Social Animals? My Brother is a Female Empress in the Underworld and Earns 10 Billion a Month!

387: Deceiving the evil godShang Wan Ning couldn’t be bothered to pay attention, simply sweeping over with her Sea of Consciousness, as if saying, ”Keep making noise and I’ll stuff you back into the System Space for five hundred years to keep company with the mud of the River of Oblivion.”

Little Four hurriedly fell silent, leaving only the little ball of light pouting in the Sea of Consciousness.

But Princess Shang Wugou didn’t think it was too little at all; on the contrary, she felt that ”getting pocket money every week” was a wonderful thing.

She hadn’t even been able to eat a clean piece of fruit at the bottom of the river, and now, having a mom and pocket money was like a pie falling from the sky.

She nodded immediately, her little face full of excitement: ”Thank you, Mom. One hundred is enough.”

”Fei Fei won’t buy toys, just sweet fruit. One piece can last a long time!”

”Mhm, sensible.”

Shang Wan Ning nodded with satisfaction, feeling that this Little Evil God was much easier to fool than Chen Yu.

Back then, Chen Yu was as cunning as a monkey; trying to squeeze incense points out of her hands was harder than making the book of life and death turn its own pages.

But a verbal agreement wasn’t enough. She had to find a foolproof way to bind the Little Evil God firmly to her side to prevent her from causing trouble in the future.

Shang Wan Ning bent down, ”Fei Fei, I am the Netherworld Empress, and I keep my word.”

”Since I promised to be your guardian, I will take responsibility for you. But you must also keep your promise.”

”Be obedient, work, don’t cause trouble, and above all, do not leave the Underworld without permission.”

Princess Shang Wugou clenched her little fists and nodded vigorously. ”Fei Fei will definitely be obedient, will never cause trouble, and will never leave Mom.”

”Very good.”

Shang Wan Ning extended her right hand, a faint golden light glowing at her fingertips. ”To make our agreement more binding, let’s sign a contract. Witnessed by my divine blood, as long as the contract is valid, I will always be your guardian, and you can always stay by my side.”

”Divine blood contract?”

Princess Shang Wugou stared at this wisp of golden light, her eyes full of curiosity and a trace of instinctive longing.

The energy within this divine blood made her feel warm, much more comfortable than the mud at the bottom of the river.

”Yes.”

Shang Wan Ning explained, her tone guiding, ”Gods are different from humans; it takes a long time to reach adulthood—tens of thousands or even over a hundred thousand years is possible.”

”Seeing that you are young, the contract term will be tentatively set for one hundred thousand years. Within these one hundred thousand years, if you listen to me, I will ensure your safety in the Underworld and teach you cultivation techniques.”

”If anyone bullies you in the future, the Underworld will help you beat them back.”

One hundred thousand years?

Little Four exploded again in the Sea of Consciousness, ”great host, one hundred thousand years! That’s binding for a lifetime! That’s too ruthless; this contract is basically an indentured servitude agreement.”

Shang Wan Ning didn’t want to pay attention to that certain biased system.

She only waited for Princess Shang Wugou’s answer.

Princess Shang Wugou didn’t understand what the concept of one hundred thousand years was; she only heard ”stay by Mom’s side forever” and ”teach cultivation.”

To her, as long as she could stay by the side of the mom who gave her a name and pocket money, she would be willing even for a million years.

She extended her chubby little hand, her finger touching Shang Wan Ning’s glowing fingertip.

The sensation arrived, accompanied by a wave of warmth that wormed its way into her body through her finger. She couldn’t help but squint her eyes, like a kitten basking in the sun: ”Fei Fei is willing to sign the contract. As long as I can be with Mom, one hundred thousand years doesn’t matter.”

A smile of success flashed in the depths of Shang Wan Ning’s eyes.

The golden light traveled along Princess Shang Wugou’s finger into her palm, wrapping around her wrist ten times before transforming into a golden mark.

The divine runes engraved upon it were the unique contract symbols of the Netherworld Empress. Unless Shang Wan Ning voluntarily dissolves it, it will be valid forever; even the Heavenly Dao couldn’t change it.

”The contract is complete.”

Shang Wan Ning withdrew her hand, looking at the mark on Wugou’s wrist, and nodded with satisfaction. ”From today on, you are my daughter, and also a Little Highness of the Underworld.”

”But remember, this status is given by me. If you dare to cause trouble, I can take it back at any time.”

”And then you won’t even have pocket money.”

”Fei Fei will remember!”

Princess Shang Wugou touched the mark on her wrist, feeling only warmth—like the feeling of Mom’s hand touching her—it was so comfortable that she wanted to nuzzle it.

Tudor watched clearly from the side, secretly admiring the Empress’s craftiness in their heart.

How long has it even been!

She had already wrapped the newly hatched Evil God around her finger, signing contracts and setting pocket money, carving the word ”manipulation” into her very bones.

If it were any other god, they might have already been deceived by the Little Evil God’s cute appearance; who would have thought so thoroughly?

Shang Wan Ning turned to the ball of light in her Sea of Consciousness, ”Little Four, please go to the mall and find a suitable contract document.”

”It needs to clearly state the guardian’s rights, the ward’s obligations, and the detailed rules for allocating incense points. The more detailed, the better...”

”Write in all these clauses: one hundred in weekly pocket money, salary to be handed over in full, no leaving the Underworld without permission, and no sneaking snacks of dirty things from the River of Oblivion. Not a single word can be missed.”

Little Four was so anxious its electronic voice trembled, still wanting to struggle: ”great host, the contracts in the mall are all proper divine contracts; these clauses of yours are too harsh...”

”And what is ’no sneaking snacks of dirty things from the River of Oblivion’! Fei Fei is only a seventh-rank young god!”

”Less nonsense.”

Shang Wan Ning: ”Can’t find it? Then I’ll deduct your pocket money. Without money, let’s see how you woo system-girls.”

”Don’t, I’ll find it, I’m searching right now.” Little Four hurriedly took action, the sound of clacking keyboards ringing in the Sea of Consciousness.

”Rest assured, great host, I’m filtering for exclusive guardian contracts and restrictive clauses for minor gods. I guarantee all clauses will be written in, not a word off.”

”I’ll even add ’can only eat three fruits from the Underworld Market’s Hundred Flavors Restaurant per week’.”

Shang Wan Ning was satisfied.

She lowered her head to stare at Princess Shang Wugou beside her.

The little one was curiously examining the furnishings in the room, her snow-white long hair swaying with her movements.

She occasionally stuck out her tongue to lick her lips, revealing two sharp fangs, looking both obedient and filled with a hint of evil, like a newly tamed beast.

”Hungry?” Shang Wan Ning asked.

She remembered Little Four saying that after an Evil God hatches, it needs to replenish energy. Although Princess Shang Wugou had absorbed the filth at the bottom of the river, eating some proper food would make her more docile.

It would save it from gnawing on living people when extremely hungry.

Princess Shang Wugou nodded immediately, ”Hungry. Fei Fei wants to eat the big pork knuckle from outside.”

”Outside? Big pork knuckle?”

”Yes, big pork knuckle. There are over a dozen big pork knuckles.”

”So fragrant, I want to eat them. However, Mom is ten thousand times more fragrant than the big pork knuckles.” As she said this, Princess Shang Wugou drooled at the Empress.

”Can Fei Fei lick Mom?”

Child, what kind of wild words are you saying.

I am a proper god!!!

Shang Wan Ning’s brow twitched, and she gave the Little Evil God a flick to the forehead.

”Oof!”

Princess Shang Wugou clutched the back of her head in pain, her snow-white long hair drooping down, covering eyes that had instantly clouded over with mist.

She didn’t dare to cry, only pouting aggrievedly, her chubby fingers poking her temples as if that could alleviate the pain.

The greedy look of drooling at the Empress from just a moment ago vanished without a trace, looking obedient to the point of being pitiful.

”Remember, you cannot lick me.”

”You cannot touch living people either. Those creatures with heartbeats and breath, even if they are mere mortals, must never be regarded as food.”

She knew the instincts of an Evil God well; if she didn’t nip this dangerous tendency in the bud early on, there was no telling how much trouble it might cause in the future.

The Underworld could not afford the chaos of a Little Evil God that would gnaw on living people when it got too hungry.
