Three Towers Game

The host had never ridden a drop tower.

From before he was selected as the host, and even after being chosen...

He still hadn’t ridden a drop tower.

But his current mood was indeed like being on a drop tower, one moment at the peak, thinking his plan succeeded... only to plummet to the depths in the next instant.

The number of Heroes was decreasing faster than expected.

Seeing the Shield Hero, Sword Hero, Bow Hero, Magic Hero... and even the most difficult to kill, Array Hero, decreasing so rapidly, the host wished to savor a glass of red wine brewed from countless minions’ unwillingness and resentment in this Land of Obsession, to celebrate once again fulfilling his mission.

Lord Taurus was about to gain ten capable subordinates, and the bizarre contest would once again become the focus of everyone’s attention.

Among the twelve lords, Lord Leo loved conquest, while Lord Taurus favored ”opportunity.”

He was always creating various opportunities, be it entertainment shows or competitive programs like the bizarre contest.

The bizarre contest was perhaps the most important project among many of Lord Taurus’s ventures.

Because it wasn’t just Taurus; another supreme being, Libra, also held this project in high regard.

A lot of investment was made for this project, including but not limited to ”card decks.”

Lord Taurus yearned to acquire powerful subordinates through ”selection.”

Yet similarly, selection was also a form of harvest.

Lord Libra genuinely hoped someone could stand out and become a leader strong enough to influence the Three Towers War.

In the host’s eyes, Lord Libra was someone who enjoyed seeing chaos.

Whenever a new force emerged, he would be delighted. It was rumored that Lord Taurus collaborated with Lord Leo in certain cities.

Yet Lord Libra was the archenemy of Lord Leo.

Whenever the host thought of this, he felt... his master was truly the one with the strategic foresight.

Watching the Hero group continuously diminish, the host originally thought those two humans would die.

After all, the gap in power between Heroes and the Demon King was too great.

As usual, he could select ten qualified individuals to report to Lord Taurus and Lord Libra.

But gradually, he started to frown.

Something wasn’t right.

Because Demon King Twenty-two was dead.

Demon King Twenty-two was a Demon King he originally didn’t hold in high regard. His death wasn’t unfortunate; it was just surprising that a demon king versus demon king battle occurred so soon.

Although the host didn’t know the details of the battle...

He could see the change in the number of people from both camps.

The death of Demon King Twenty-two slightly surprised him; as a Demon King, he died a bit too quickly.

After all, Demon King Seven, Demon King Ten, Demon King Nineteen... they were all very powerful, even able to determine victory or defeat with other Demon Kings in an instant.

They were all beings with tens of thousands of points, possibly had Divine Card blessings.

Among these Divine Cards, the strongest ones were in three sets.

One set was the Emotion Double-Edged Sword, which could be said to be an invincible offensive and defensive card, provided by Lord Taurus.

Another set was the ”Fairness” card deck provided by Lord Libra. Under its effect, there would no longer be a significant attribute gap with the opponent.

The third set, provided by Lord Scorpio, was called Song of Time. It had powerful rule-based instant kill capabilities, but it lacked defensive abilities. The Song of Time card deck would deal proportional life value damage based on the opponent’s age. It could also forcibly designate the opponent’s age.

The Song of Time, Emotion Double-Edged Sword, and any set combined with Libra’s fairness would be an unsolvable existence.

If a Hero could defeat a Demon King, there were only two possibilities.

But all these years, no one had ever drawn them.

Because drawing these Divine Cards not only had a low probability, but it also required related ”favor points.”

The host didn’t believe such an improbable event would actually occur.

But as the data on the field started changing...

He began to question everything.

”Demon King Ten... died?”

The number of Heroes continued to plummet, yet the strongest Demon King Ten was dead.

Was it the work of other Demon Kings?

He began to feel uneasy, pacing back and forth.

Not long after, Demon King Eleven and Demon King One also died, within just a few minutes of each other.

”Damn it! Given the current number of Heroes, it’s almost impossible to kill a Demon King. How could two die in succession!”

”Don’t fight among yourselves! Deal with the Heroes first, then solve the other Demon Kings!”

The host truly wished he could intervene personally.

In fact, he believed that by significantly increasing the number of Demon Kings and completely disrupting the Heroes’ ranks, everything would go smoothly, and he would await his rewards.

But events began to unfold in ways he never imagined.

The number of Heroes continued to decrease.

Array Heroes were all wiped out.

Shepherd Heroes were all wiped out.

Watching the number of Demon Kings remaining unchanged, the host felt like a shareholder watching the stock market:

”No problem! The Heroes are falling! It was just a technical adjustment earlier! Don’t worry! It’s a technical adjustment!”

Soon after, the Magic Hero and Bow Hero, along with the Axe Hero who was good at breaking defenses, also dwindled to single digits.

”Great! Kill all the Heroes!”

But the Sword Hero and Shield Hero always had a few remaining.

The host clapped his hands and said:

”Kill them! Kill all the Sword Heroes and Shield Heroes!”

He was well aware of the identities of those two humans because the draw could be manipulated.

As long as the Shield Heroes and Sword Heroes were completely wiped out... it would mean the death of those two humans.
