Chapter 1626  Objectives III

Grey bowed slightly towards the Second Prince, he was a little curious as to why the Second Prince was searching for him, ”Your highness.” ”I need you to go on a secret mission for me.” The Second Prince didnʼt delay and quickly told Grey the reason he was searching for him, ”Thereʼs a treasure that Iʼve been grooming for a few years, and itʼs close to the time of its maturity. However, there are a few people who have their eyes on it. They all know it belongs to me, but the thought of passing on such an opportunity seems hard. I need you to help me guard it.” ”In a month at most, itʼll be ready.” Grey didnʼt show any reactions, but internally, he knew that it was impossible for them to stay here for another month. One of the reasons he came here was to hasten his plan to kill the First Prince, even if he canʼt kill him before he leaves, he wants to weaken him to the state where it wonʼt be too difficult for the Second Prince to kill him. ʼStaying for another month is not possible. I canʼt even figure out when the Gnomes will finally force their way back from the Godʼs tomb. They mustʼve already known that itʼs all just a ruse by now.ʼ Grey bowed to the Second Prince and suggested, ”Instead of waiting, why not make use of those people to hasten the maturity of the treasure?” The Second Prince raised a brow, ”Oh,” indicating for Grey to go on. Grey continued, ”You see, itʼs a natural treasure, so it naturally requires a lot of treasure if you want to hasten the birth of it. The value of the treasure naturally determines if the sacrifice is worth the reward. As long as the treasure is something that holds a lot of value, then using a lot of lower graded treasures for it isnʼt a bad thing.” ”Since Your Highness has been the one feeding it all this while, why donʼt we make the others invest in it? They will think they can acquire it if they make it mature faster than the time itʼs originally supposed to, whereas they will be helping you since Iʼll definitely get it in the end.” The Second Prince thought about Greyʼs words and didnʼt see anything wrong with it. Since these people have had their eyes on the treasure all this while when he was feeding it so many treasures, they are aware of the properties of the treasure and could also hasten the maturity. In the case of this treasure, hastening the time wouldnʼt affect it at all and it will still come out perfectly. The Second Prince took a deep glance at Grey, he didnʼt think about this. Although he was the one who was feeding it treasures all these while, he didnʼt think of making use of othersʼ greed to hasten his treasure. With that treasure, he will be able to quickly break through to the Late stages of the Sovereign Plane. He will not only catch up to the First Prince, but he will also be able to surpass him. Very few people knew about this treasure, but he knew that some top families were aware of it. The reason he didnʼt let the Emperor know of it was because in terms of cultivation aptitude, the Seventh Prince surpassed all of them, and the Emperor has always had a soft spot for wanting to hand any cultivating enhancing treasures to the Seventh Prince. The Seventh Prince has been able to grow this quickly partially thanks to the Emperorʼs support. Although the Emperor tries to be discreet about it, the Second Prince is aware of this. ”Alright, but if the news comes from me, they will be aware of the possibility that it might be a trap.” The Second Prince said to Grey. ”Thatʼs why Iʼll be the one to go.” Grey stepped up, ”Since they have their eyes on it, they will definitely have people watching it. All I have to do is go there and offer some treasures. Once they see me, theyʼll understand what Iʼm trying to do and follow suit.”

The Second Prince was once again very impressed by Greyʼs thought process. In a few seconds, he was able to come up with a way to not only make the treasure grow faster, but also ensure that no one knows itʼs a plot from the Second Prince. ”How confident are you in taking it?” The Second Prince asked the important question. ”One hundred percent. Even if a Late stage Sovereign appears, as long as theyʼre not above the Seventh stage, Iʼm sure I can escape. Besides, itʼs not like Iʼm going to be in any danger. The trick of taking things like these is to let others do the work for you.” Grey replied confidently. He isnʼt as fast as a Late stage Sovereign, but he has two amazing Space Elementalists with him. With the bunny leader and Void, he was a hundred percent certain that they could sneak into the storage ring of anyone there. All he needs to do is wait it out while the others fight, before letting them sneak in and take all the treasures, including that of the person who takes the treasure. In fact, his plan was to wipe them all clean. ”If you fail, the punishment is death.” The Second Princeʼs expression remained the same, but Grey could feel the immense killing intent locked on him. Grey didnʼt flinch from this, he smiled and said reassuringly, ”Youʼve worked with me on a few occasions, have I ever let you down?” The Second Prince chuckled and gave Grey the location of the treasure and a few things he can use to hasten the growth of the treasure. Grey looked at the things given to him and couldnʼt help but suck in a deep breath. If Klaus and the others saw these treasures, they would lick their lips. The fact that the Second Prince was willing to use these things to hasten the maturity of another treasure shows just how powerful that treasure is. ʼIʼm definitely going to take it for myself.ʼ Thereʼs no way Grey is willing to let the Second Prince get his hands on something like that. The Second Prince is already difficult to deal with as it is, it just cultivation realm soars within a short period, faster than Greyʼs own, he will be able to break free of Greyʼs control. Although the technique looks omnipotent, itʼs all under the premise that the difference in cultivation stages isnʼt too large, if not, the person can break free from his control. Not just that, but they will be aware that they were under his control. Grey was quite curious about what the treasure could be. From the map he got from the Second Prince, he also found the perfect spot to train his physical body. According to the Second Prince, there was a place filled with poison miasma. The poison miasma in the Gnome world is stronger than that of the Aurora Continent, Grey not only wants to use it to strengthen his body, but he hopes to increase the strength of the poison miasma in his body.

Before leaving, he went to his friends to tell them of his plan to cultivate there. ”Youʼve gone mad.” Klaus replied the moment he heard this. He knew that Grey had gone into multiple poison miasmas before, but the strength of the one in the Gnome world is stronger, which they are well aware of. ”I need it to grow stronger. Also, with the help of what the Second Prince wanted to take, if we share it, even if our cultivation doesnʼt increase as rapidly as it should when one person takes it, it will still be faster than it is at the moment.” Grey explained. ”And the First Prince?” Klaus asked. ”Weʼll have to discard the thought of killing him, Iʼll leave him to the Second Prince.” Grey answered. ”The Second Prince will know youʼre the one who took it.” Reynolds warned. ”You seem to forget that I have him under my control, and when Iʼm controlling him, he will have no memory of what happens during that time.” Grey had everything planned out. He will indeed hand the treasure over to the Second Prince, but he wouldnʼt give him the time he needs to use it. He will leave with his friends, and then control the Second Prince to hand it over to them after theyʼve left. A teleportation array has been placed in the Second Princeʼs room, so taking him out of the Palace without anyone being aware is simple. Grey wanted to play with the array in the Palace, but the realm difference with who created it was too large, the only thing he was able to do was make it impossible for the array to sense his teleportation array when itʼs used. And he knows thatʼs all under the premise that the creator of the array isnʼt in the Gnome world. The group planned everything and left at the same time. Grey couldnʼt take the risk of leaving them there, so he had the Seventh Prince sending them out before he left. This will quell the Second Princeʼs suspicions.
