2748 The True Emperor of Quintessence Gazes at the Senatus! I

At the words of the Extremity of Foundation, arcs of light flashed from the eyes of Erikson in the distance as he was roused.

Noah himself was calm while hearing that the Senatus of Extremity was calling for his presence!

This was the Senatus of Extremity.

The governing body of the Nether Havens of Extremity!

The most prestigious Entities were a consortium of the Seven Clans and the most renowned and powerful Aeonic Inheritances.

There were 81 Seats currently active which made all the major decisions, and there were the figureheads of Legions of Vitalis Hyperversal Extremities who could be mobilized with a wave of their hands.

”To be called before them would normally feel like a high honor, but why does it feel like something is off?”

Erikson rose up while saying such words, his father giving a light sigh as even he knew there were too many things at work.

In the vastness of it all, he was only a Tier 3 Hyperversal Extremity.

He may be significant and full of power, gaining the awe of the vast majority, but when the governing power of the very Havens was involved, even he felt small!

He turned towards Noah who didnʼt seem to have any significant reaction to his words as he continued.

[It is not up to us to determine, but an Ancestor will be here soon to act as the bridge-]

[An Ancestor? Why do you make me seem so old?]

BZZT!

Space twisted and tore.

A white light flashed as from it, an old woman with a cane flickered into existence, her voice full of power and regality as every time she walked, her cane rang out resonantly!

Seeing her figure, Erikson smiled and walked forward to support her as he spoke with care.

”Wise Granny, why are you getting involved in messy matters like this? Itʼs not good for your heart, and we know youʼre only getting older.”

The words were ones that even a Zenith Tier 3 Entity would not dare utter, but Erikson uttered them freely as the aged hand of the Seer of Sima moved to smack his hands away with a harrumph.

[My heart may have been getting old days ago, but it feels renewed with life and vigor after I got myself a new bloodline. A bloodline…that seems to be connected to our new friend here.]

…!

Her gaze became locked on Noahʼs clone, and Noahʼs eyes were calm as he looked back at this Entity!

The one who had been capable enough among those who had joined his Lineage to send messages to him across it, with her voice ringing out incessantly every now and then.

He now gazed at her face to face as he could feel his lineage brimming powerfully within her.

PA!

Her cane resonated on the Aurora of lights around them as she walked towards him.

Her figure was adorned in a white robe that matched her vibrant hair, a hazy white light pulsing on her skin that gave off a feeling of age and power!

Her face was that of a wizened old woman, and yet it still held a sense of impeccable beauty as she smiled while coming a few feet away from Noah.

[Is it you? The one Iʼve been speaking at with no replies this whole time? Or is that too outlandish to even imagine?]

…!

Her first set of words were probing ones as Noah smiled while he replied without a trace of authority.

”Whatever could the Young Miss mean?”

[Hah! Young Miss? Iʼve never been referred to as that for the last thousands of years!] The Seer of Sima laughed at Noahʼs words as her gaze turned even more piercing, staring at Noah silently as she continued.

[Well, no matter. Whatever the truth is will be revealed in due time. The busy little Senators are seeking to understand things just like me, and then there is your War with the Avernus Clan that they wish to discuss. Are you agreeable to appear before them?]

The figures of Erikson and the Extremity of Foundation off to the side gazed at each other with slight shock at the way that the Seer of Sima was talking to Noah.

She sought his opinion on whether he would appear before the Senatus of Extremity or not, as if he could say no and she wouldnʼt push it!

Since when was the Seer of Sima like this?

Facing her gaze, Noahʼs eyes flashed with interminable majesty as he placed his hands behind his back while replying.

”Just because others call for me, does not mean I will scramble to go to them. I will not send even my clone to their Chambers as the most I can do for the Senatus of Extremity…is to send a sliver of my soul to listen to them.”

Not his main body. Not his clones.

A sliver of his Will at most!

His words were filled with tyranny as the Seer of Sima nodded, her hands waving and causing a crack to appear in space as Noahʼs eyes saw a dense number of Crimson Hyperversal Havenly Extremity Rune Scriptures swirling with this single move.

[Iʼm here to act as the bridge connecting the two sides. With the authority I have, I can transfer your trace of soul directly into the Chambers of the Senatus of Extremity through Old Fool Melchiorʼs Seat. As for how things will turn out after that…even I donʼt know.]

HUM!

The crack in space pulsed as it distorted space and time, forming a bridge from this location and towards the Haven of Andromeda where the Chambers of the Senatus of Extremity were currently meeting!

Noah gazed at this forming crack as a sliver of his will containing a small trace of his soul leaked out from his head, forming into an illusory figure of him that was draped in a white gold Emperorʼs Robe, his fair illusory skin shining with brilliance as his dark hair flickered with stellar streams of colors every now and then.

He thought of many things, Oraculum and even the Protagonist beginning to be put to use as he wondered whatʼs gains or possible losses could be made from meeting the governing body of the Senatus of Extremity as after a moment, his illusory body composed of a trace of his soul nodded towards the Seer of Sima and stepped towards the spatial crack!
