The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1987: Chapter 1987: Magical Treasures Also Need Upgrading!

Carson Flores watched this scene, his scalp tingling.

Ice and fire intertwined, even if it was made of iron, it would be directly shattered.

Transitioning from extremely high temperatures to freezing, who could withstand that?

Not to mention countless mountains pressing down from above, leaving no room to escape!

”Stop!”

”I concede!”

Though the Dark Ancestral Dragon wasn’t outright destroyed by these tactics, it was still battered, weary beyond words.

Though he could persist longer, what meaning would that hold?

He had already witnessed Delarosa’s methods and roughly understood that in this Tower World, she was akin to a god.

She may not necessarily be much stronger than him, but here, it was her domain, and he couldn’t possibly contend with her.

The Dark Ancestral Dragon chose to surrender.

Though a bit embarrassing, what did it matter?

After all, no one else was watching!

Delarosa waved casually, her ten fingers like playing a piano, and in an instant, the world returned to how it was, and the Dark Ancestral Dragon appeared in midair once more.

If it weren’t for the Dragon’s present sorry state, one might even think everything just now was an illusion, not something that really happened.

The Dark Ancestral Dragon looked at Delarosa with suspicion and uncertainty. ”What exactly is your background? The Thunder Immortal Realm can’t possibly have such a powerful magical treasure or Artifact Spirit!”

Delarosa calmly replied, ”This has nothing to do with you. Focus on your tasks, and in the future, your time to leave will come. If you cause trouble, I will permanently suppress you here.”

The Dark Ancestral Dragon rolled his eyes, displeased with Delarosa’s words. After all, he was used to being arrogant and had never been threatened like this before.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t defeat Delarosa.

Since he couldn’t win, in this tower, if you’re a dragon, you must coil, if a tiger, lie down!

Cause less trouble, receive fewer beatings!

”Fine, I’ve just been inactive for too long and wanted to move around a bit, nothing more. You’re strong, I acknowledge you. I will do as agreed, and apart from that, you may not interfere with me.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”This is Delarosa’s home. As long as you don’t cause chaos and follow the contract, we naturally won’t interfere much, and in a way, you’re free. What you do for me is as compensation for us later figuring out how to sever the ties and set you free.”

The Dark Ancestral Dragon had no objections to Carson Flores’ explanation.

Carson Flores didn’t owe him anything, he had saved his life, and finding a way to sever the ties isn’t simple either. Paying a price was fitting.

”Alright, you can throw those guys in, I’ll ensure they behave like sheep, ready to fight for you.”

”It’s a deal!”

The Dark Ancestral Dragon slithered away to find a place he preferred, while Carson Flores looked at the broken sword in hand, smiling wryly, ”To release him, even the sword broke, I’ll have to find someone to forge a new one...”

Delarosa replied, ”I can help you refine the sword, but you need to leave the True Solar Fire with me first, otherwise, it can’t be melted.”

Carson Flores was pleasantly surprised, ”Delarosa, you can refine artifacts too?”

Delarosa responded calmly, ”I’ve lived long enough to naturally pick up many things, and with the Seven-colored Star Meteorite Iron you got, besides crafting a suitable sword, it can also be used as a supplementary material to refine other magical treasures.”

”Didn’t you previously give me the hide and legs of a Kui beast? It’s not completed yet due to missing some materials. Also, didn’t you acquire a Nine Dragons Immortal Lotus before? Add the Seven-colored Star Meteorite Iron, and it can be refined into a Nine Dragons Lotus Platform, with defensive power not inferior to your Glazed Universe Umbrella.”

Carson Flores’ eyes lit up, ”Oh, right, I forgot if you hadn’t mentioned it... Is the Seven-colored Star Meteorite Iron that powerful?”

Delarosa answered, ”Of course, calling it a once-in-a-millennium sight is short-selling it; it’s rare even in ten thousand years. Acquiring a piece of Seven-colored Star Meteorite Iron is incredibly challenging.”

”Look at your Dragon Roar Sword, the material is top-tier, yet it breaks against the Seven-colored Star Meteorite Iron, and that’s even before forging it into a treasure. Once crafted, it’ll naturally hold even greater power.”

Carson Flores was very pleased, facing formidable enemies, whether Heavenly Immortal or Immortal Monarch, ordinary Defense Treasures couldn’t fend off their attacks well.

He indeed needed to update his magical treasures, or he’d face significant disadvantages in future encounters.

Carson Flores handed over the True Solar Fire to Delarosa and smiled, ”Delarosa, what kind of sword are you preparing to forge for me?”

Delarosa replied, ”With your Sword Bone and practice of the Three-foot Sword Veil, the sword is an extension of your body, it needs to be fast and hard; any extra functions are unnecessary and too flashy.”

”I’ll forge you a sword with an acceleration formation, allowing you to swing it even faster.”

Carson Flores thought it made sense; the Three-foot Sword Veil relied on oneself, not the sword’s auxiliary functions.

No matter how supportive, could a single strike kill a Heavenly Immortal?

Ultimately, it depended on himself!

As long as the sword was hard enough to withstand any magical treasure’s attacks, and fast enough to block all attacks, with no gaps, it would be sufficient!

”How long will it take?”
