about every minor deviation in the pattern. The grand weaving remains on course. The Way remains on course. Civilization...remains on course.”

HUUUM!

THE Weavers stood silently for a moment, processing this assessment. Their unified consciousness considered angles and implications with speed that would have made lesser minds fragment.

Finally, they spoke again.

”How goes the progress with THE Living Emotive?”

THE Living Paradox’s expression shifted to something more satisfied.

”They are already by my side. Cooperation proceeds beautifully. THE Living Emotive has agreed to help forge our Sanctuary. Our higher levels of controlled Civilization.”

”Soon, we will begin the real work.”

He leaned forward slightly, and when he spoke again, his words carried heavy weight!

”Having multiple of us working on all this... this is what is grand. This collaboration is Civilization.”

His smile became triumphant!

”THE Creature is alone. We have isolated him beautifully. He stands singular, powerful but solitary, maintaining his principles while we...”

He gestured broadly, encompassing not just THE Weavers but the grand plan they were all part of.

”We embark on the path of a glorious Civilization! Multiple powers working together, combining strengths, covering each other’s weaknesses. THE Living Emotive, You three, Others joining as their self-interest aligns with ours....”

His voice carried conviction!

”This is how existence should work. Not solitary tyrants holding onto power through individual strength, but intelligent beings recognizing that collaboration elevates everyone involved.”

...!

THE Weavers nodded in unison, their forms stabilizing as agreement settled over them.

”Collaboration,” they echoed, their unified voice carrying approval.

THE Living Paradox knew with absolute certainty that came from eons of observation and planning, that collaboration was critical in the emergence of a glorious Civilization.

Individual power was impressive but limited.

Combined power, intelligently coordinated, became something that could reshape existence itself.

THE Creature might be stronger individually. Might possess capabilities none of them could match alone. Might be the most powerful single being in the Earliest Folds.

But he was alone.

And they were many, working together, weaving plans within plans, supporting each other’s ambitions while advancing their collective goal.

In the end, THE Living Paradox was confident that collaboration would prove superior to isolation.

The strongest thread eventually breaks.

But woven fabric endures.

And they...were weaving something magnificent!

—

Kael stood at the edge of their isolated domain, his hand raised before him as he watched blue Mana swirl around his fingers like living water that had learned to dance.

The sensation was intoxicating!

No, intoxicating was too simple a word. This was transcendent. This was the feeling of limitation being torn away, of potential that had been locked behind doors he didn’t even know existed suddenly flooding through every particle of his being.

His Mana Locus pulsed within his chest like a second heart, rhythmic and powerful, each beat sending waves of energy through pathways that had only just formed.

He could feel it growing, adapting, learning how to channel more with each passing hour.

The Way of the Mana Architect!

That’s what The Ancestor had called it. A method of existence that didn’t just cultivate power but constructed it, built it deliberately like crafting something with purpose and design rather than simply accumulating strength through time and effort.

Kael concentrated, and the Mana around his hand began to take shape.

A Weave began to form as blue mana wrapped around him!
