The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1917: Chapter 1917: Do You... Want to Stay?

Nico Weaver was busy meeting with various major powers, while Carson Flores ended up having some free time.

Samantha Tate stayed on the ship for two days, feeling embarrassed to stay longer, she quietly bid farewell and left.

Selah Ellison Immortal Lord was healing, and Carson Flores spent his days with Alfred Weaver.

The two didn’t exchange any sweet nothings, instead, their time together was spent enjoying tea, chatting casually, playing chess, or cooking a meal together, much like a couple relaxing over the weekend.

The day before departure, Carson Flores and Alfred Weaver were having tea and playing chess as the sky gradually darkened.

Alfred Weaver asked, ”Are you leaving tomorrow?”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Yes, I’m going to take a trip to the Heavenly Demon Continent.”

Alfred Weaver pursed her lips, ”With Sister Zi Yun accompanying you, I won’t accompany you. Be careful yourself.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”Don’t worry, she’s an Immortal Monarch with strong powers, besides, Delarosa is there too, and the Ancestor Dragon is sealed in the dragon chant sword, my sense of safety is overwhelming!”

Alfred Weaver also smiled.

Indeed, with Selah Ellison Immortal Lord and Delarosa around, what is there to worry about?

No matter how dangerous the enemies or environment might be, even if they can’t win, they can definitely uphold Carson Flores’ life, ensuring a safe escape.

Not to mention Carson Flores is quite good at running away!

The two finished their chess game with laughter, Carson Flores stood up ready to leave, Alfred Weaver bit her lip, and softly said, ”Would you... like to stay?”

Carson Flores was slightly startled, turning his head, only to see Alfred Weaver’s face quickly turned red, her gaze evasive, unable to directly face Carson Flores.

Carson Flores stepped forward, reaching out to embrace Alfred Weaver.

Alfred Weaver’s body immediately became entirely soft, collapsing into Carson Flores’ arms like she was boneless, knowing full well what she was about to experience with Carson Flores staying.

However, Carson Flores did not take her to bed but merely held her tightly.

”Cristopher, when I return, at a better time, just the two of us...”

A strong feeling of emotion surged within Alfred Weaver’s heart, she understood.

Carson Flores did not wish for their first time to be so hasty, and she had just seen Samantha Tate, with Selah Ellison Immortal Lord nearby, under various factors disturbing, her emotions were complex.

Shyness, anxiety, and insecurity.

Carson Flores wanted to be in a comfortable environment with just the two of them, to truly be with her, rather than feeling like thieves on this ship.

Whether Selah Ellison was watching is uncertain, but Nico Weaver was certainly keeping an eye on them.

”Okay!”

Alfred Weaver was a little anxious initially, but after hearing Carson Flores’ words, the feeling of anxiety completely disappeared.

Samantha Tate is Carson Flores’ wife, that’s out of discussion, Selah Ellison Immortal Lord had a fleeting relationship with Carson Flores, now the two are setting out for the Heavenly Demon Continent together, isn’t this like a united journey?

Who knows what changes might transpire during their trip, so she wanted to give herself to Carson Flores tonight, solidifying their relationship, dispelling inner insecurity.

Carson Flores understood, using another way to soothe Alfred Weaver, making her no longer anxious.

Carson Flores just left Alfred Weaver’s room when Nico Weaver’s voice came to his ears.

”Kid, come down for a drink.”

Carson Flores smirked, thinking he had just left the room and heard Nico Weaver’s telepathic voice, who would believe he wasn’t constantly watching?

Fortunately, he hadn’t done anything; if he had planned anything, what would Nico Weaver, as a father, have done?

Carson Flores leapt to the rear, heading to a pavilion at the edge of the deck.

Nico Weaver was sitting alone in the pavilion, with several plates of food, half a dish of peanuts, and a pot of wine on the table.

The dishes hadn’t been touched, half the peanuts were gone, and there was wine in the cup, indicating he’d had quite a bit already.

Carson Flores sat across from Nico Weaver, smiling, ”Uncle Yao, drinking alone?”

Nico Weaver looked at Carson Flores, his gaze unusually complicated, ”Why not stay?”

With a parent questioning why one didn’t stay the night with his daughter, Carson Flores felt awkward, and responded with a bitter smile, ”Uncle Yao, you were listening all along?”

Nico Weaver said casually, ”What should be listened to, I listened to; what shouldn’t be listened to, I naturally didn’t.”

Carson Flores pondered, then answered frankly, ”This moment and this setting, don’t feel right.”

Nico Weaver nodded, a wine pot on the table rose by itself, pouring into an empty glass, which landed in front of Carson Flores.

”Be a man, drink!”

Carson Flores held the glass, took a sip, and couldn’t resist his curiosity, ”If I had stayed, would Uncle Yao have kicked me off the boat?”

Nico Weaver shook his head, ”I wouldn’t have stopped you, nor interfered, but internally, I’d see you a little lowered.”
