Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3479  Are You Free? III

The question was a simple and yet unfathomably complex one.

Was he free?

The choices that he made. The distortions of causality.

His entrance into the Purgatory Lands and his subsequent exit seemed to be part of a chain of reactions that caused all the things occurring right now. He thought of Vitalis and Vacuous.

He came from a place that could be considered a farm for Fruits of Existence- built upon the labor and weavings of others.

And even those who used to be mysterious entities that lived far above…were crushed under his heel in time.

He thought of the Infiniverse Megalos Seed and Ruination.

He thought of many things in this short span of time as…

Was he free?

”I am free.”

WAA!

He replied succinctly.

The choices that he had made were his own. There was nobody whispering in his ear telling him to take this step or that step. There was nobody forcing him to do anything.

But even while saying all of this, there was no denying that there could be an influence.

He made his choices, yes, but that was after he was put in certain situations. This was the influence and the complexity of interactions of others.

In all of existence, he was not alone. There were others with their own weavings resonating with him and countless more, and it was only through this unfathomable web of weaving that everything existed!

Interactions. Causality.

He felt it more and more at this moment, with him being truly severed from existence as he saw that his control over his interactions and lines of causality connecting him from one person to another could be modified or cut off in a way he could not do before.

So even with all of this considered, he still knew that he was free.

And yet this unfathomable being before him asked him such a question as he himself wondered whether he was free.

He was more advanced in complexity than he was. He had lived for more years than he had. He was even closer to the Wheel of Existence than he was. And even he questioned!

After he answered, the visage of Bob looked at him for a few seconds, staring deeply into his eyes as if he could peer through and understand the thought processes that led him here.

After a brief silence, Bob waved his hands and sighed as an illusory screen appeared in between them.

”This could be considered not too long ago in the variation of time depending on your complexity, or it could be considered days or months ago.”

”Right after The Change began, I left this frequency to go to one that is dominated by a group called the Logos of the Wheel. A band of creatures that formed many Cycles ago who made it their intent to intervene in many Frequencies of the Wheel. To appoint the right people in control for the sake of Order. To eliminate those who would impose chaos into certain Frequencies. It was all for the sake of the wheel of existence or so they said. But of course, behind every purpose, there is an uneven truer purpose. For many of them, it was to elevate the Complexity of their Existence. To exceed their paths of Pioneers and attain a Source, and experience even grander complexities across the Frequencies of the Wheel as only in this manner can one truly get close to the Wheel of Existence.”

WAA!

”One frequency could have a resource or an item that was helpful in elevating oneʼs complexity, and if one remained in a single Natal Frequency, they may never be able to advance. So the Logos of the Wheel formed to serve themselves and others. They had been at odds for most points over the Cycles with another group intent on keeping the flow of the Wheel as it should be…the Watchers of the Wheelomachy”

…!

The Logos of the Wheel!

The Watches of the Wheelomachy!

Noahʼs weavings heard these terms not for the first time as he remained placid- with him having gotten some answers out of Barbatos in Hell Terra Firma after she let go of her reservations!

He had to pry them out of her, but he had his means that even caused her to tap out in the end.

So he continued listening calmly as the illusory screen conjured up between them showed a scene of Bob crossing untold complexities to arrive above a sea that held a single man.

The intricacies of this illusory screen were so unique that Noah didnʼt feel like he was just watching it, but it was radiating a light of weaving that allowed him to feel as if he was right there. As if he was in Bobʼs place in that incandescent sea.

The scene was paused as Bob looked at it while continuing to speak.

”As a watcher, I have lived many cycles ensuring that people jumping between Frequencies or those coming where they should not, or doing what they should not- are returned to their rightful places. This fixes chaotic events or simply aligns things before the Wheel of Existence itself fully straightens out how things should be.”

”I and many others knew of a coming Change, and I even sought out unique individuals and sought to help them as this Change came. But the way this change occurred felt…filthy. Dirty. As if yes, it was supposed to occur, but this was not the way nor the time that it should have bloomed. And so, I sought answers from those responsible. The ones involved in the Point of Origin where many of these things unraveled. And so I went to another Frequency to ask questions and likely start a War.”

HUUM!

The scene between them finally began to play out as the brilliance of the weavings pulsating from it made Noahʼs eyes feel like he was involved within the scene itself. He felt the waters below his feet as he looked towards the distant figure of a man who turned towards him, towards Bob, with a complicated expression. And in the scene, Bob waves his hands to show images of two entities.

One was someone that Noah was extremely familiar with, having been exploring every inch of her body recently. The other was a man with a cold expression on his face. It was the two beings that held his Blancverse in place while he was swallowed by the light of Hell Terra Firma!
