Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3470  A Change! II

There was genocide- the act of horror of decimating and wiping out an entire group of people.

And then there was Megalocide.

The action of wiping out entire Megalos.

Very few had the power to do such a thing. Very few could even comprehend, or think about such a complex issue. The Watchers were entities that fit such a description due to their complexity and power!

At this moment, a heavy silence settled as they watched the Expanse crackling all around them, and the Great Sage sighed.

He raised his hand as weavings of Anti-Matter bloomed on his palm, and he felt the levels of Atmospheric Weavings of Existence in the surroundings. They continued to get less and less, as it was very easy to imagine what sort of problems could arise from such a phenomenon in the future. And the Great Sage closed his eyes as he mumbled something only he should have been able to hear.

”Is this it? Were we truly powerless to stop it?”

...!

Was this it?

He asked such a question because the Watchers had long known that something was coming. A Change. And they just did not know what the change could be. In recorded history, there had been many events that they looked at as the potential sources of the change, but they never led to anything. This one though...they seemed powerless to stop it if it was truly the one.

The Erasure of entire Megalos was not something that he could do alone in a short period of time.

He needed the others to agree, as there were many who backed Bob. If he was not convinced of Megalocide, many would not be.

And what it meant…was that they would not be able to do anything at this moment but continue to Watch.

Was this the right choice? Was it truly the proper path and stand to take in the face of this unfolding phenomenon that none of them could say, with certainty, what it truly stood for?

There was no answer as the mirror-like fractures continued to spread across the expanse.

A distance away.

The eerie silence of the battle near the Immovable Sacred Palace of the Expanse was broken by the sounds of space shattering.

Many turned around to witness Strings of Existence snapping rapidly around them as it was followed by the Expanse itself having cracks spread out- and then tendrils of gray energy blooming from these cracks!

Instantly, all of them felt the rapid drop in the levels of Atmospheric Weavings of Existence.

What others needed to replenish, communicate with, and resonate to ensure a smooth flow of existence.

The very same weavings that were distorted whenever an Existence Severing powerhouse or a Pioneer made a move to alter the surrounding existence.

Because there was an abundance of weavings of existence, they were able to effect great change and unleash stupendous capabilities.

But if these very Atmospheric Weavings of Existence began thinning out, just what would happen? Nobody knew as at this moment, the figure of Ozymandias raised his head and looked at this phenomenon.

The cracks.

The tendrils of gray energy.

They were familiar!

None of this was coincidental, where somehow the moment that his other half was seeking to leave Hell Terra Firma, the phenomenon of the Unraveling of Existence became even worse. He knew it was connected to him.

He knew that if his other half made the sacrifice and chose to remain in Hell Terra Firma, this unraveling may be stopped, slowed, or gone entirely!

And so, a choice came.

Should he proceed with the path that he was on where he would be able to return to his home, and be able to bring his family from a barren place where their lives were capped, and would likely perish within a hundred or a few hundred years?

Or should he turn back. Forget about Noah Osmont.

Live his life in Hell Terra Firma and die in time.

Maybe over time, be able to see his family as they were taken out of the Miniaturized Havens.

Maybe.

”...”

He closed his eyes as he felt the profound changes all around him.

As he felt his own weavings of existence.

DUM!

He felt the beat of his heart.

His mind buzzed as the memories of Adelaide, Henry, and his Mother arose.

His mind buzzed as he thought about his own future.

And…he already knew the answer. His mind had never wavered.

Not once!

HUUM!

His eyes opened with ferocity and valor as he bellowed out.

”Come!”

…!

Whatever may come.

Let it come.

His roar was guttural as far from here, the figure of Noah that was crossing a certain channel…proceeded ahead with even more tremendous speed as his complexity was fully waking up the further across he went!

And after a second…his body burning with complexity saw the surface of a churning sea ahead.

And…

POP!

The glorious visage of Noah Osmont appeared above a multicolored sea.

It was a moment that would be unforgettable in his Weavings of Existence and the Weavings of Existence of many other entities.

The moment he arrived above the sea, a dazzling cylindrical channel followed his path and solidified itself!

It looked like a wormhole beginning to form as the very center of the Frequency Gateway was constructing an extremely solid pathway for the traversal of one side to another.

But the more this pathway solidified…

BOOM!

It eventually led to an eruption of an unfathomably heavy and complex blast of light.

A blast of gray brilliance that propagated from this place, from Omniverse X-999… and spread out all around.

Across the Omniverses of Megalos Ynnere.

Across complex weavings of existence towards the Megalos Beyond. Across into the Megalos Nihilos!

The complex blast of gray radiance truly spread out from one point and covered all the Megalos!

A choice was made.

”Ahh…”

And a man brimming with complexity looked around as he felt the boundless waves of mana seething within him.

As he felt the severed Weavings of Existence as well as the unique resonance of the surrounding existence in response to him.

He was the first man to cross Hell Terra Firma and back.

It was Noah Osmont!
