I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

After giving Naruto the basic practice method, Nagasawa told Naruto about the achievements of the First Hokage – Hashirama Senjut.

Although he was not from the same generation as Hashirama Senjut, he was very clear about his various achievements.

Nagasawa felt that Hashirama’s identity, Hashirama’s character, and the spirit inherited from him were all things that were beneficial to Naruto’s growth.

”At that time, neither of them knows that they are a member of an enemy clan. They only saw through the other party’s identity from his method of standing on water. Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha only felt that they had met an interesting friend. As long as they had time, they would practice together. Their relationship would improve day by day.”

Nagasawa told Naruto about the scene when Hashirama and Madara first met.

”However, good times do not last long. Their fathers are the patriarchs of their respective Clans. And by the way, Senju Clan and Uchiha Clan were Land of Fire’s strongest Clans back then. Their patriarchs are naturally no average Shinobi.

They quickly discovered that something was wrong with their son and investigated everything. Thus, they ordered their sons to...

At this point, Nagasawa suddenly stopped.

Seeing that Nagasawa suddenly stopped, Naruto asked anxiously, ”Then, what happened? What did Hashirama Senju’s father order? Are Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha alright?”

Naruto felt uncomfortable. How did this end at the most critical moment? What happened to Hashirama Senju and the others? Would they encounter danger?

Because Nagasawa described it so vividly, Naruto was addicted to his story and even put himself into Hashirama’s shoes.

”Haha, it’s already late. I should go too. I will tell you the story next time.” Nagasawa smiled and caressed Naruto’s head.

”... Alright then. Goodbye, Uncle Nagasawa.” Naruto didn’t look very happy.

Nagasawa went downstairs to say goodbye to Minato and his wife, and then walked toward Uchiha Residence.

Unlike Naruto, he had only visited Sasuke once, and that was when Sasuke was born.

It was not that he liked Naruto more than Sasuke, but he wasn’t that close with Fugaku Uchiha’s family compared to Minato’s family.

He and Minato were childhood friends, and they still kept in touch afterwards. Considering how close they were, he often went to Minato’s house to tease Naruto, which was very reasonable.

However, he and Fugaku were not that familiar with each other. If he went to his house every few days to see Sasuke, Fugaku would be suspicious.

Therefore, he naturally did not visit Sasuke. There was another reason for going this time, and that was to talk about Itachi.

At first, Nagasawa thought that had told Fugaku that he had accepted as his disciple, because had previously said that he wanted to discuss it with Fugaku.

Later, he learned that Itachi did not know him back then, so he hadn’t discussed it with Fugaku.

He was also busy collecting information about Sage Mode, so he did not have the opportunity to go there. But now, he wanted to see Sasuke as well, so Nagasawa wanted to do these two things together.

Since it was already evening, Fugaku and his family just finished having dinner, and the whole family sat in the courtyard and chatted together.

Seeing that Nagasawa had come at this time, Fugaku was a little surprised, but he still smiled and greeted, ”Nagasawa-san.”

Nagasawa nodded and responded. Then he said directly, ”This time, I came to discuss with you about Itachi’s practice.”

”Itachi...” Fugaku glanced at Itachi and then looked at Nagasawa. There was a little confusion in his eyes.

Why did Nagasawa come to him to discuss about Itachi? Was there something that he didn’t know about?

Fugaku first thought of Kabuto, who often practiced with Itachi. And Nagasawa was Kabuto’s big brother.

’Could it be that because of this reason? Nagasawa noticed Itachi’s talent and thought of nurturing it?’ Fugaku guessed in his heart.

Although Fugaku’s guesses were all wrong, the conclusion was close to the truth.

Therefore, Fugaku brought Nagasawa to the living room.

”Actually, not long ago, I happened to meet your eldest son, Itachi Uchiha. I admire his talent very much, so after asking for his opinion, I took him as a disciple.”

Nagasawa briefly explained the matter of him taking Itachi as a disciple.

Fugaku nodded. His senses were still very sharp, and it was exactly as he had imagined.

In fact, if Itachi could become Nagasawa’s disciple, Fugaku would be very impressed and happy.

First, Nagasawa was a person with high status. If he was good enough, it would be very convenient for him to compete for the position of Hokage in the future.

Second, it was Nagasawa’s strength. Fugaku also participated in the battle against Nine-Tails, and he personally saw how Nagasawa beat up Nine-Tails.

The strongest Tailed Beast, who was feared by everyone, was like a powerless little fox in the hands of Nagasawa.

In the eyes of Fugaku, the current Nagasawa might be on the same level as the First Hokage, who was called the God of Shinobi.

There was naturally nothing to lose from becoming a disciple of such a strong person.

”I’m going to have Itachi join the Division that I lead after he finishes his first year in Academy. With his talent and strength, spending too much time on Academy was a waste.

Nagasawa said about his plan for Itachi.

”Since you valued Itachi so highly, you must have thought this through. I have no problem with it.” Fugaku nodded.

Then, Nagasawa chatted with Fugaku about Uchiha Clan’s current situation.

”I am preparing to reform Military Police Force for a while. Fugaku, as the leader of Konoha Military Police Force, do you have any suggestions?” Nagasawa asked.

When Fugaku heard Nagasawa’s words, he lowered his head and fell into deep thought.

If it were the Third Hokage or Danzo or even two consultants who asked him this question, Fugaku would definitely think that Konoha’s higher-ups were preparing to suppress Uchiha Clan.

However, the person who asked this question was Nagasawa. Fugaku believed that Nagasawa really just wanted to reform Military Police Force and make Konoha better.

”I don’t think that Military Police Force should be an Uchiha-exclusive division. All of Konoha Shinobi should be allowed to join Military Police Force.” Fugaku thought for a moment and slowly said.

Konoha Military Police Force was established by Tobirama Senju during his time as the Hokage, and Uchiha had full control over it.

Military Police Force had the power to enforce the laws in the village and upheld order.

Therefore, Military Police Force’s authority was not small, and it could even be said to be very big.

But Tobirama was such a shrewd person. Would he do business for a loss? Of course not.

There was a good saying, the person who understands you the most may not be your closest relative, but your enemy.

Tobirama was such a person. He studied Uchiha to the core, and knew them better than most Uchiha.

Tobirama knew that the Uchiha Clan was a very contradictory Clan. The deeper the love, the stronger the power converted from loss of their loved ones.

Therefore, he gathered the Uchiha Clan together, created a garrison and handed it over to Uchiha. While making the Uchiha Clan contribute to Konoha, he also kept them as far away from danger as possible, and it was more convenient to monitor them.

Fugaku was not a particularly smart person. Except for his talent, his other aspects were mediocre, so he could not figure out Tobirama’s purpose.

However, Fugaku was the patriarch of Uchiha Clan, and a progressive one.

He did not know Tobirama’s purpose, but he could see the harm of having Uchiha Clan monopolizing Konoha Military Police Force.

The seemingly huge power made his clansmen maintain their mentality and treat themselves as one of the two strongest forces of Land of Fire. They had an inexplicable fanatical confidence in themselves and looked down on people who were not an Uchiha.

While Uchiha swelled themselves, they also provoked the criticism of others.

Even if Uchiha did not do that, as the ones who had full control over Military Police Force, they were still criticized.

There were simply too many rumors like ”the Uchiha would not be punished for committing a crime” and ”Uchiha would throw the people they don’t like into prison”, even Fugaku was sick of hearing it.

And what benefits did Military Police Force, which had caused such a huge negative impact on Uchiha, bring to Uchiha?

There were no benefits. At least, compared to its negative effects, Fugaku felt that there were almost no benefits.

So what if he had a lot of power? If Uchiha Clan dared to do something out of line, Anbu would immediately come to them.

Therefore, if Nagasawa wanted to reform Military Police Force, Fugaku wanted to change Military Police Force’s nature and make him the Military Police Force of Konoha, not the Military Police Force of Uchiha Clan.

Even if he lost a lot of power because of this, Fugaku felt that it was worth it.

”Are you sure? Well, that is not bad. The entire Military Police Force is indeed under Uchiha Clan’s authority.” Nagasawa nodded.

It couldn’t be seen now, but if Konoha expanded in the future, Military Police Force’s power would also expand.

Even if Fugaku didn’t say it this time, Nagasawa couldn’t let Uchiha Clan monopolize Military Police Force.

However, since Fugaku could bring it up himself, it would be even better, so as to avoid the protest from this proud Clan.

After saying this, Fugaku’s expression clearly relaxed a lot. Even if he was criticized by the conservative Uchiha, who were hungry for power and short-sighted, he would still accept it.

After talking about Military Police Force, Nagasawa finally remembered the main purpose of his visit.

Then he found an excuse to walk back to the small courtyard with Fugaku, and then walked to Sasuke, who was playing with Itachi.

”This is your second son, Sasuke Uchiha, right? He looks very healthy.” Nagasawa said with a smile.

”Hello, Sasuke. Do you still remember me? I went to see you not long after you were born. I even hugged you back then.” Nagasawa greeted Sasuke with a smile.

The sudden arrival of a stranger made Sasuke a little scared. He hid behind Itachi’s back and grabbed his clothes with his small hands. Then, he poked his head out and looked at Nagasawa, saying, ”I don’t remember, I don’t remember at all.”

”Sasuke, you can’t be rude. He is father’s friend. You have to call him Uncle Nagasawa.” Mikoto Uchiha gently reminded him.

”Haha, it’s fine. After all, it’s normal for him not to remember.” Nagasawa smiled.

”Sasuke, come out. Nagasawa-sensei is a very good person. There’s no need to be afraid of him,” Itachi also whispered to Sasuke.

Perhaps it was because both his dear brother and mother had spoken, although Sasuke was still a little afraid, he still walked out from behind Itachi. His left hand was still holding onto the hem of his shirt.

When Sasuke came out, Nagasawa took the opportunity to caress Sasuke’s hair. This was perfect, the heads of both protagonists touched.

Although Sasuke was a little unhappy with Nagasawa’s actions, because his favorite brother was next to him, he felt very safe and did not hide anymore, but instead of hiding, he puffed up his cheeks.

”How can you touch my head casually? I won’t grow taller if you do that.”

Nagasawa was looking forward to how Sasuke would be like since he’d grow up normally.

At the very least it won’t be as bad as in the manga.

Seeing Sasuke’s cute appearance, Itachi’s always expressionless face also showed a smile.

’My brother is really cute.’ Itachi thought to himself.

Nagasawa also knew to keep things in moderation. After teasing Sasuke, Nagasawa apologized:

”Well, why don’t I give you a gift? Just treat it as an apology.”

After finishing speaking, Nagasawa took out a silver-white kunai with a mysterious imprint and handed it to Sasuke.

This is his custom-made kunai. It looked a little more awesome than the ordinary kunai, but it was just as practical as a Flying Thunder God Kunai.

But after all, Sasuke was a child, and practicality was not in their consideration. Sasuke fell in love with this unique kunai at first sight, and then he kept holding it in his hand.

”It’s good to know that you are wrong, I forgive you.” Sasuke said generously.

Nagasawa smiled, thinking that children are so foolish.

But cool things are indeed not very attractive to children.

When he was a child, even if he saw a straight branch, he regarded it as a divine sword, slashing the weeds in the countryside.
