124: Imprisoning Teacher Helen”Teacher Helen, you must believe the police’s evidence.” Celeste leaned down, squatting on the ground, her eyes locked onto Helen’s.

”No, no, no... Robert wouldn’t do that.” Helen shook her head frantically, her eyes filled with pain.

”Teacher, haven’t you already started to doubt him?”

”Celeste, I saw the suicide note Robert left for me. He said he wouldn’t assault students. Could there be some misunderstanding?”

”Teacher! Don’t you believe Edith? Teacher Robert chose to hang himself because he couldn’t bear the guilt in his heart. It was simply an act of suicide to escape punishment.”

”I believe Edith, but all of this is too strange. Celeste, could it be that an evil spirit from the East possessed Robert, leading to this result?” Helen reached out both hands, tightly grabbing Celeste’s shoulders as if seeking some comfort from her.

”Teacher! Although Spiritual Energy Revival has occurred, you must trust the strength of the Akelaide Family. By my side, how could an evil spirit possibly have the chance to appear!”

Helen hugged herself tightly, tears flowing uncontrollably. ”Robert, how can I believe in you again?”

”Teacher Helen, you’re too tired. Get some sleep!”

... ”Miss Celeste, you promised me a guaranteed admission to the finance major at Caster University!” Edith pushed open the door and took a deep breath.

”What’s the rush? It’s not time for the arrangements yet.” Celeste’s brow furrowed, her presence exerting a suffocating pressure.

[Fool, you’re like a worthless penny, not worth that many pounds at all!]

”Miss Celeste, I’m not that stupid woman Helen, who’s so easily fooled.”

”Enough! You’re not fit to speak of Teacher Helen!” Celeste suddenly clenched her fist.

”Miss Celeste, if you don’t keep your promise, I’ll tell Helen the truth. At worst, we’ll both go down together!” Edith said with a dark expression.

A hint of ruthlessness appeared in Celeste’s eyes. Her lips curled into a cold sneer. ”You really are naive! Do you think Helen will believe you?”

”Don’t forget, you’re just an ordinary poor student, while I am a direct descendant of the Akelaide Family!”

”And besides, there’s nothing this young lady wants that she hasn’t managed to get.”

Edith gritted her teeth, clearly realizing she was currently at a disadvantage.

But she wasn’t willing to easily give up this opportunity that could potentially change her social class.

She took a deep breath and lowered her posture, saying, ”Fine, Miss Celeste, I can give you a bit more time to handle this, but please make sure to resolve my admission issue as soon as possible.”

”Otherwise, with a worthless life like mine, I can’t guarantee I won’t take other actions.” After speaking, she turned and left the room without looking back.

Watching Edith’s departing figure, Celeste thought to herself, ”Utterly foolish, she can’t see the situation at all. Aside from her academic performance being slightly better...”

”I really can’t understand why Teacher Helen values her so much.”

”But it doesn’t matter; there are plenty of ways to deal with her.” At this thought, a sinister look appeared on Celeste’s face... In the darkness of the top-floor teacher’s dormitory, cold iron chains were fastened around Helen’s snow-white skin, leaving several striking red marks.

Her ankles were slightly red, and the cold room made her shiver.

”Celeste, did you frame Robert?” Helen glared at her, wishing she could bite the face that was so close to her.

”Humph, so what if I did? Who told him to be so ungrateful and dare to compete with me for a woman!” Celeste laughed triumphantly.

Helen trembled with rage. ”You vicious woman... Even if I become a vengeful ghost... I will never let you go!”

Celeste didn’t care at all. She slowly walked up to Helen and gently stroked her cheek.

”You know, Teacher, you look truly charming like this. It’s just a pity Robert got a taste first.”

”Bastard!!! Celeste, you... you why... why didn’t you let Robert go? He did nothing wrong!”

”Why would Edith frame her own teacher just for a guaranteed admission spot...” Helen closed her eyes tightly, her tears having long since run dry like a burst dam.

”Why? Because I like Teacher Helen! Hahaha...”

”But what a shame. Why did you have to eavesdrop on my conversation with Edith, Teacher!” Celeste slowly lifted Helen’s head, forcing her to look at her.

”It’s fine. Even if you hate me, at least I’m in your heart.”

Celeste chuckled, her fingers trailing across Helen’s cheek. ”As long as you agree to be with me, I’ll let you go and even make you a shareholder of the school.”

Helen turned her head away, not wanting to see Celeste’s face. ”In your dreams! I’d rather die than be with someone like you!”

Celeste’s gaze turned cold. ”Since you’re so ungrateful, Teacher, don’t blame your student for being impolite.”

With that, she slapped Helen hard, making the corner of her mouth bleed. The demon in her heart was finally unleashed.

”Do you think you’re still the high-and-mighty teacher? You’re nothing but my prisoner now!” Celeste said viciously.

Helen looked at Celeste through gritted teeth. ”You despicable person, you’ll get what’s coming to you!”

Celeste smiled dismissively. ”Retribution? I’m not afraid of any retribution. As long as I can have you, I don’t care about anything.”

Celeste reached out again to stroke Helen’s face, a glint of greed flashing in her eyes.

”Father said, the more beautiful a woman is, the more you should...”

... ”It hurts, it hurts so much!” Helen curled up her body, her mouth constantly muttering ”Robert.”

”Teacher Helen, how can a dead man be better than a living one!” Celeste stopped her movements.

Then, she slowly crouched down and whispered into Helen’s ear, ”I’ll give you a day to consider. If you still won’t agree, it won’t be as simple as just ’pain’.” After saying this, she stood up, straightened her clothes, walked out of the room, and locked the door.

Helen lay on the floor, her body trembling from the pain.

After a long while, Helen crawled up from the floor, used the iron chain to loop around her neck, and pulled it tight... Helen’s vision gradually blurred, and her consciousness grew weaker... ”Robert, Robert, Robert... I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have doubted you.”

”In the end, it was I who broke our vow.”
