Chapter 297: Chapter 297: God-level Asura Armor

After Jiang Hengyue and his son Jiang Liufeng had their reunion, Ye Yun left Star God Island with Jiang Hengyue. Jiang Liufeng, however, remained on Star God Island to deal with the aftermath. After all, there were still many of Jiang Taihu’s people on Star God Island, and they all had to be removed promptly. Having experienced this crisis for power, Jiang Liufeng also realized some of his previous shortcomings and began to strengthen the management of his clan members in the Jiang Clan.

Before leaving, Ye Yun wiped a segment of memory from the minds of everyone on Star God Island who had seen him. Even though he didn’t erase the memory from Jiang Liufeng’s mind, Ye Yun had set a restriction on it. If anyone tried to read Jiang Liufeng’s memories in the future, the restriction would automatically erase all recollections of Ye Yun from Jiang Liufeng’s mind. As for Jiang Hengyue, Ye Yun had also placed a similar memory restriction on him. This was done for their protection. Otherwise, if the power behind the scenes one day traced its way here, they would be unable to resist with their insignificant cultivation bases.

Ye Yun was very cautious because, to him, the power behind the scenes was too formidable. It had to be at least at the God King Level.

Over the azure sea, two figures flashed past. Jiang Hengyue led the way, flying while saying with deep emotion, ”Master, thank you so much for this.”

Ye Yun shrugged it off with a smile and said, ”Don’t mention it. You are now part of the Dragon God Sect, and Star God Island is our first base in the Divine Land.”

Jiang Hengyue stopped mid-flight. He bowed respectfully and said, ”Master, rest assured, we will not let you down. My father and I will certainly maintain this base of the Dragon God Sect in the Divine Land.”

Ye Yun nodded. He pondered for a moment, then rummaged through his storage and took out a piece of armor. It was dark green armor, its surface covered with various runes, each emanating a cold glow.

”I am giving this Asura Armor to you. At your current cultivation base of True God Realm Fourth Level, commanding the Asura Armor can make you comparable to the Half-step Divine Monarch Realm.” With a slight smile, Ye Yun tossed the green armor to Jiang Hengyue.

”Asura Armor?” Jiang Hengyue was shocked as he received it. He meticulously studied the dark green Asura Armor, growing more astonished the more he looked. Based on his intuition, he felt that the armor was at least of Emperor Level quality.

”This set of Asura Armor is of God-level quality. It will require some effort for you to refine it, but as your cultivation base improves, this armor will greatly enhance your combat power,” Ye Yun said casually with a smile.

What? God-level quality? Hearing Ye Yun’s words, Jiang Hengyue was dumbfounded. Ye Yun had actually given him a set of God-level Asura Armor. It felt almost like a dream.

”Master, this is too valuable! I am unworthy... to accept such God-level armor!” Jiang Hengyue, holding the Asura Armor, slowly offered it back to Ye Yun. His face was flushed with excitement, his eyes filled with both enthusiasm and unease.

God-level treasures were extremely rare in the Divine Land. Even Divine Monarchs might not possess a God-level treasure. Especially this kind of God-level Armor; it was pitifully scarce. After all, once this kind of God-level Armor was worn, it could increase one’s combat power many times over. It was quite terrifying.

In Jiang Hengyue’s perception, not a single person in the Ninth Sea Area possessed armor of this caliber. As for the other nearby sea areas, he had not heard of anyone possessing such armor either. After all, the divine materials and celestial treasures consumed in crafting a full set of armor were unimaginable. Many Refining Masters would rather make a sword than a full set of armor.

”Take it. This kind of armor may not mean much to me, but it is important for you. You can wear the Asura Armor when you go to Skyreach Island and make a great killing,” Ye Yun said, looking at Jiang Hengyue with a hopeful smile in his eyes.

”Master, thank... thank you very much. I won’t let you down.” Jiang Hengyue was moved to tears and eventually accepted the Asura Armor.

”Put on this armor and begin refining it. I’ll escort you on the way. Once we reach Skyreach Island, you can officially wield the Asura Armor,” Ye Yun said with a smile. After speaking, he waved his hand, and a shield of light enveloped Jiang Hengyue.

”Yes, Master.” Jiang Hengyue agreed, put on the armor, sat cross-legged with a solemn expression, and started the refining process. His first step was to establish a connection with the Asura Armor. This way, when the Asura Armor was not in use, it could shrink back into his body and enter his Dantian, where it would be continuously nurtured with Divine Yuan Power.

Ye Yun walked slowly through the air, his gaze fixed on the direction of Skyreach Island. He was not in a hurry. Giving Jiang Hengyue a day to refine should be enough for him to initially control the Asura Armor. After all, Jiang Hengyue was now a spiritual cultivator in the True God Realm. Refining this God-level Asura Armor naturally happened much faster than when Big Black Cat, then at the Destiny Realm, had refined the Emperor Level Teleportation Boots.

However, because the quality of this Asura Armor was so high, with Jiang Hengyue’s True God Realm cultivation base, he could only initially refine the Asura Armor. Despite this, this Asura Armor could still boost his battle strength to the True God Realm Tenth Layer Peak, or the Half-step Divine Monarch Realm.

As for further refinement, only after Jiang Hengyue broke through to the Divine Monarch Realm could he better control this God-level Asura Armor. By Ye Yun’s estimates, Jiang Hengyue would have to reach the Divine Sovereign Realm to fully refine this Lower God Rank Asura Armor.

True God, Divine Monarch, Divine Sovereign. These three realms corresponded to the refining levels of the Asura Armor—beginner, intermediate, and advanced. No matter the level of refinement—even if he only succeeded in the initial refinement—as Jiang Hengyue continued to break through within the True God Realm, the battle power of the Asura Armor would increase, and its effects would last longer. After all, once this set of armor was activated, it consumed a lot of Divine Yuan Power. Unless it was a life-or-death situation, Ye Yun would not recommend Jiang Hengyue use the Asura Armor. He believed that Jiang Hengyue would understand this after refining the Asura Armor.

Essentially, Ye Yun didn’t really like relying on external objects. A hundred thousand years ago, Ye Yun trusted more in his Divine Dragon Sword. One Sword Breaks Ten Thousand Laws. One sword could cut down all the demons and monsters in the world.

A hundred thousand years later, Ye Yun still held this conviction. Only now, he possessed the Ancestral Dragon Body, and his physical strength was terrifying. Under the philosophy of One Sword Breaks Ten Thousand Laws, Ye Yun trusted his fists even more.

There was nothing a punch couldn’t solve. If one punch couldn’t solve it, then he would throw a second, and a third... blasting away all obstacles without mercy!

It was because of this philosophy that even though he had countless God-level and Super God Level treasures in his warehouse, Ye Yun seldom made use of them.
