However, the words revealed by Scorpio also indicate that there are definitely more than one Land of Obsession like the bizarre competition.

Normally, when you activate the login device, the places you go to are all ”human”-based Lands of Obsession.

But this time, Zheng participated in a ”ascension exam” for monsters. He must live like a monster to be invited by the system.

In other words, Old Zheng might still get other ”entry tickets” in the future.

This is also what Scorpio meant by, ”Even if this place was not originally a location humans could visit, as long as you master a special method, similar places can be visited by humans.”

Wen Xishu said:

”I understand, let’s have the award now.”

The host then said:

”I need a little time for the two of you, please wait.”

This was directed at Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai.

After the bizarre competition, where the host would end up was unclear. It was also unclear whether the boss behind the bizarre competition would take his anger out on him.

Wen Xishu just felt that the host’s smile and respectful attitude in his words were very commendable.

Although at first, this host was full of malice, it is certain he received orders from someone higher up.

The rewards for Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai had not yet been issued, but Abdu, the reward for this rare kind, began to be given out.

Abdu’s body started to mutate, and the spikes that originally covered it began to recede bit by bit.

These spikes were used to protect Abdu.

But now, after the spikes receded, Abdu looked more like a human. However, soon, beneath Abdu’s feet, there appeared a writhing, red shadow.

Crimson is the color that all apocalypse monsters most desire to attain. It signifies their dangerous nature, the strongest existence in the apocalypse.

Now, under Abdu’s feet, there was a red shadow.

With a thought from Abdu, this shadow immediately covered the entire arena.

Then, Abdu’s fingers trembled slightly, and countless massive spikes burst from the ground!

Zheng Zai was stunned. He absolutely believed these spikes could penetrate steel.

Abdu had become the Red House.

Abdu couldn’t believe it, that he now possessed such an exaggerated power.

He had thought he could become an elite kind, or even a leader level, but never imagined he would become the Red House directly.

Such a thing as advancing by three levels is something only those who truly experience the lives of monsters in the apocalypse can understand as a luxury wish.

This is truly changing fate.

Wen Xishu understood as he looked at Abdu.

”It seems that when monsters gain points, they evolve.”

”But Old Zheng and I are humans, and humans don’t evolve... so naturally, compensation must come from other directions.”

The host had not yet appeared. At this time, the host was negotiating with someone unknown.

Wen Xishu generously said:

”Congratulations, Abdu, you are now a ruler.”

Abdu clearly knew that everything he got was given by Wen Xishu.

Hundreds of thousands of initial points… such a human couldn’t simply be an ordinary role.

Abdu was also very smart:

”I am willing to serve you. If you have any use for me in the future, just give the order anytime!”

Wen Xishu said:

”Do you know Wind City? If you have nowhere to go in the future, you can go to Wind City. It’s my place, and Wind City welcomes you.”

Zheng Zai was shocked. Younger Brother Wen actually had his own influence outside the bunker?

When Wen Xishu killed the Demon King, Zheng Zai felt that Younger Brother Wen had the demeanor of first figures like Xun Hui and Wenren Mirror.

But now, he just felt Wen Xishu was getting closer to reaching the level of the old principal.

Even Abdu did not expect that in the chaos of the apocalypse, someone would dare say: This place is mine.

Abdu was fearfully grateful, unable to realize… that he was now stronger than Wen Xishu.

”Thank you very much for taking me in!”

Wen Xishu mastered the aura thing very well.

Wen Xishu just nodded slightly, as if recruiting a Red House was just a trivial matter.

In fact, why would a Red House need to be taken in by others?

...

The host’s phone call lasted quite a while.

Because there seemed to be more than one person on the other end of the line.

The call connected to many places.

”Fool, do you know how much obsession tools and power we will lose after this bizarre competition is cut off?”

This was the rebuke from Lord Taurus.

Actually, the host knew.

The Land of Obsession relies on obsessions. Countless monsters died in the apocalypse, their frustration at being born as cannon fodder turned into obsession, giving these cannon fodder a place to ascend.

But the process of ascension was taken over by the constellations, allowing many places for under-the-table operations.

So the survival rate became a one in ten chance.

A large group of cannon fodder entered, only to discover this place was even more of a pit than outside… they became stepping stones for others, dead.

Thus, their obsessions were further absorbed by the bizarre competition.

It’s like a perpetual motion machine.

It constantly mined ”tools” and ”powers.”

It regularly cultivated ”Red Houses.”

The premise was not to let humans live.

But now, the perpetual motion machine is gone, and the method to shear the Deceit Tower is gone.

Taurus was uncharacteristically angry; he always had a big brother image.

At this moment, over the phone, the host heard Libra speak:

”There’s nothing to be done. Who could have thought that there would be a human capable of obtaining an entry ticket by consuming their kind like a monster?”

”And it just so happens that... a human with an initial score of hundreds of thousands, there should only be Albert from the bunker like that.”

”The bunker is very strong. In recent years, there have been many talents. Brother, you should figure out how to exchange rewards.”

”Remember, you use the rules of obsession to gain benefits, but the prerequisite is that you also have to adhere to the rules.”

A child’s voice appeared:

”Yes, yes, brother, you can’t cheat, you know, I hate cheaters when playing games.”

This was Scorpio’s voice.

At this moment, unexpectedly, Libra taunted:

”Tsk, aren’t you the one who likes to find loopholes and cheat mechanisms in your games?”

Scorpio was not annoyed when exposed, stating casually:

”Times are different~ Brothers, humans will not evolve into Red Houses, so please grant them the tools or abilities they should have and can use.”

”You have such rich resources, no problem, right? Anyway, I’m all for giving when it’s due, no hesitation.”

Scorpio’s voice was filled with laughter, clearly very pleased.

A long time later, Taurus said:

”You seem particularly considerate towards that human, is he someone special?”

Scorpio thought for a moment:

”I can only say this is a big gamble, but brother, why not try it? Anyway… you too have to follow the rules, why not be generous and go with the flow?”

The host was still wondering how to deal with these two human winners?

And whether he could survive?

As he was puzzled, Taurus said:

”Everything will be handled by the guide. Since for humans, this is a tower climb, let’s proceed in their way.”

Taurus did not stint, nor did Libra.

But Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai still didn’t know what they were going to get.

The host was also at a loss.

He suspected he had messed up again.

Because when he ended the call and finally went to the rest hall…

Only Abdu, who had become the Red House, was left.

Abdu, also at a loss, said:

”They… they suddenly disappeared.”

Yes, Wen Xishu and Zheng Zai had suddenly disappeared.

Because for the two of them, the task was already over, and they were returning to where they should be—the place where the guide was.

The only and richest reward in the bizarre competition for humans would be revealed by the guide.
