Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3984: Choices and Consequences! VI

As the bodies of Noah and Moiraine moved across the weavings of existence, their forms sliding through dimensions that existed parallel to normal existence, Noah maintained contact with Duke Gwendolyn.

Her guidance flowed through existence, directing their passage toward the Transcendent Temporal Folds where chaos bloomed like a flower of ending!

Yet even as this momentous convergence unfolded, another weaving of existence bloomed elsewhere.

In the Transcendent Spiritual Folds, where consciousness itself had been given form and substance.

Here, massive archaic white pillars rose from foundations that existed in multiple dimensions simultaneously.

These monumental structures stretched in all directions..up and down, left and right, forward and backward!

Between these impossible monuments, white tendrils of light swirled.

The very air seemed thick with compressed awareness, each breath containing fragments of memories that belonged to no single entity yet somehow felt familiar to anyone who dared to inhale them.

This was the place where spirits dwelt, where the essence of consciousness could exist independent of physical form, where thoughts themselves could take on lives of their own!

At this moment, near a swirling stellar cluster of light, the ethereal figure of a man could be seen floating with the grace of someone who had finally found his natural element.

The figure was composed of pure radiance given human shape, his form shifting between states of existence with each heartbeat.

Yet despite this ethereal nature, his features remained recognizable.

Pure light connected him to a few hundred other bodies that rotated around him like stars in a constellation dedicated to consciousness itself.

The man was none other than Eckert, the Great Usurper!

At this moment, his ethereal body burned with Living Spiritual Authority that flowed through his essence gloriously!

A prompt materialized before his consciousness with the gentle radiance of understanding finally achieved.

Your existence has successfully adapted to and integrated Living Spiritual Authority through the transformative influence of the Seed of Existence. Fundamental metamorphosis complete. Classification updated: Living Spirit. All previous restrictions on existential manipulation have been removed.

Another cascade of information followed immediately.

Due to the aberrant nature of your existence and the System of Existence that defines your fundamental existence, two possible evolutionary paths have been identified: Path of Active Existence- Actively spread your Living Spiritual essence across the Folds, latching onto other Spirits and conscious entities, gradually devouring and usurping their existences until their awareness becomes extensions of your own will. This path offers rapid advancement through consumption of accumulated wisdom and power. Path of Transcendent Idleness - Embrace your true nature and remain in a state of perfect inaction, allowing the natural flow of existence to bring opportunities to you rather than seeking them through active effort. This path offers sustainable growth through harmony with Existence.

WAA!

The Great Usurper gazed upon these two possibilities with the calm assessment of someone who had always known what his answer would be.

The choice between active consumption and perfect stillness was no choice at all...it was simply a confirmation of what he had always been at his core!

Was there even a need to ask?!

”I want to be idle,” he declared with the serene certainty. ”I want...to be free.”

The moment these words left his consciousness, reality itself seemed to exhale.

A murky stellar white-black radiance erupted from his position with the force of a new Wheel being born, spreading outward in all directions for light-years.

The Idle Gaming System is undergoing fundamental metamorphosis in response to your existence returning to its truest roots. All previous limitations and restrictions are being dissolved. New parameters established.

The Transcendent Spiritual Folds has been designated as a unique Living Existential Dungeon under capable of being influenced by your Idle Gaming System. This classification grants you unprecedented access to the accumulated consciousness and wisdom that flows through these Folds!

Idle Resource Generation Initiated: Every hour, you will automatically receive Loot directly related to the Weavings of Existence present within these Folds. Quality and quantity of Loot will scale based on the extent of your existential coverage within the domain.

Current Coverage- Your existence currently influences an unfathomably miniscule percentage of the total Fold structure. Coverage expansion will proceed through passive methods, your influence will spread naturally through simple proximity and time. Active Existential Parasitism remains available as an emergency option, usable once per day when immediate expansion is required.

...!

The ethereal form of the Great Usurper smiled as understanding bloomed within his transcendent consciousness.

His voice echoed across light-years of spiritual territory as he bellowed his acceptance of this ultimate destiny!

”Idle I shall be!”

HUUM!

Meanwhile, in the Transcendent Temporal Folds, where time itself had been given form and the rivers of causality flowed, a very different kind of transformation was taking place.

Near churning rivers of purple-blue Continuum that carried within their currents the compressed essence of past and future.

Duke Gwendolyn hovered above the temporal streams powerfully. Her stellar dark hair caught and reflected the light of flowing time, while her tan skin radiated warmth of terrible powerr.

Yet it was her eyes...those impossible orbs that resembled dozens of stacked Wheels of Existence...ah!

Behind her, arranged in formations, floated five hundred Honored Living Existences like a terrifying army of transcendent power. Each figure blazed with their own unique signature of authority, their combined presence creating waves of pressure that made the temporal rivers themselves flow faster in recognition.

Even further behind this magnificent display of power, ten thousand Prime Living Existences maintained their positions with the patient discipline.

The sight was breathtaking in its scope!

Beside Duke Gwendolyn floated a figure encased in obsidian crystalline armor that pulsed with Living Paradoxical Authority.

This was her other body, the manifestation of her ability to exist as both Origin and Paradox simultaneously, a living contradiction that somehow achieved perfect harmony through the simple act of refusing to acknowledge impossibility!

At this moment of perfect preparation, Duke Gwendolyn reached out, pinching the surrounding space between fingers that blazed with concentrated Living Origin Authority.

The fabric of existence responded to her touch like clay in the hands of a master sculptor, reality bending and twisting until it formed a wormhole that pulsed with energies drawn from every possible source of power.

From this impossible aperture, two figures emerged!

Noah floated forth in his stellar obsidian armament, the armor that Yoshinami had become flowing across his form like liquid darkness given purpose and direction.

Beside him, Moiraine appeared with the imperious bearing of a Paradoxical being!

Though her skin did not display the Kleos Glyphs that marked her ultimate achievements, anyone with sufficient sensitivity could feel the astounding power that radiated from her form...authority that no normal Honored Living Existence could ever hope to match.

Duke Gwendolyn’s ancient eyes sharpened as they focused upon Noah’s barely visible features, recognition flickering through her consciousness as she identified him. Her gaze then shifted to Moiraine, taking in every detail of the accumulated power that blazed from her transformed existence.

”You only have a single Honored Paradox in your employ?” she asked with calm precision. ”She may not be able to change much in this battle, regardless of her apparent capabilities.”

Noah smiled behind his concealing helm as he spoke.

”Underestimation is the cardinal sin of those who have grown comfortable with their accumulated power...the luxury of beings who believe that experience grants them perfect knowledge, that longevity ensures wisdom, that previous victories guarantee future success. The mightiest have fallen because they underestimated enemies they deemed beneath their notice! I know thr esteemed Duke would not possibly underestimate!”

HUUM!
