Royal Secret: I'm A Princess!

1009 THE SPECIAL ONES

”PRINCESS NEOMA, do you think this is fun?”

Oops.

Neoma cleared her throat after getting scolded by Manu. ”I know this is a problem, but it is fun. Plus, shouldn’t I be asking my lord instead as to why this is happening?” She raised an eyebrow at the Moon Priest. ”Isn’t the Dead World supposed to be under your control, my lord?”

It was Manu’s turn to clear his throat after being slightly nagged. ”I’m ashamed to say this, but I’m not sure why this is happening. However, I believe this is because of Princess Neoma’s presence and influence.”

Wow.

”My lord, you really found a way to blame me. I’m sorry, but you can’t gaslight me. I will never let a man gaslight me when I know I’m innocent.”

”Gas— what? What does it mean?”

”Don’t fret the small details, my lord.”

Manu just sighed. ”Anyway, I can’t freeze the time here forever. We still need to find Duchess Quinzel.”

”Duchess Quinzel?” the (not) Lewis asked, whipping his head in Neoma’s direction. ”What do you need the duchess for?”

Oh.

This Lewis probably thinks we’re aiming for Duchess Amber Quinzel.

”As expected, you’re a threat to the empire,” the (not) Lewis said, drawing his sword. ”I’m sorry, Lady Quinzel. But I have to stop you here.”

And then the (not) Lewis pointed his sword at Neoma.

Manu, who knew how loyal the (current) Lewis was to his princess, looked shocked and a bit amused to see things unfold that way.

In short, the Moon Priest was enjoying the show.

But there was one person who was clearly not amused.

The (current) Lewis growled angrily, his golden eyes glowing menacingly while glaring at the (not) Lewis. ”Evil.”

Pfft.

The (not) Lewis immediately turned around and used his sword to block Lewis’ punch.

That was the only reason the sword remained intact after blocking Lewis’ fist which was covered with his golden Mana.

Ohh… impressive clash.

Lu of the Dead World was a Sword Master.

However…

”A Silver Fox doesn’t need a sword,” Lewis said, mocking the other Lewis who became a Sword Master in that world, in a complete sentence. ”You only need your body as a weapon.”

Right?

Just like the de Moonasterios.

”Lewis,” Neoma called his name fondly. ”Knock him out.”

”As you command, Princess Neoma.”

Lewis’ second punch completely broke Lu’s sword…

… and then Lewis kicked Lu in the face, knocking out the latter.

Neoma smirked proudly.

That’s my One-Kick Lewis.

Needless to say, Neoma ”raised” One-Kick Lewis better than how Nero ”raised” the Sword Master Lewis of the Dead World.

Heh.

Nero, I won.

WHAT’S happening?

Hanna was confused, and yet the Pirate Princess Hanna wasn’t giving her time to think.

”What did you do to my people?!”

Haaah.

Hanna raised his hand, using her Shadow Veil to block the hundreds of shadow blades that the Pirate Princess threw at her. ”Calm down, Miss. I didn’t do this.”

By ”this,” she meant everyone in the ship— no, everyone in the port town— suddenly freezing. As soon as they disembarked, the people around them froze as if the entire world had ceased to exist.

10:22

Everyone but us— the two Hannas— that is.

Hence, it was understandable why Hanna was getting blamed by the Pirate Princess.

Her temper is something, though.

”At least listen to me first,” Hanna said, trying to be as patient as she could. ”I don’t have the power to freeze time.”

”If you are truly my ancestor, then you have the power to freeze time like I do!”

Hmm?

That was shocking.

”You have the power to freeze time?” Hanna asked in disbelief. ”How? The Quinzels are the masters of the Shadow Manipulation Technique. How is that related to freezing time?”

Now it was the Pirate Princess’ turn to look confused.

Fortunately, she stopped attacking Hanna as if she was trying to see if Hanna was lying or not.

”Is it because it’s a technique that I recently developed?”

”What are you talking about?” Hanna asked. This time, she was starting to feel impatient. ”What technique?”

”The Black Hole.”

Oh.

Hanna should have known.

The Black Hole seemed to be the greatest technique that House Quinzel had ever developed.

However, the Black Hole is also the technique that supposedly killed me in the first timeline. How did I end up dead when the Black Hole that the Pirate Princess developed seems to be already complete?

Hanna had so many questions, but the Pirate Princess was looking at her suspiciously so she kept her questions to herself in the meantime.

”The Black Hole can freeze time,” the Pirate Princess said. Fortunately, she brought it up first so Hanna didn’t have to ask. ”Things that come near the Black Hole’s edge get frozen in time— whether they are humans or items. However, it’s a dangerous technique that wouldn’t hesitate to absorb even its user. Hence, I am yet to master the technique.”

Ah, that was why.

In the end, the Pirate Princess didn’t get to complete the Black Hole Technique.

But this Hanna is still better than me at controlling the Black Hole. Maybe if we work together, we can complete the technique? Then, perhaps, I’ll finally be able to wield the Black Hole without dying.

”Hanna, annyeong~”

That weird greeting…

Hanna looked up, and then she smiled at the face that greeted her.

It was Neoma, as expected.

The Imperial Princess was with Lord Manu and Lewis— and all three were suspended in the air.

Hmm?

What’s that?

Lewis had an unconscious person draped over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Hanna couldn’t see clearly because Lewis was standing behind Princess Neoma.

Did they kidnap someone from this world already?

”Hanna, we need to go,” Neoma said, pointing at the Pirate Princess. ”Knock her out.”

Oh.

Hanna smiled and nodded. ”As you command, Your Imperial Highness.”

NEOMA wouldn’t say that she was surprised to see the Pirate Princess still moving despite Manu freezing the Dead World.

But it was okay since it was still Hanna…

… oh, wait.

The sudden shift in the air made Neoma stop her idle thoughts, and then she looked around.

Someone powerful was headed towards their way.

That meant it was someone who didn’t freeze as well.

Neoma smirked, already expecting who the ”guest” might be. There were at least two people she was expecting, but she was kind of leaning toward ”that” one.

The obnoxious genius is here.
